In India, all the States have the same pattern of Government as the Centre. According to Indian Constitution, there shall be a Governor of each State. The Governors exist in the States, while Lieutenant Governors and administrators exist in Union Territories. A Governor acts as Constitutional Head of the State and takes all his/her decisions based on the advice of Chief Minister and his/ her Council of Ministers. Governor is appointed by the President of India by a warrant under his hand and seal, on the recommendations of the Union Council of Ministers. Governor acts as bridge between the Union and Centre. He reports fortnightly, on the affairs of the State. His usual term of office is five years but he holds office during the pleasure of the President. The Governor's powers and functions have become controversy in the recent times. The recent controversies surrounding the Office of Governor and the emerging issues are avoidable and unnecessary. Such controversies and emerging issues malign the dignity of the high Constitutional Office. The Union and State Governments should abide by the spirit of the Constitution as well as the Supreme Court's Judgments in this regard. The implementation of recommendations of various Commissions can ensure that such needless controversies do not arise in future. The Governors should also act according to their Constitutional mandate, rather than acting as political agents. An active but unbiased Office of Governor can strengthen the Union State relationship and the federal structure. This paper deals with the appointment, powers and functions of the institution of Governor, as well as the anomalies and emerging issues surrounding the powers vested in them in the matters of their role and granting assent to the Bills passed by the State Legislature, Judicial powers.

This study explores the perceptions of employees regarding sustainable employee practices and their impact on brand loyalty in textile industries, particularly in Tirupur. As sustainability becomes a core pillar in organizational strategy, understanding employee responses to sustainable HR practices is crucial. This research evaluates how practices like work-life balance, recognition, and career development affect employee retention and brand commitment. A structured questionnaire was used to collect responses from 120 employees, with analysis done through percentage, rank analysis, ANOVA, t-test, and Chi-square tests. Findings show that competitive salary, flexible schedules, and appreciation contribute greatly to retention, while excessive workloads and poor communication contribute to employee stress. The study provides insights for improving workplace culture and brand loyalty through sustainability.

Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) is used in many signal and image processing tasks that need high-speed computation. FPGAs are good options for this because they offer fast performance at a low cost. However, programming them is often complex and requires detailed hardware knowledge. This paper presents an easy-to-use framework for implementing 1-D and 2-D FFTs on FPGAs for real-time applications. The results show that the 2-D FFT runs faster when parallel processing is used, even for large data sizes. A flexible FPGA-based setup is also developed for image filtering in the frequency domain.

This study investigates the attitude of passengers towards Pink Taxi services in Coimbatore City, with a particular focus on the social and psychological factors influencing their preferences. Traditional transportation studies often assume that passengers make travel choices purely based on cost, convenience, and availability. However, real-world behavior frequently deviates from this assumption due to concerns related to safety, gender sensitivity, cultural acceptance, and emotional comfort. This research emphasizes the influence of personal security perceptions, social awareness, cultural norms, and media portrayal in shaping passengers' attitudes toward women-only taxi services like Pink Taxi. Safety concerns, especially among women passengers, are a primary driver of preference for such services, with family influence and peer recommendations also playing a significant role. Cultural values, particularly in regions with traditional mindsets, affect the acceptance and popularity of gender-specific transport. Additionally, media representation of gender-based violence and public campaigns for women's safety can significantly impact awareness and demand. The study utilizes primary data collected from 155 respondents through structured questionnaires and applies tools like percentage analysis, Likert scale, and chi-square tests to analyze the findings. It concludes that emotional and social considerations often take precedence over economic reasoning in the acceptance of Pink Taxi services. The research highlights the need to recognize these behavioral drivers to enhance gender-sensitive transportation policies and promote safer commuting options. While the study is limited to the Coimbatore district and based on convenience sampling, its insights offer valuable implications for transport providers, urban planners, and policymakers aiming to improve inclusive mobility systems.

This study presents a comprehensive competitive analysis of Ellen Pumps, a mid-sized pump manufacturing company, within the industrial pump market. The research evaluates the company's strengths, weaknesses, market positioning, and strategic advantages relative to major competitors like Grundfos, Flowserve, and Xylem. Employing tools such as SWOT analysis, ANOVA, chi-square testing, and rank analysis, the study examines customer satisfaction and demographic influences on purchasing behavior. Findings suggest that while Ellen Pumps has strengths in innovation, customization, and customer service, it must address challenges like limited global reach and pricing perceptions. The research also explores how digital technologies (IoT, AI), sustainability trends, and smart solutions impact competitiveness. Strategic recommendations are offered to enhance Ellen Pumps' market position, customer engagement, and long-term growth.

This study investigates the psychological, criminological, and socio-economic causes of repeated juvenile offenses and evaluates the effectiveness of current preventive and rehabilitative strategies. Drawing from primary data collected through interviews and observations at juvenile institutions and secondary data such as NCRB reports, this empirical research applies statistical methods to analyze trends in reoffending. It explores the contrasting models of rehabilitation and punishment, and further conducts a comparative analysis of recidivism prevention practices in countries like Norway, Japan, Brazil, and the U.S. The study also critically examines the provisions of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015, and the role of Juvenile Justice Boards in addressing repeat offenses. It also studies about whether the inadequate post-release support, poor family environments, lack of education, or social stigma significantly contribute to recidivism. This paper highlights the urgent need for a child-centered justice system that balances accountability with compassion and social reintegration.

Labor pain is a significant challenge during childbirth, particularly for primigravida mothers. This study evaluates the effectiveness of Lamaze breathing techniques as a non-pharmacological method to reduce labor pain during the first stage of labor. A true experimental research design was employed, involving 60 primigravida mothers admitted to a selected district hospital in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. Participants were randomly assigned to an experimental group, which received training and support in Lamaze breathing techniques, and a control group, which received standard care. Pain intensity was assessed using the Wong-Baker FACES Pain Scale before and after the intervention. The findings indicated a statistically significant reduction in post-test pain scores among the experimental group compared to the control group. The study also analyzed associations between pain levels and demographic variables. Results support the efficacy of Lamaze breathing in reducing labor pain, offering a safe, cost-effective, and empowering alternative to pharmacological interventions. This research contributes valuable insights for integrating non-invasive pain management techniques into maternal healthcare practices.
