Highway maintenance serves the primary purpose of providing a smooth and safe road surface for users at a minimal cost. However, paved roads in tropical and sub-tropical climates often suffer from different forms of deterioration compared to those in temperate regions, as harsh climatic conditions, inadequate design and quality control, high loads, and insufficient assessments contribute to failures. In the city of Bhopal, the JK road connecting Raisen Road to Minal Mall has a total length of 2 km, with approximately 55% of the road length in a state of failure. This study aims to investigate and classify the failure types of flexible pavements, identify their causes, and determine the most appropriate maintenance techniques. Common forms of flexible pavement failures include various types of cracks, potholes, raveling, water bleeding, corrugation, shoving depression, and rutting, which are gradually worsened by inadequate planning, inspection, and treatment. The possible reasons for flexible pavement failures include the use of improper bituminous mixes with low-quality materials, heavy traffic loads, heavy rainfall, and inadequate pavement drainage. To ensure the prolonged lifespan of road surfaces, proper maintenance is critical.

Sodium alginate beads are used extensively in the biomedical and pharmaceutical industries because of their adaptability to regulated drug delivery systems. An extensive examination of current developments in sodium alginate bead formulation and assessment methodologies is given in this review. There includes discussion of a number of formulation procedures, ranging from cutting-edge methods like microfluidics and 3D printing to more conventional approaches like ionotropic gelation. Furthermore, a thorough assessment is conducted of modern evaluation techniques that include physical, chemical, and biological characterization. The performance and usefulness of sodium alginate beads have been greatly improved by the incorporation of creative formulation strategies and exact evaluation procedures, opening the door for a wide range of uses in tissue engineering and drug administration.

Background: Agility training is crucial for enhancing physical and psychological well-being, particularly among individuals with disabilities such as hearing impairment. TheFITLIGHT system offers a novel approach to agility training, utilizing visual cues to improve reactive agility skills. Objective:This study aimed to investigate the effects of reactive agility drills using the FITLIGHT system on selected motor fitness (agility, balance, coordination) and psychological variables (attention and working memory) among students with hearing impairment. Methods: Repeated measures of designemployed with a sample of 30 students (mean age [14] years) diagnosed with varying degrees of hearing impairment. Participants underwent a structured agility training program using the FITLIGHT system over 6 weeks, with sessions conducted 3 times weekly. Motor fitness variables were assessed using standardized agility tests(Illinois Agility Test), balance (stork balance test), coordination (alternate hand wall toss) Psychological variablesattention and working memory (trail making test A and B). Data were analysed using Normality Test (Shapiro-Wilk Test), Homogeneity of Variance (Mauchly's Test) For comparing mean score of dependent variables within subject (one-way repeated measures of ANOVA) was used. Results: Summarize key findings related to motor fitness and psychological variables. Significant improvements were observed in motor fitness variables post-intervention, including agility (p < 0.05), speed (p < 0.05), and balance (p < 0.05). Psychological assessments revealed enhanced attention and working memory (p < 0.05) among participants following the agility training program. Conclusion: The findings suggest that reactive agility drills using the FITLIGHT system can effectively enhance both motor fitness and psychological variables among students with hearing impairment. Incorporating such technology-driven interventions into physical education and rehabilitation programs may contribute positively to the overall well-being and functional capabilities of individuals with sensory disabilities.

Abstract The rise of Financial Technology (FinTech) has significantly transformed the financial services landscape, presenting both opportunities and challenges for traditional banking institutions. This paper examines the impact of FinTech on traditional banking by exploring the evolution of financial services, the key areas of FinTech innovation, and the implications for banks in terms of competition, regulation, and customer experience. Through a comprehensive review of existing literature and industry reports, this paper highlights the ways in which FinTech is reshaping the banking industry and discusses strategies for traditional banks to adapt and thrive in this rapidly changing environment. FinTech innovations, such as digital payments, blockchain, peer-to-peer lending, and robo-advisors, are reshaping the financial landscape by enhancing accessibility, reducing costs, and increasing efficiency. Traditional banks, facing competition from agile FinTech startups, are compelled to adapt by adopting new technologies and collaborating with FinTech firms. This study explores the challenges and opportunities presented by FinTech, including regulatory implications, the need for cybersecurity, and the potential for financial inclusion. By analyzing current trends and case studies, the paper provides insights into how traditional banks can navigate the evolving financial ecosystem and leverage FinTech advancements to remain competitive.

Bank workers are the employees who are subjected to risk factors like long working hours, static posture, poor office ergonomics and repetitive nature of work leading to pain and discomfort. Approximately 40.4% of bankers reported of mechanical low back pain in various studies conducted. Thus, to study the effect of kitchen table exercise program on pain, strength and range of motion Bank workers with chronic mechanical low back pain is essential for the well-being and to reduce discomfort in them. The subjects were selected according to the inclusion criteria and divided into two groups. Pre-test and post-test assessment was done in which Visual Analogue Scale was used for pain, goniometer for range of motion and stabilizer pressure biofeedback for strength were used. The study was conducted on 62 subjects in two groups where Group A was given Kitchen table exercise program and Group B was given conventional exercises for 12 weeks each. Both groups showed significant improvement in pain, range of motion and strength but group A showed more improvement than group B. This study concludes that there was a significant reduction in pain and significant increase in range of motion and strength in bank workers with chronic mechanical low back pain.

Fixed point theorems and contraction mappings are essential components of mathematical analysis with significant theoretical and practical applications. This study delves into the fundamental concepts of fixed points and contraction mappings, exploring their mathematical properties, proof techniques, and diverse applications. We begin with a comprehensive review of classical fixed point theorems, including the Banach, Brouwer, and Schauder theorems, highlighting their unique properties and implications. The theoretical analysis is complemented by rigorous proofs and the formulation of new theorems that extend existing results to broader contexts. Our methodology includes the development of iterative algorithms based on contraction mappings, which are implemented and tested through computational experiments. We perform convergence and error analysis to evaluate the efficiency and robustness of these algorithms. Practical applications are explored in various fields such as differential equations, optimization, economics, and computer science, demonstrating the versatility and utility of fixed point theorems. The data analysis phase involves both theoretical exploration and computational validation, using statistical and graphical methods to interpret the results. Case studies on solving differential equations and optimization problems illustrate the practical impact of fixed point methods. The findings are documented and presented through detailed visualizations and comparative analyses, providing a clear understanding of the efficiency and applicability of the developed algorithms. This study not only advances the theoretical framework of fixed point theorems and contraction mappings but also provides powerful tools for solving real-world problems, emphasizing the importance of these concepts in both mathematical research and practical applications.
