This review manuscript examines the protective effects of corn silk extract (Zea mays) against lithium carbonate-induced renal toxicity in rats. Lithium carbonate, widely utilized as a mood stabilizer for bipolar disorder, has been associated with significant renal damage, manifesting as lithium-induced nephropathy. The review highlights the complex mechanisms underlying lithium nephrotoxicity, including oxidative stress, inflammation, and alterations in renal fluid balance, leading to chronic kidney disease. Given the potential adverse effects of long-term lithium use, there is an increasing interest in natural compounds that can mitigate these renal injuries. Corn silk, known for its diuretic, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties, has shown promise in reducing kidney damage caused by nephrotoxic agents. The manuscript synthesizes existing research on the biochemical, histopathological, and molecular effects of corn silk extract, emphasizing its potential as a renoprotective agent. The findings suggest that corn silk extract could serve as a complementary treatment to reduce the risk of renal damage in patients undergoing prolonged lithium therapy. However, further clinical studies are required to validate its efficacy and safety in humans, as well as to explore optimal dosages and interactions with other nephrotoxic drugs. This review underscores the importance of investigating natural remedies in the context of pharmaceutical treatments, especially for vulnerable populations reliant on long-term medication.

Empathy is very important in psychiatric nursing, greatly affecting how patients are cared for. The complicated nature of mental health issues means nursing students need to understand their patients' experiences well. Studies show that learning through experiences, like simulations that let students step into the shoes of those with personality disorders, can greatly improve empathy in nursing students. This method not only reduces stigma but also helps students better understand the feelings and thoughts of patients, leading to better interactions and support. Furthermore, research indicates that psychiatric nursing is centered on building therapeutic relationships, promoting patient involvement, and ensuring a safe care environment. Therefore, developing empathy in nursing education is crucial, as it improves the care patients receive and enhances their overall treatment experiences in psychiatric environments. The views and caring traits of nursing students are very important for patient care results, especially in psychiatric nursing. This review shows that good attitudes create a supportive atmosphere that improves patient involvement and aids in healing, while empathy helps nursing students relate to patients by understanding their feelings and experiences. The empathy filled bond builds trust and encourages a complete approach to care, which is crucial in mental health settings. The connection between a nurse's outlook and their capacity to provide caring support influences not just patients' immediate welfare but also their ongoing mental health outcomes. Thus, it is essential for nursing schools to focus on developing both positive attitudes and caring abilities, so future nurses can effectively address the complicated emotional and psychological needs of their patients.

ABSTRACT "Liberty cannot be preserved without a general knowledge among the people, who have a right and a desire to know" --John Adams In today's world we live in Democracy which is considered the best governance system because of its qualities like Transparency, Rights, Liberty, and the right to elect their own leader by themselves this process is called election. This process has to be transparent and corruption free because this process is the sole spirit of democracy but in contemporary times we have come across the recent ruling of Honorable Supreme Court of India in which the electoral bonds were declared unconstitutional on the ground that they are curbing the right of people to know and it is also working as a handy man to help black money to get to political parties without disclosing their identities to the people of India this is increasing the impurities in the sole spirit of Democracy: the election. This paper examines the perspective of The Supreme court, The Ruling Party, and the Opposition Party. It highlights the noteworthiness of the topic by emphasizing how the court upheld democratic principle of transparency against potential abuse of anonymous political funding.

India has witnessed major reforms in taxation since 1991. Introduction of VAT was a major breakthrough in the reforms of indirect taxes in India. But both CENVAT and VAT also have shortcomings. The Goods and Service Tax (GST) is one of the biggest taxation reforms in India, the decision on which is pending in Parliament since March 2011. The central idea behind this form of taxation is to replace existing levies like value-added tax, excise duty, service tax, and sales tax by levying a comprehensive tax on the manufacture, sale and consumption of goods and services in the country. GST is expected to unite the country economically as it will remove various forms of taxes that are currently levied at different points. The present paper attempts to highlight the major implications of the introduction of GST in India. The study, based on secondary data, highlights the impact of GST on micro and macro level of the economy. It is suggested that GST need to be implemented at the earliest to reap the benefit of it.

Financial inclusion and access to credit serve as crucial and motivational factors in empowering tribal women and fostering entrepreneurship. Nevertheless, despite numerous policy efforts, many tribal women continue to face obstacles in accessing formal credit due to limited financial literacy, inadequate banking facilities, and various socio- cultural challenges. This paper explores the role of microfinance, self-help groups (SHGs), cooperative banks, and government-supported credit schemes in creating entrepreneurial opportunities. The findings established that advancement in financial services such as digital banking, microcredits initiatives, and targeted financial literacy contribute to the sustainability of business enterprises and income generation. Mentorship, social support networks, and market connections significantly bolster the tribal women's enterprises. The study identifies the need for more inclusive financial products that address their specific needs, and it posits that the nexus of policymakers, financial institutions, and non-governmental organizations is essential. Financial inclusion, therefore, aims at addressing financial inequalities and ensuring equitable access to credit, which acts as a catalyst for social and economic transformation, thus advancing gender-responsive development within tribal communities.
