A collaborative replenishment policy in an inventory system between the venders and the customers is most important. In the present paper, we deal with an replenishment policy of an inventory model for deteriorating with stochastic demand in which shortages are allowed with fully backlogged. Here deteriorating items with lifetime is followed an additive exponential distribution. The demand pattern is assumed to be linearly dependent on to time with a stochastic error. The model is minimized to the total average cost by finding optimal values. The developed model is illustrated by a numerical example and lastly the sensitivity analysis of the optimal solutions towards the changes in the values of key parameters has been presented.

This study is focused on analysing the various factor that are responsible for fluctuations in gold price over the period of five years (1st of January 2019 to 31st of December 2023).Here gold price is considered to be the dependent variable and factors effecting considered individually, as independent variable which include crude oil price per barrel in the international market, forex (USD-INR), the average closing value of BSE SENSEX, GST rates, Gold tariff, Inflation rates and Repo rates taken in context of Indian economy and market. The factor taken into consideration are analysed in respect of gold price using descriptive statistics to know the variance between values, corelation to know nature of relationship and multiple linear regression analysis to the depth of relationship between the dependent and independent variables. The study will help understand how the considered variable brings forth changes in gold prices over time-being. The study will also help understand if international contingent or domestic ones have more significant impact on gold prices.

Imperatives have been widely considered to be neither true nor false. Accordingly, the logic of imperative has introduced satisfaction-values for the imperative sentences. This may rouse the question about the role of cognitivism in respect of the logic of imperatives. Many have accepted the cognitivist account in the area of imperative semantics. There are two kinds of cognitivist account found in the logic of imperatives. Some are in favour of reductionism, while some others consider imperatives as non-truth-functional. The second attempt has got comparatively better support than the former attempt and the defenders are some empiricists and logicians. Logicians are divided in two camps in respect of the reductionist account. While Peter B.M. Vranas developed a non-reductionist account of imperatives, Nate Charlow has offered a theory of modal non-cognitivism, which is found in his writing Logic and Semantics for Imperatives. The present paper is a humble attempt to reflect upon the workability and relevance of modal non-cognitivism as held by Charlow in respect of imperatives.

Abstract: This study presents a folkloristic analysis of Bwisagu songs, a vital component of Bodo folk literature. Bwisagu, the most significant seasonal festival of the Bodo people, is characterized by vibrant cultural expressions, including dance, music, and various ritualistic practices such as cattle rites and ancestor worship. Employing a descriptive methodology, this paper examines the cultural significance, thematic dimensions, and artistic nuances of Bwisagu songs, emphasizing their function in preserving and transmitting the oral traditions of the Bodo community. Through this analysis, the study underscores the role of Bwisagu songs as both a medium of cultural continuity and a reflection of the socio-religious ethos of the Bodo people.

Political discourse has always focused significantly on emergencies, so from ancient to the present, intellectuals have been preoccupied with the issue of how communities should respond to dangerous situations. Political theory offers us an explanation of how emergency powers have been used throughout history. From classical to modern times, thinkers like Plato, Aristotle, Machiavelli, Hobbes, Carl Schmitt, and Fredrick Watkins have examined the theoretical foundations and implications of emergency powers. We are at present grappling with a number of crises, including health, climate, and terrorist threats. In order to respond to these crises, we must restructure our political systems and establish new governmental functions and legal frameworks. This paper explores Hobbes' and Carl Schmitt's theoretical stances on emergency, paying particular attention to the crucial role that sovereignty played in both ideas, and explores how liberal democratic values accommodate emergency powers. Part one of this paper explores Hobbes and Schmitt's conceptualizations of emergency powers. Part two includes an analysis of their justifications for sovereign authority.

Video games have become a dominant form of digital media, influencing cultural narratives and social perceptions through their portrayal of gender, race, and LGBTQ+ identities. This study examines how video games shape representation in digital media, identifying whether they reinforce or challenge stereotypes. Using a qualitative research approach, the study conducts a content and thematic analysis of major gaming titles, including Tomb Raider, Grand Theft Auto, The Last of Us Part II, and Cyberpunk 2077. Findings reveal a historical reliance on gender and racial stereotypes, with female characters often depicted as hypersexualized figures and racial minorities constrained by criminal or martial arts tropes. However, recent industry efforts have introduced more diverse protagonists and inclusive narratives, albeit with limitations such as tokenism and implicit biases. LGBTQ+ representation, though improving, remains marginal or controversial in mainstream gaming. The study highlights the ethical and social implications of digital representation, emphasizing the role of game developers, industry regulations, and media criticism in fostering inclusivity. While gaming narratives have made strides toward diversity, structural biases persist, shaping how digital identities are constructed and perceived.

A drastic down in air pollution ( a significant change in the air quality index of NCR Delhi has been noticed even during the early winter) has been seen across the world, huge amount of medical waste threatens the world at the same time. It has been said that this lockdown has given temporary relief for a degrading environment. News media as well as social media have discussed the relations between the coronavirus pandemic and climate change. Communication lessons that could be drawn from one and applied to the other. The discussion done on social media can reshape public opinion about the environment and consciousness. Many research and news media reports have linked the lockdown and several wildlife species, with potential implications for environmental journalism. The Present study will investigate the discussions and deliberations about the environment on the social media platform. The study specifically focuses on how and in which way the social media posts regarding environmental changes during the COVID-19 pandemic have been circulated. It is intended to analyze the patterns of social media discussion and the actions and look into the extent social media is used to grab global attention for seeking environmental attention. Further study will find the use of official social media pages of ministries, international bodies, and NGOs, to create environmental consciousness The study is designed to be quantitative. The survey is used for collecting data to accomplish objectives. A sample of individuals has been considered. The study found that social media is more influential in communicating with people for environmental awareness. We came to know that people will behave responsibly when the right content is given at the right time. We found that social media is very influential in creating public opinion even during crucial times like covid-19 pandemic.

Raja Ram Mohan Roy, often regarded as the pioneer of Indian journalism and social reform, played a crucial role in shaping the Indian press as a tool for enlightenment, advocacy, and resistance against oppression. In the early 19th century, when British-controlled newspapers dominated public discourse, he established Sambad Kaumudi (1821) and Mirat-ul-Akhbar (1822) to promote social reform, political consciousness, and free expression. Through his writings, he campaigned for the abolition of Sati, women's education, caste equality, and religious rationalism, while simultaneously challenging British colonial policies and advocating for freedom of the press. Despite facing press censorship from the British government and resistance from orthodox Hindu and Muslim communities, Roy remained steadfast in his mission. His strategic use of multilingual journalism, engagement with British intellectuals, and reliance on religious scriptures to justify reforms helped him navigate opposition and influence legislative changes, including the abolition of Sati in 1829. His journalistic approach later inspired social reformers like Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar and Jyotirao Phule, as well as nationalist leaders such as Bal Gangadhar Tilak and Mahatma Gandhi, who used the press to further their causes. Roy's fight for press freedom laid the foundation for India's later struggles against censorship, influencing Article 19(1)(a) of the Indian Constitution, which guarantees freedom of speech and expression. His model of vernacular journalism, investigative reporting, and reformist discourse remains relevant in modern Indian media, where journalists continue to grapple with political pressure, misinformation, and ethical dilemmas. This paper explores Raja Ram Mohan Roy's contributions to journalism, his role in social reform, the challenges he faced, and his enduring influence on modern media. His legacy serves as a guiding force for ethical journalism and democratic discourse in contemporary India, reinforcing the press as a powerful instrument for social justice, activism, and intellectual progress.
