This research paper aims to explore the intersection of Bessie Head's work 'A Collector of Treasures, and Jordan Peele's movie 'Get Out' are deeply interwoven through their exploration of racism, oppression, and the struggle for individuality within oppressive social structures. Both works highlight the pervasive impact of racial and gender-based discrimination, portraying how Black individuals especially women struggle for autonomy. In the text 'A Collector of Treasures', Head presents the dire situation of women in African society, focusing on oppressive gender roles and the violence both mental and physical inflicted on women seeking independence, and their individuality. Similarly, In 'Get Out, the movie exposes the deep-rooted evil practices of racial exploitation, with the protagonist, Chris, experiencing modern-day enslavement under the guise of liberal acceptance. The Themes of colorism and dehumanization manifest in both works, with 'Get Out' critiquing the society's fetishization of Black bodies, while Head explores how beauty standards are mechanized against women. Furthermore, both the text and the cinematic adaptation examines the exploitation of sexuality as addressed by Head how men abandon their responsibilities while making women suffer, 'Get Out' presents the use of interracial relationships as a tool for control and manipulation in contemporary times. Eventually, both the narratives criticize the societal structures that entrap Black individuals, emphasizing their fight for liberation. By intertwining these themes, 'Collector of Treasures' and 'Get Out' serve as powerful commentaries on the enduring struggles against racial and gender-based oppression.

Communication is one of the most powerful and essential tools of human existence. It is through communication that individuals express their ideas, convey emotions, form social bonds, and participate meaningfully in society. However, for millions of people around the world living with visual, hearing, or speech impairments, the ability to communicate and navigate their environment independently remains a persistent challenge. These barriers can lead to social isolation, decreased mobility, and reduced quality of life.In response to these challenges, this project presents an integrated assistive technology solution designed to empower individuals with such impairments. The system combines two core functionalities: a voice-assisted navigation system for visually impaired users, and a sign language recognition module for individuals with speech or hearing disabilities. The navigation module uses a combination of sensors (such as ultrasonic or LiDAR) and artificial intelligence to detect obstacles in the user's path. It delivers real-time audio feedback, guiding users safely through their surroundings and reducing the risks associated with independent mobility. This system is especially helpful in urban environments where navigating streets, avoiding obstacles, or crossing roads can be daunting without visual assistance. In parallel, the sign language recognition module utilizes a camera to capture hand gestures and interprets them using computer vision techniques and machine learning algorithms. These gestures are then translated into audible speech or on-screen text, enabling users with speech impairments to communicate more effectively with others, even in environments where interpreters or other aids are unavailable. What sets this project apart is its focus on simplicity, accessibility, and affordability. Designed with the end-user in mind, the system uses cost-effective components and prioritizes portability and ease of use. This ensures that the benefits of advanced assistive technology can reach underserved populations, including those in low-resource settings.Ultimately, this project is not just about technological innovation--it is about human dignity. It aims to restore a sense of independence, confidence, and connection for individuals who are often marginalized by communication and mobility barriers. By leveraging modern technology with compassion and purpose, the system serves as a step toward a more inclusive and equitable society.

This study looks into the entrepreneurial intentions of secondary school students in Jammu and Kashmir, focusing on their career aspirations, perceived barriers, and the role of institutional support in shaping their outlook toward entrepreneurship. Through a survey of 156 students across diverse academic streams (Science, Commerce, and Arts), the research reveals a strong preference for government jobs (68% with high aspiration) and limited entrepreneurial interest (only 35% showed strong intent). Key findings highlight systemic gaps: 82% reported inadequate school support for entrepreneurship, while 58% identified skill training as their top need. Gender disparities emerged, with male students displaying marginally higher entrepreneurial interest (Mean=3.42 vs. 3.08) and stronger belief in its potential (Mean=3.78 vs. 3.35). Stream-wise analysis showed Arts students were more open to entrepreneurship (Mean=3.7) compared to Science students (Mean=2.8), who prioritized government roles. The study underscores the influence of socio-cultural factors, including parental pressure (43%) and resource constraints (52%), in deterring entrepreneurial pursuits. Statistical analyses (ANOVA, T-tests) confirmed these trends, revealing moderate correlations between self-efficacy and entrepreneurial intent (r=0.45). Notably, 100% of respondents advocated for integrating entrepreneurship education into curricula. These findings call for policy interventions to address skill gaps, enhance industry exposure and recalibrate career guidance frameworks in Jammu and Kashmir's secondary education system. By bridging institutional shortcomings and fostering an entrepreneurial mindset early, this research contributes to broader discussions on youth employability and regional economic resilience.

This study aimed to assess the compliance of Primary Health Care (PHC) facilities in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija with the standards set for licensing, to identify areas for improvement and propose appropriate compliance measures. The research focused on ten key domains: Patient Rights and Organizational Ethics, Patient Care, Leadership and Management, Human Resource Management, Information Management, Safe Practice and Environment, Improving Performance, Physical Plant, Public Access to Price Information, and Equipment and Instruments. A quantitative-descriptive research design was used, utilizing survey questionnaires in the Department of Health Administrative Order No. 2020-0047-A, entitled "Rules and Regulations Governing the Licensure of Primary Care Facilities in the Philippines", facility assessments, and key informant interviews to gather data from selected PHC facilities. The analysis revealed that while facilities generally adhered to basic health standards in areas such as patient care and leadership and governance, significant deficiencies were observed in equipment availability, physical infrastructure, and public access to price information. Additionally, gaps in human resource capacity and documentation practices were noted. The findings indicate that many PHC facilities face challenges in fully meeting licensing requirements due to limited resources, limited trainings particularly in the provision of health services, and weak internal monitoring mechanisms. As a result, a proposed action plan was developed to enhance facility compliance through targeted interventions in health infrastructure support, instrument and equipment provision, capacity building, and health policy enforcement. This study highlights the need for strengthened local health systems and continuous quality improvement to ensure that primary health care facilities provide accessible, safe, and quality services in line with national health standards.

Dosha, Dhatu, and Mala are three vital factors of foundation of human body. These three endure body and all body functions; hence they are also called as 'Tridhatu'. Amongst these, Dhatu are responsible for various components of body which help in sustenance of body. The sustenance of these Dhatu is from Sara portion of Ahara Rasa after ahara paka. Ayurvedic scholars described few Nyaya to explain the nourishment or formation of these Dhatu in body. Ancient acharya used Nyaya to elaborate the concept or theory. Hence to portray the mechanism of nourishment of Dhatu, they described three Dhatu Poshan Nyaya in classics. Charakacharya depicted three laws of nutrition i.e. Ksheera -Dadhi Nyaya, KedariKulya Nyaya and Khale- Kapota Nyaya. These nyaya are equivalent to each other. They do not interfere with each other nor do they oppose each other, it is therefore important to accept all theories together and interpret nourishment of seven Dhatu. In initial stage, food has to undergo through the digestion process by Pachakagni or Jatharagni. Dhatwagni, along with Bhutagni further process this Ahara paka and Dhatu are nourished. This dhatu poshan nyaya can be related to metabolism process in body. The term metabolism of a food substance is meant by a series of specific biochemical reactions occurring within the living organism from the time of its incorporation into the cell or tissue till its excretion.

Basic Life Support (BLS) is a foundational lifesaving skill necessary for early intervention in cases of cardiac arrest or similar emergencies. The presence of trained individuals, especially in educational institutions, can significantly enhance the survival rate in emergencies. This study was conducted to assess the knowledge level of high school teachers regarding BLS in selected schools of Maharashtra, Maharashtra. A descriptive cross-sectional design was employed involving 60 high school teachers selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using a validated structured questionnaire. The study revealed that a majority of the participants demonstrated good knowledge, with a small proportion showing excellent understanding. However, some participants were found to have poor knowledge regarding BLS. These findings emphasize the importance of regular and structured BLS training programs in schools to ensure that teachers are equipped to act promptly in life-threatening situations.

Abstract Introduction: Adopting good lifestyle practices is essential to reducing the risk of lifestyle illnesses in early adulthood. This include eating a balanced diet, exercising often, controlling stress, abstaining from tobacco and excessive alcohol use, getting enough sleep, and scheduling routine checkups with the doctor. Early adoption of these behaviours can greatly lower the chance of later developing lifestyle illnesses. Aim: This study was undertaken to evaluate the effectiveness Of Life Style Modification Programme on Knowledge, Attitude and Life Style Practices Related to Life Style Disease Among Early Adulthood, Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, India. Objectives: 1) To gauge the research group's early adult members' awareness of lifestyle illnesses. 2) To ascertain the research group's early adult members' attitudes toward lifestyle disorders. 3) To ascertain the lifestyle behaviours associated with lifestyle illnesses among the research group's early adult participants. 3) To create a program for modifying one's lifestyle in response to certain lifestyle illnesses. 4) To assess the impact of a life style adjustment program on early adulthood's knowledge, attitudes, and lifestyle behaviours related to lifestyle illnesses. 5) To ascertain the correlation between early adulthood's pre-test knowledge, attitude, and lifestyle habits and the specified demographic characteristics. 6) To establish a correlation between the research group's early adulthood's degree of knowledge, attitude, and lifestyle habits about certain lifestyle illnesses. Methodology: A structured questionnaire on the life style change program, a 5-point attitude scale, and a checklist to assess lifestyle habits were used to collect pre-test data. An average of twenty adulthoods were assessed each week. The entire inspection took place in twenty to thirty minutes. After the pre-test data collection, the samples were given a checklist for assessing their existing lifestyle practices and a life style change program that used a range of teaching strategies to teach them how to prevent lifestyle disorders. The samples were assessed again for the post-test one week later, this time utilizing the identical lifestyle choice evaluation checklist, attitude scale, and questionnaire. During the data collection period, the samples exhibited effective cooperation. Results: Following the intervention, the mean score for lifestyle behaviours climbed dramatically from 7.6 to 14.6, representing a 7.0-point (SD=1.6) improvement. Following the lifestyle modification program, there was a highly significant change in lifestyle behaviours, as indicated by the t-value of 97.915 with 499 degrees of freedom and a significance level of P<0.001. The early adult population's knowledge, attitude, and lifestyle behaviours about lifestyle illnesses were significantly improved by the lifestyle modification program. These results imply that the program was effective in improving knowledge, cultivating optimistic attitudes, and promoting better lifestyle choices within this particular population. Conclusion: The study concludes by highlighting the significance of lifestyle interventions and preventative strategies in reducing the risk of lifestyle illnesses in early adulthood. Policymakers may improve health outcomes and the well-being of communities in Madhya Pradesh, Sagar, and beyond by funding focused health promotion initiatives and creating a welcoming atmosphere for healthy living.
