 Abstract

Since the dawn of civilization, people have revered plants, and these plants have been genetically preserved. resource and used in a variety of ways, such as food, fibre, fuel, fertiliser, and febrifuge. Among them is the Calotropis gigantea plant. The systematic position, common names, vegetative characteristics, ecology, and distribution, as well as Calotropis gigantea phytochemistry and economic benefits are examined. Asclepiadaceae perennial herb Calotropis gigantea has a long history of usage in folk medicine. This plant has yielded a wide variety of chemical substances, including cardiac glycosides, flavonoids, terpenoids, alkaloids, tannins, and resins. The plant has been used to treat a number of illnesses, such as leprosy, ulcers, tumours, and piles. Analgesic activity, antipyretic activity, pregnancy prevention, CNS activity, anti-inflammatory activity, procoagulant activity, anti-diarrheal activity, free radical scavenging activity, antimicrobial activity, anti-tumor, antifungal, antitussive, and antifeedant activity are just a few of the reported pharmacological activities.

 Abstract

The article looks into the past and present, present perspectives, and future challenges of social work education in India. The obsolescence of teaching, fieldwork practicum, and proliferation of social work trainees at present reveals the many issues with the present curriculum. This study underlines and addresses social work education curricula and the quality aspects offered by various institutions in India. This study also highlights the perspectives of the present, the perception of professionals, and trainees, and its structure have faced many problems and challenges in India. There is a pros and cons of affecting social work education regarding the inability to translate theory into fieldwork practices at real ground practices.

 Abstract

Cardiovascular disease (CVD) patients are more susceptible to severe COVID-19. COVID-19 can cause CVD, including myocardial injury, arrhythmias, acute coronary syndrome and venous thromboembolism. COVID-19 infection also affects the inner surfaces of veins and arteries, which can cause blood vessel inflammation, damage to very small vessels and blood clots, all of which can compromise blood flow to the heart or other parts of the body. Several medications used for the treatment of COVID-19 have uncertain safety and efficacy profiles. Aims and objectives: The study aim to assess the effectiveness of workshop regarding Long Term Cardiovascular Outcomes of COVID- 19, among nursing students, to assess the knowledge regarding Long Term Cardiovascular Outcomes of COVID-19 among nursing students and to determine the relationship between knowledge regarding Long Term Cardiovascular Outcomes of COVID-19 with their selected demographic variables. Methodology: Pre -experimental pre-test and post-test research design was used to collect data from nursing students. Total 140 nursing students were enrolled into the study by using random sampling technique. The structured knowledge questionnaire used to assess the knowledge regarding long term cardiovascular outcomes of COVID-19 before and after workshop. Result: The mean percent knowledge was 77.81% and has a difference observed was 40.48% after workshop. It was found there is no significance association between knowledge regarding Long Term Cardiovascular Outcomes of COVID-19 with their selected socio demographic variables. Conclusion: It was concluded that workshop regarding Long Term Cardiovascular Outcomes of COVID-19 increasing the knowledge of nursing students. This knowledge will help them to improve the practice of providing care to the cardiac patients.

 Abstract

Everyone can communicate effectively with hand gestures. Hand gesture recognition, as opposed to the traditional text-based or GUI-based method, can be viewed as a means for computers to better comprehend human body language, resulting in a fuller interaction between humans and computers. Hand gestures can simplify work by sending orders to the computer using simple hand movements. The camera captures the movements, the computer interprets them, and suitable action is conducted in response to the gesture. This project is built on sign language translation, which captures hand movements and converts them into commands that the computer can comprehend and give the output as audio and text format and do relevant tasks. In this project, we first use a camera to capture the gesture. The collected picture is then pre-processed for feature extraction, and a convolutional neural network is implemented to successfully detect motions and train the machine.

 Abstract

Pre-menstrual syndrome is a disorder that most young females deal with frequently. Symptoms though mild but substantially affect quality of living in females. Fluctuations in gonadal hormones triggers the symptoms embarking a spectrum of mood and behavioural symptoms. The efficacy of various pharmacotherapeutic measures in relieving symptoms have been investigated earlier, evidence of which is available in literature. The aim of this study is to see the efficacy of aerobic exercise on physical activity in under graduating females suffering from premenstrual syndrome.

 Abstract

most important issues in society. The widespread use of technology in the healthcare industry has led to the growth of electronic data. With vast amounts of data, physicians face the challenge of accurately analyzing symptoms and recognizing disease early. However, supervised machine learning (ML) algorithms have helped medical professionals predict high-risk diseases early. A disease is a specific abnormal condition that adversely affects the structure or function of living organisms. It is very important to know early if you have the disease instead of discovering it later. In this way, a disease prediction system that predicts disease from symptoms plays an important role. The disease prediction system uses a machine learning algorithm called XG-Boost. In doing so, it predicts different kinds of diseases. Each disease presents a person with different signs and symptoms. This paper reviews various models based on such algorithms and techniques and analyzes their performance Models based on supervised learning algorithms such as Support Vector Machines, Gradient Boosting Classifier, Logistic regression, K- Nearest Neighbors (KNN), Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), Naive Bayes, Decision Tree, and Random Forest are found very popular among the researches.

 Abstract

'Alienation' and 'belonging' are less explored themes in the novels of James Welch and this paper aims to investigate the same in his novel Fools Crow. As advocated by Lewis Feuer: "the word 'alienation' is used to describe the subjective tone of self-destructive experience". He further states: "Alienation is used to convey the emotional tone which accompanies any behavior in which the person is compelled to act self-destructively" (Feuer, Lewis 116-132). And another meaning of the term is recorded as "to make estranged, to estrange, or turn away the feelings or affections of any one, to convert into an alien or stranger, to make averse or hostile or unwelcome". Humans have a natural 'sense of belonging' and it is so crucial for survival that Maslow had placed it in his needs of hierarchy ahead of safety and psychological needs. Scholars like Hagerty, Lynch-Sauer, Patusky, Bouwsema and Collier (1992) have defined feeling of belonging as "the experience of personal involvement in a system or environment so that persons feel themselves to be an integral part of that system or environment" (Collier, 172). "For a sense of belonging to develop it is necessary that the individual experiences a fit, acceptance, or connection with people, groups, organizations or environments" (Hagerty et al, 1992).

 Abstract

Solubility enhancement is a difficult task in to the formulation scientist because 80 percent of the drug having the poor boiavaiblity. For the formulation of the dosage form it is necessary to enhance the solubility of the drug. There is various techniques to enhance the solubility of the hydrophobic drugs such as kneading method, hot melt extrusion and solid dispersion. In this research work by using the solid dispersion method to enhance the solubility of rosuvastatin and convert in to the fixed dose of tablet formulation and its evaluation parameters formulation batches are to be design F1,F2,F3,F4,F5. Calibration curve are to be prepared or rosuvastatin pure form and scan at the lambda max 244 ?max. And obtain the r2 value 0.999 Formulation F5 shows better results and full fill all the parameter compare with the marketed formulation.
