his paper describes the classification of a subset of printed or digitized Gujarati characters. Gujarati belongs to the genre of Devanagari scripts from the Indian subcontinent. Very little work is found in the literature for recognition of Indian language scripts. For this paper a subset of similar appearing Gujarati characters was chosen and subjected to classification by different classifiers. The sample and test images for the characters were obtained from digital images available on the Internet and from scanned images of printed Gujarati text. For their classification, the Euclidean Minimum Distance and the kNearest Neighbor classifiers were used with regular and invariant moments. The characters were also classified in the binary feature space using Hamming Distance classifier. The pa- per presents the recognition rates for these classifiers. A recognition rate is achieved. The work described in this paper is preliminary; however, since ICDAR99 is being held in India, we hope that this would be of interest to the participants.

This study dealt with the study of different types of high school management such as Government school, Private School, Adhoc-aided School and Deficit School of Aizawl City in terms of their students home adjustment, health adjustment, social adjustment and emotional adjustment. The researcher adopted descriptive research method where Bells Adjustment Inventory (BAI- o) developed by Dr. R.K.Ojha (2011) published by National Psychological Corporation, 4/230, Kacheri Ghat, Agra was used as a tool for this study. The population included all class IX students in the high school of Aizawl and the sample consisted of one(1) high school each from Deficit and Ad-Hoc, two(2) High School from Government and five(5) High School from Private management. The selection was done by using stratified random sampling process. The findings revealed that n the area of Home, Health and Social adjustment, Private schools showed the best adjustment. However, the emotional adjustments of different school management systems are very poor and they all fall in the category of very unsatisfactory. Discussions were also presented in the light of the findings.

ABSTRACT: Concrete is strong in compression but weak in tension and brittle also. Cracks also start forming as soon as the concrete is placed. These 3 drawbacks dont permit the use normal concrete in pavements as they lead to lack of ductility along with fracture and failure. These weaknesses in concrete can be mitigated by using fibers as reinforcement in the concrete mix. Waste materials in the form of polyethylene and tires cause environmental pollution which leads to various health problems. Polyethylene and waste tires can be recycled and used effectively in the concrete as reinforcement in the fiber form. Polyethylene is a synthetic hydrocarbon polymer which can improve the ductility, strength, shrinkage characteristics etc. This research deals with the effects of addition of polyethylene fiber on the properties of concrete. Polyethylene and tire fibers were cut into the size of 30mm x 6mm and they were used 1.5% each by volume. Grade of concrete used were M30, M35 and M40. IRC 44:2008 was followed for the design of concrete mix. In this study, the results of the Strength properties of Polyethylene fiber reinforced concrete have been presented. 4 point bending test and double shear test were performed in the laboratory for flexure and shear strength determinations. There was seen an increase of 18% in the 28 day compressive strength along with an increase of 39% in flexure and 32% in shear strength. 22% decrease in 4 point bending test and 36% decrease in double shear test in deflection was found out from the experiments. Theoretical analysis of deflection was carried out by the help of energy methods. Practical values were verified with the theoretical values within the permissible limits. Finally it can be concluded that polyethylene and tire can be used effectively in reinforced cement concrete.

This article aims to give the current scenario of Indian commercial banks. It plays a essential part in the national development. In our economy there are lot of ups and downs in recent times. The banking system forms origin of the money management of any economy. The assimilation of 14 big banks in 1969 and another 6 banks in 1980 and implementation of reforms, appear a change in class and mass banking, traditional banking to e-banking to more profitable, efficient and sound banking system. However, especially the defenseless groups, like as lower category and lower groups of income, carry forward and to go on expected from even the most important services and also some opportunities provided by the financial sector. To issue of such financial exclusion in a holistic manner, it is essential to know about the services given by banks is available to every individual. A important part is being carry on by monetary policy for full betterment across the global to renew monetarily eliminate community and that is counted as 2.5 billion, of which, one third is populated in India. Financial inclusion is taken from the initiatives of United Nations, which extensively reported the important goals of the policy as access to deep limits of economic services to all at an affordable cost, which started its operation efficiently in India in the year 2015.

By means of a distinguished approach of credit granting, microcredit programs stand out as a socioeconomic alternative for social insertion and fighting against poverty. In this context, a factor that has gained prominence is the female participation in these programs and it indicates that there is a lower level of default among women. In other words, women are naturally better credit risks than men in microcredit. Flourishing evidence reveals that women are more possibly to repay security-free microfinance than men. The aim of this research was to evaluate the relationship between gender and amounts which were granted in microcredit operations. We speculate that better recompense performance of women microloan grantors can largely be explained by gender differences in intimate reliability.

Noise pollution is increasing in the daily life with the urbanization of the society. It has a big impact on the society disturbing mental peace and affecting the health of the society. The government is taking actions to reduce noise pollution. The objective is to help the government reach the goal by highlighting areas where noise pollution is high. The goal is to explore a simpler way to measure and calculate noise levels and display it easily on a heat map. The proposed system includes development of an android application which runs in the background and repetitively records audio snippets, measures the noise level of the audio snippet and uploads it to a server. There it is processed and displayed on a heat map. This map makes easier for the government bodies and the users to locate the noisy areas in the cities and do proper city planning and take proper actions to reduce noise pollution.

The rate of people reading the books, newspaper etc... Are reducing day by day. Lack of time and lack of patience are the two main reasons behind it. Our project finds a remedy for this situation. The aim our project is reduces any contents which is given and automatically finds its summary and tells the whole summary of that content. The summary can be speak out using Text to Speech application and also it will be sent to cloud. Like this any number of contents can be summarized and can be further summarized if they are almost similar contents and find the resultant summary.

Bapsi Sidhwa recipient of many prestigious national and international awards is a woman author of great renown in the Asia. Through her novel Ice Candy Man she tries to portray the life with her artistic neutrality during the period of partition of Indian in 1947. Bapsi Sidhwa through her female protagonist Lenny Sethi, disabled four years girl attempts to change the impression of disability in society describing the adventurous four years journey of the protagonist in the present novel showing her concern on pitiable condition of women in the days of the partition along as well as socio-political issues too. When we go back to have a look on the disabled characters portrayed in the works of Indian English or Hindi writers , it reflects the negative portrayal of characters with zero contribution in making society integrated. But in Ice Candy Man the novelist projects the observation and speculation of a disabled girl who belongs to Parsee community in Lahore and does not make any discrimination among people on the basis of caste, creed, religion, community etc. Above all she keeps the religion of humanism on top. Lenny Sethi is Parsee (minority community) but lives with her Ayah Shanta, Hindu Girls and Imamdin, her cook (Muslin) happily. She shows there was communal harmony before the Partition days but communal riots make the people change. Now love and trust disappeared leaving the place to hatred jealousy and vnegeance which give birth to a new society replete with atrocities on the women, abductions, mutilations, and rapes on innocent women and girls which brings disaster in lives of Indian. Even in such horrible situation Lenny Sethi is seen seeking the way to get out of Hira Mandi of Pakistan. While Lenny Sethi herself is confined to place and depend on other for her needs, she still thinks about people and successfully attempts to save the life of Shanta with the help of her godmother. Her neutral outlook and vision towards life make us realize disability is not to be segregated from society but should be assimilated to. Disability is not disqualification it is just show the lack of work capacity of a particular organ. This way disability should be treated.

This experiment, comparison analysis of micro structural properties, and grain size of Pure Al (powder), 95%AL + 5% B4C and 90%AL + 10% B4C (With ECAP method & stir casting) are determined. Based on the micro structural analysis using SEM, the particle distributions of AL- B4C were analysed. The powdered sample were fabricated using equal channel angular pressing (ECAP) and stir casting process. When observed using SEM it was found that the particle distribution homogeneity increased as the number of passes increased from one to four. The factors such as Temperature, number of passes are to be considered in the development of grain structure and refinement. The results show that: the amount of shear strain and the mobility of metal matrix have the most important influence to the uniform distribution of particles Al? B4C. In this work, the mixtures of B4C particles and Al powders were fabricated into sever plastic deformation using ECAP and stir casting. And the effects of different ratios, positions and deformation stages on the distribution of B4C particles were investigated.
