Breast cancer affects more women than any other form of cancers. Breast cancer is diagnosed mostly by mammography. Medical data from CT scans, PET scans, and MRIs are among the most widely used types of information. The use of Deep learning and Machine Learning approaches has become essential for efficient and precise cancer prediction and detection since the work of analyzing this massive amount of data has gotten increasingly difficult. Clinically relevant information can be mined from medical photographs to better aid in illness diagnosis and early detection, which is the primary focus of medical image mining. Patients need careful symptom observation and a prediction automatic system that can identify the tumour as benign or malignant in order to receive effective treatment. While its primary function as a generic neural network based on convolution is to classify images with an image as input and a single label as output, in biomedical applications, it may also identify disease and locate its exact location. This issue can be solved by employing deep learning methods. A Deep learning with hybrid-based framework is suggested for tumour zone segmentation and prediction in mammography images. To assess the stage of breast cancer, the model uses a fully hybrid method that has been updated and broadened in design to operate with fewer training images and deliver more accurate tumour height and width segmentations.

This study examines the investment behavior and perception of policyholders towards the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) in selected districts of Karnataka. It explores how demographic factors, service quality, agent performance, and digital transformation influence customer satisfaction, investment choices, and trust in LIC. Using primary data from 400 respondents collected through structured questionnaires, the study employs descriptive statistics, correlation, regression, and ANOVA to analyze relationships between investor behavior and demographic variables. Findings reveal that factors such as age, income, education, and occupation significantly shape investment preferences, while government trust, agent interaction, and technological accessibility enhance investor confidence. The research highlights LIC's continuing dominance in the insurance sector but also underscores the need for improved digital services, customer education, and personalized engagement strategies to sustain competitiveness in the evolving market.

The critical nature of emergency situations demands rapid communication, yet panic and time loss often hinder effective contact with essential services. This paper presents the design, development, and implementation of a mobile Emergency Dialer Application (EDA) engineered to overcome these challenges. The EDA integrates official emergency service numbers (Police, Fire, Ambulance) with user-defined personal contacts into a single, highly accessible interface. Drawing upon established literature, the methodology prioritizes simplicity, reliability, and one-tap calling functionality. The application was developed using Android Studio and Java, utilizing SQLite for secure local contact management. The resulting system provides a dedicated, fast, and reliable platform, significantly reducing response time during life-critical events.

Peripheral Diabetic Neuropathy (PDN) is one of the most disabling microvascular complications of Diabetes Mellitus, affecting nearly 50% of long-standing diabetic patients and significantly impairing quality of life. From a modern perspective, chronic hyperglycemia leads to metabolic and vascular derangements such as polyol pathway activation, oxidative stress, accumulation of advanced glycation end products, and microangiopathy, culminating in nerve damage. In Ayurveda, PDN can be correlated with Madhumehajanya Upadrava, primarily manifesting as Vata-predominant disorders due to Ojo kshaya and Dhatu kshaya. Symptoms like suptata (numbness), daha (burning), ruja (pain), and toda (pricking sensations) closely resemble the clinical presentation of neuropathy. The Ayurvedic approach emphasizes both Shodhana (purification) and Shamana (palliative) therapies. Panchakarma modalities such as Basti (particularly Yapana and Tikta Ksheera Basti) and Virechana are indicated for Vata-Pitta involvement. Rasayana drugs including Amalaki, Guduchi, Ashwagandha, Shatavari, and Guggulu yogas offer neuroprotective, antioxidant, and rejuvenative effects. Dietary regulation and lifestyle modification with regular exercise, yoga, and meditation play a supportive role. This review attempts to correlate the modern pathophysiology of PDN with Ayurvedic concepts of Madhumehajanya Upadrava, highlighting integrative management strategies. Ayurveda, with its holistic approach addressing root causes, dosha balance, and tissue rejuvenation, holds promising potential in the prevention and management of peripheral diabetic neuropathy.

The study examines the relationship between mindset and metacognitive awareness, as well as grit, in a sample of 186 college students. The research utilized descriptive statistics, correlation analyses, and regression analyses. The assessment tools of Dweck's Implicit Theories of Intelligence Scale (Dweck, 1995) for mindset, the MAI- Metacognitive Awareness Inventory Shortened version (Harrison and Vallin, 2018) for metacognitive awareness, and the Short Grit Scale (Angele Duckworth and Patrick Quinn, 2009) for grit were employed. Correlation analyses revealed exceptionally high positive associations, suggesting these constructs move together in a highly predictable manner. A near-perfect positive relationship was observed between mindset and metacognitive awareness, and a powerful positive correlation was found between mindset and grit. Further, the regression analyses confirmed that mindset serves as a powerful predictor. Mindset explained approximately 97.1% of the variation in outcomes in metacognitive awareness and 97.4% of the variation in outcomes in grit. These results underscore the central role of mindset as a foundational construct that shapes both cognitive and non-cognitive skills. The study suggests that fostering a growth mindset is a key starting point for educational interventions, creating simultaneous enhancement in metacognitive awareness and grit, ultimately supporting higher academic achievement, resilience, and personal growth.

Ecocentrism – the concept where the nature is considered dominant and have the intrinsic value, where all the living and non-living things are protected for their own merit. The opposite of this is the concept of Anthropocentrism – Humans are considered dominant and places human as the centre, where the nature is only valued for the utilization of the humans. This paper tries to describe the concepts of Ecocentrism and Anthropocentrism as superposition that attempt to impose certainty on the fundamentally uncertain, shaping humanity’s response to unknown, through the theoretical paradox of Schrödinger’s Cat, examining the science fiction short-story Last Contact (2007) by the hard science-fiction author, Stephen Baxter. The story portrays an apocalyptic atmosphere, where the Universe is about to collapse by the Big Rip. Through the lives of Caitlin and Maureen, the narrative explains the philosophical reflection on how humans construct meaning in the face of cosmic indifference and how the ecocentric world returns, destroying the anthropocentric structure. The mother–daughter relationship drives the narrative as the story further humanizes this collapse, turning the scientific apocalypse into a meditation on observation, meaning, and surrender. Drawing the experiment of Schrödinger’s Cat, Baxter’s story can be symbolically situated as the quantum state of uncertainty, revealing how both ecological and human-centered ideologies attempt to collapse this uncertainty into certainty as super-posit explanations. This paper argues that Baxter’s Last Contact (2007), the boundary between life and death, human and non-human, consciousness and cosmos, exploring ecocentrism and anthropocentrism as superposition responses and not some enlightened underpinnings, attempting to make the indifferent universe observable and bearable.

AI is now everywhere from chatbots that write emails to cameras that recognise faces in crowds, from credit-score algorithms to police prediction tools. Each of these systems runs on massive amounts of personal data. In India, where a billion-plus people are rapidly going digital, this creates both opportunity and danger. Data leaks, biased decisions, hidden profiling, and state surveillance can erode dignity and equality. The central question is simple: do our laws keep pace with these risks? This piece maps the legal landscape, highlights real-world problems, spots the gaps, and suggests practical fixes.

Visually impaired individuals face significant challenges in accessing printed text. The Smart Reader for Blind People aims to overcome this limitation using advanced computer vision and artificial intelligence technologies. The system captures images of printed text, extracts characters through Optical Character Recognition (OCR), and converts them into audible speech using a Text-to-Speech (TTS) engine. Implemented using Python, OpenCV, Pytesseract, and Google TTS, the proposed system offers a low-cost, portable, and accurate solution for reading printed materials aloud. This paper discusses the system's architecture, working methodology, and expected outcomes, emphasizing its contribution toward inclusive education and digital accessibility for the visually impaired.
