ABSTRACT Rice is one of the most important crops in the world, feeding more than half of the global population. However, rice plants are highly vulnerable to diseases, and if these are not detected early, they can lead to serious crop losses. Traditionally, farmers identify diseases by visually inspecting leaves, but this process can be slow, inconsistent, and error-prone--especially in the early stages. To solve this problem, this work presents an automated and efficient system for detecting rice leaf diseases using deep learning. The model is built using a lightweight Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), specifically MobileNetV2, which is known for its speed and low computational requirements. The system is trained on a dataset containing three common rice diseases: Narrow Brown Spot, False Smut, and Leaf Smut. To improve performance, image preprocessing and data augmentation techniques are applied, allowing the model to handle variations in lighting, orientation, and background. In addition to predicting the disease, the system also provides treatment suggestions, making it more useful as a practical tool for farmers. The model achieves an accuracy of around 75-80%, with good precision, recall, and F1-score. Due to its lightweight design, it can run efficiently on devices with limited resources, such as smartphones. A simple web interface is also developed, enabling users to upload images and receive instant results. Overall, this system provides a fast, scalable, and practical solution for crop disease detection and has the potential to be extended to more diseases and real-time agricultural applications..

The present study aimed to formulate and evaluate a polyherbal dusting powder as a topical antimicrobial agent for the management of minor skin infections and moisture-related skin conditions. The formulation was prepared using natural and pharmaceutical ingredients including talc, kaolin, starch, magnesium stearate, almond oil, and clove oil. Clove oil was incorporated for its potent antimicrobial and antifungal activity, while almond oil acted as an emollient and skin-conditioning agent. The dusting powder was prepared by simple mixing and trituration method followed by sieving to obtain a fine and uniform formulation. The prepared formulation was evaluated for organoleptic properties, pH, particle size, abrasiveness, bulk density, tapped density, angle of repose, Carr's index, Hausner ratio, moisture content, and antimicrobial activity using bread slices. The formulation showed satisfactory organoleptic characteristics with a smooth texture, pleasant odor, and non-gritty nature. The pH was found suitable for topical application. Antimicrobial studies demonstrated inhibition of microbial growth in the treated sample compared to the control, indicating effective antimicrobial activity. The study concluded that the formulated polyherbal dusting powder possesses good topical properties and promising antimicrobial potential, making it a safe, economical, and effective herbal formulation for topical use.

Jewellery retail showrooms in the contemporary world, specifically in 2025, are significantly influenced by the fusion of sustainability, minimalism, and technological incorporation to improve spatial experience and business performance. The purpose of this research paper is to create an integrated design framework that incorporates all three key elements to improve the planning and execution of Jewellery retail showrooms. The study highlights the importance of integrating sustainable design, such as recycled materials, green lighting systems, and modular display systems, to improve spatial experience and business performance. The importance of integrating minimalistic design principles to create an uncluttered spatial experience is also discussed. Additionally, the incorporation of modern technologies, such as digital interfaces, smart security systems, and interactive display systems, is discussed to improve spatial experience and business performance. The study evaluates various strategies to create an optimized spatial experience, improve sustainability, and enhance business performance. The results of this study show that an eco-minimalistic approach to designing Jewellery retail showrooms, with the incorporation of modern technologies, can improve spatial experience, sustainability, and business performance. This paper contributes to the field of interior design and retail design by providing an approach to create future-ready Jewellery retail showrooms.

The piston in an internal combustion (IC) engine is subjected to several forces before transmitting power to the crankshaft. The main objective of this study is to analyze the stress distribution and deformation of a diesel-CNG dual-fuel engine piston when exposed to the gas pressure generated during combustion. An aluminum alloy piston was selected for the analysis, and suitable design parameters were assumed to develop the piston geometry. The stress and deformation caused by the maximum combustion pressure were analyzed using FEA-based software. The boundary conditions considered different peak combustion pressures corresponding to various CNG substitution rates acting on the piston. The results reveal that the piston crown experiences the highest deformation, with a maximum value of 0.075 mm, while the maximum Equivalent [von-Mises] Stress is found to be approximately 300 MPa, when tested with zero CNG substitution and pure diesel used and the lowest deformation of 00.062mm at 80% CNG substitution rate with maximum Equivalent [von-Mises] Stress is found to be approximately 240 MPa.

Since it uses industrial byproducts, geopolymer concrete (GPC) has been studied as a sustainable construction material option that can reduce CO2 emissions. Studies done in the past on GPC demonstrate that it may be used structurally, has a workable slump, and has a similar strength grade to regular Portland cement concrete. In order to identify and present the most recent data and information on geopolymer concrete, this study has examined the mix design, mechanical properties, durability, and microstructure of GPC. An increased focus on energy efficiency and environmental protection has prompted research into alternate building materials. Reducing greenhouse gas emissions and lowering the amount of energy needed for material production are two important objectives for such investigations. Concrete is used more than water anywhere in the world. Traditionally, the main binder for creating concrete has been ordinary Portland Cement (OPC). At least 5 to 7 percent of CO2 produced worldwide comes from the manufacturing of cement. The proper disposal of fly ash, a hazardous waste product created by thermal power plants through combustion, is another significant environmental issue. This study gives details about the experimental investigation of geopolymer concrete. It shows that some parameter where fixed and the two parameter such as water to binder ratio and zones of sand was varied and from that the one having max compressive strength parameter were fixed. After fixing the parameters durability test of on geopolymer concrete of rapid chlorine penetration test and acid attack test was conducted and at last XRD test was conducted to known the microstructural investigation on geopolymer concrete. The mix design, mechanical characteristics, durability, and microstructure of GPC have all been studied in this study.

Fungal infections are a common health concern affecting skin and mucosal surfaces, often leading to discomfort and secondary complications. The increasing resistance to synthetic antifungal agents and their associated side effects have created a need for safer and more effective alternatives. Herbal medicines, due to their natural origin, biocompatibility, and minimal adverse effects, are gaining attention in the field of pharmaceutical research. The present study aims to formulate and evaluate a herbal antifungal spray using extracts of guava (Psidium guajava) and neem (Azadirachta indica) leaves, both known for their potent antimicrobial and antifungal properties. The plant materials were collected, dried, and subjected to extraction using a suitable solvent system. The obtained extracts were incorporated into a spray formulation along with appropriate excipients such as solvents, preservatives, and stabilizers. The formulated spray was evaluated for various physicochemical parameters including pH, viscosity, drying time, and stability. The antifungal activity was assessed using standard microbiological methods against common fungal strains. The results demonstrated that the formulation exhibited significant antifungal activity and acceptable physicochemical properties

This project presents a Smart Electric Vehicle (EV) Battery Management System (BMS) integrated with renewable energy sources and Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) functionality. The system monitors battery parameters such as voltage, current, and temperature in real time to ensure safe operation. Renewable sources like solar and wind are used for charging, with proper voltage regulation using power conditioning circuits. Active cell balancing is implemented to maintain uniform cell voltage and improve battery life. The system also enables backup power supply to home loads through V2H operation. Overall, the proposed system enhances battery safety, efficiency, and energy utilization.
