The pilot introduction of the Reserve Bank of India's Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC), or Digital Rupee, is a significant turning point in India's monetary environment. This research paper analyzes public attitude, confidence levels, and future patterns of usage of the Digital Rupee in Dakshina Kannada, a semi-urban district. With the help of standard questionnaires given to 120 respondents, the research explores awareness, trust determinants, perceived advantages, and future risks linked with the adoption of CBDC. Conclusions present a mixed but positive public attitude, and fears of cybersecurity, privacy, and technical literacy as the adoption impediments. The study concludes with policy recommendations to improve trust and narrow the digital divide.

This study examines the contemporary Indian films NH10 (2015) and Stolen (2023) as exemplars of neo-noir cinema that successfully blend realism with genre conventions to create a distinctly Indian cinematic aesthetic. Through comparative analysis of visual style, narrative structure, and thematic content, this research demonstrates how both films employ neo-noir elements--including moral ambiguity, urban decay, and anti-heroic protagonists--while incorporating realistic portrayals of Indian social issues. The paper argues that these films represent a significant evolution in Indian cinema, where genre blending serves not merely as stylistic experimentation but as a means of addressing contemporary socio-political concerns through cinematic language that resonates with both domestic and international audiences.

This study aimed to determine the oral reading miscues produced by the selected Grade 7 students whose reading level is at the frustration level as well as to determine the causes of these reading miscues. The study also aimed to propose an intervention plan that could address their reading miscues. To answer the problems put forward in the study the concurrent triangulation design was used. Based on the oral reading analysis conducted, among 100 students, a total of 6,088 miscues were committed. These consisted of 1,435 mispronunciations, 1,038 omissions of words, 1,005 substitutions, 582 repetitions, 552 unfamiliar words, 468 self-corrections, 445 reversals, 292 insertions, and 271 omission of punctuations. The most commonly produced miscue was mispronunciation whereas, the least produced miscue was omission of punctuation. Meanwhile, in determining the causes of the reading miscues produced by the participants, the result showed that the causes that made them encounter difficulty in reading were lack of confidence, shyness and nervousness.

The present study assessed psychological distress and health-related quality of life among patients with Chronic Liver Diseases. The objective of the study was to assess psychological distress and health-related quality of life among patients with CLD. The conceptual framework of the study is based on Roy's Adaptation Model. A non-experimental descriptive survey design was used for the study. 100 patients attending the liver clinic of KIMS hospital, TVM, and who satisfied the inclusion criteria were selected by consecutive sampling. A Structured Interview schedule was used to collect data regarding socio-personal variables and clinical variables. Psychological distress was assessed by the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) and Health-Related Quality of Life (HRQoL) by the Chronic Liver Disease Questionnaire (CLDQ). After data collection, individualised teaching on measures to improve quality of life and to decrease psychological distress was given with an information pamphlet. Data were analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The findings show that 20 % had abnormal anxiety and 25% had borderline abnormal anxiety. 6 % had abnormal depression, and 37% had borderline abnormal depression. 64% of patients had good overall HRQoL, whereas 75% had poor HRQoL in the domain of activity; 71% had poor HRQoL in the fatigue domain; 42% had poor HRQoL in emotional function. The study's r value shows a statistically significant negative correlation (p<0.05, p<0.01) between psychological distress and HRQoL in various domains except for abdominal symptoms and systemic symptoms. There is a statistically significant association between anxiety with severity of illness, complications, and depression with the severity of illness, also there is a statistically significant association between HRQoL with age, severity of illness, duration of disease, and complications in various domains. The study findings concluded that low-level psychological distress enables patients with CLD to maintain a higher HRQoL.

This study investigates the integration of technology in classroom teaching among secondary school teachers using the Technology Integration Scale (TIS) as the assessment tool. The target population consisted of secondary school teachers, from which a sample of 32 was collected out of 96. The study aims to assess how proficient secondary school teachers are in utilizing technology and how their technological skills impact effective teaching practices. It also evaluates gender-based differences in technological readiness, institutional support differences between government-aided and private schools, discipline-specific trends across Arts and Science streams, and the influence of geographical context on technology use. The findings reveal that most teachers have a positive perception of technology integration and above-average confidence in its use. Female teachers show a higher tendency to adopt technology than male teachers. There is no visible difference in technology integration between government-aided and private school teachers, or between C.B.S.E. and U.P. board-affiliated teachers. However, teachers from urban areas exhibit higher levels of technology usage compared to their rural counterparts, who also face greater challenges in implementation.

This study focuses on developing absorbable dressing materials impregnated with natural gums and pharmaceutical excipients to enhance wound healing. The combination of natural gums and excipients promotes a conducive environment for tissue repair and regeneration, potentially improving wound healing outcomes. The dressing materials are designed to provide a moist environment, manage exudates, and promote healing. This innovative approach may offer a promising solution for wound care. Absorbable dressing materials impregnated with natural gums and pharmaceutical excipients are being developed to improve wound healing to investigated the use of electrospun nanofibers made from poly(?-caprolactone) (PCL) and gum Tragacanth (GT), impregnated with Gum Tragacanth, Poly(caprolactone), Curcumin, Gum tragacanth, a natural gum. for wound healing in rats. The nanofibers showed antibacterial properties and significantly accelerated wound closure, with enhanced granulation tissue, fibroblast proliferation, collagen deposition, and early epithelial regeneration compared to untreated controls.
