The study was undertaken to assess dietary habits and physical activity pattern on non communicable disease among college going girls. Inadequate physical activity and unhealthy dietary intake established during youth may extend into adulthood and may increase risk for non-communicable diseases. This study aims to investigate the effect of dietary habits and physical activity pattern on non-communicable diseases on college going girls. A cross-sectional study was conducted which was based on primary data of 100 college going girls belonging to (19-25 Years) of age were randomly selected from Lucknow University. A data was ascertained by self structured questionnaire, and it comprises three parts: (1) Socio-demographic characteristics of the students (2) Dietary habits (3) physical activity pattern of the selected sample. In the result it was found that 70 percent respondents were age group of 19-22 years and 30 percent were 20-25 years of age group. Results shows that 41 percent respondents were come under the category of underweight (>18.5 BMI), 53 percent comes in normal weight category, 3 percent comes in over weight and remaining 3 percent comes under obese category. The study also revealed that 40 percent found underweight, 13 percent having eye illness, 20 percent facing menstruation related problems, 11 percent anemia, 4 percent high B.P, 3 percent obesity, 1 percent heart disease and remaining 7 percent found thyroid. Statistically, positive correlation found between dietary habits and non-communicable diseases. Statistically, positive correlation was observed between physical activity and non-communicable diseases among respondents and insignificant association was found.

Kerala is the state which has a glorious past to claim and an honorable position in the socio-cultural map of the world. India is known as the land of religions and civilizations, and is gifted with the legacy of the largest democracy and the slogan of unity in diversity. Among other states of India, Kerala is enriched with heritage and tradition in religiosity with its persevering stance in the contemporary cosmopolitan societies in the world. Religiosity, in its broader sense, is a comprehensive sociological term used to refer to the numerous aspects of religious activity, dedication and belief, and in its narrower sense, deals more or less with how religious person is.All major world religions prevail in Kerala from ancient period. Jewish religion arrived in 7th century BC, Christianity came through St.Thomas in AD 52, and Islam came in eighth century AD. Indian religions such as Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism were also introduced in Kerala in different times. Majority of population of Kerala are followers of Hinduism which prevailed from the ancient period and modified by various reformers in different epochs. It is noteworthy that there are also those who do not believe in any religion and pursue atheist doctrines. In spite of the diversity and multiplicity in the religious and socio cultural arena of Kerala, the people of Kerala manifest an exemplary model of social harmony and tolerance which set away the roots of extremist forms of piety and fundamental concepts of religiosity. As followers of religion, Muslims of Kerala keep the traditional feature of tolerance which transmitted from generation to genearation. History of religiosity of Muslims in Kerala witnessed the fact and credit for continuity of the harmonizing character of the society in peaceful manner goes to different religious organizations of Muslims.

The idea of State, authoritative issues, famous government, organization, decentralization, opportunity, privileges and commitments, how were these impacted Gandhi and his future vision for India. This paper investigated the possibility of Gandhi's idea of decentralization, his political responsibilities like secularism, panchayats, cancelation of aloofness, the option to talk uninhibitedly of talk, etc in the Indian constitution and their congruity in the current age. In last, immediately, We had made a few comprehension of understanding of continuous emerging challenges in the present society and discussed them in the light of Gandhian principles, so obvious vote based framework could be win. Subsequently, the point of convergence of this paper was chiefly on political considerations and political responsibilities of Gandhiji and their present significance. His political thoughts were stateless and party-less majority manages situation, decentralization, the right to speak freely of discourse, cancelation of distance, moral administrative issues, secularism, etc. There is phenomenal congruity of Gandhian political considerations or characteristics in the current season of growing mercilessness and fanaticism.

The objective of this paper is to explain the role of education to promote economic development in Odisha. It may be realized that the society with higher percentage of literates has higher levels of development. The paper principally focuses on the growth of elementary to higher education in Odisha, issues of equity and access to educational opportunities. This has been examined by enrolment in higher Education and gender wise enrolment. The challenge to the Government is to ensure the equitable access of educational opportunities to all. However, there is sufficient evidence of educational disparity not only between different social groups but also between different regions of the state. The paper makes an attempt to address the issues relating to elementary to higher education in different regions of Odisha. It also examines regional disparities in education in the state. Nanotechnology is a promising field of interdisciplinary research. The potential uses and benefits of nanotechnology are enormous. Nanotechnology is the technology of 21st century i.e. Nanotechnology is the science of the extremely small particles holds enormous potential applications for environment. Nanotechnology is the science of materials at the molecular or subatomic level. It involves engineering of particles smaller than 100 nanometers (one nanometer is one-billionth of a meter) and the technology involves developing materials or devices within that size is invisible to the human eye and often many hundred times thinner than the width of human hair. The physics and chemistry of materials are radically different when reduced to the nanoscale; they have different strengths, conductivity and reactivity, physical, chemical, biological, thermal, electrical properties. Nanotechnology has been described as the development of clean technologies, to minimize potential environmental and human health risks associated with the manufacture and use of nanotechnology products and to encourage replacement of existing products with new nano-products that are more environmentally friendly throughout their lifecycle. Most applications of Nanoparticles in reducing natural disasters can be analyzed in three main areas that are building materials, sensors and medicine.

Earthquake risk assessment is the initial step for sensible and powerful planning and usage of earthquake risk reduction and additionally readiness activities as it helps understanding the basic issues and its extent. Before, design and mitigation strategies were frequently constrained to an accentuation on moderating the effects of individual hazards. In ongoing decades, a move towards creating strategies to survey and alleviate the effects of multiple hazards has happened. For the research work to be done in accounts the multi-storied buildings of Ahmedabad city of Gujarat. A significant portion of the information gathered was through essential overview. After the conception of the possibility of the topic, writing audit was completed to have a superior understanding of the issues, and the techniques and ways to deal with be utilized were chosen. The issues in the examination zone were broke down and contrasted and the prevailing situation in the regions where such kind of contextual investigations has been completed. This examination, therefore, attempts to understand how to address a portion of the hazards that are widespread in the city and build up an approach that can be received for other cities that have comparative issues using Remote Sensing information and Geographic Information System (GIS) methods.

It is widely acknowledged by all parties involved that contemporary medications will continue out of grasp for many people and that the goal of "health for all" will only be achieved via the use of appropriately evaluated herbal supplements. Since the dawn of human civilization, mankind has relied on herbal medicine for the treatment of a variety of ailments. However, major questions are being raised about the safety, claimed efficacy, and overall quality of herbal items that are utilised as herbal medicine, nutraceuticals, health foods, and cosmetics, among other applications. Despite the fact that herbal items have been used for thousands of years and are usually considered safe, several herbal products, including herbal medicine, have been associated with serious negative effects. Because most of the traditional herbal medicinal information is dispersed around the globe at the family and community levels, and particularly among indigenous people, the knowledge base is constantly being lost and urgent recording is required to prevent further loss of information.
