This paper conducts an empirical examination of customer satisfaction and brand preference among working women regarding herbal cosmetic products in Vadakara taluk. The research revealed a significant correlation between the age and monthly income of respondents and their satisfaction levels concerning the unique selling propositions of herbal cosmetics. It has been found that nearly every demographic factor affects their purchasing decisions regarding cosmetics. The study indicates that respondents are unlikely to recommend their products to others, as this is contingent upon their skin tone and hair type. The main reasons driving respondents to transition from herbal cosmetics to conventional products include quality, price, promotional sales, packaging, and warranty. According to the survey, a majority of consumers express satisfaction with herbal cosmetic products. Most women prefer cosmetics that incorporate more herbal ingredients and do not harm their skin.

Agriculture is the backbone of India's economy, yet it remains highly vulnerable to climate variability, natural calamities, and market fluctuations. The Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY), launched in 2016, represents a significant policy initiative by the Government of India to promote sustainable and resilient agriculture through a comprehensive crop insurance framework. The scheme aims to provide financial protection to farmers against crop losses arising from natural disasters, pests, and diseases, thereby ensuring income stability and reducing agrarian distress. By introducing affordable premium rates, leveraging technology-based assessment tools like remote sensing and drones, and ensuring transparent claim settlement, PMFBY fosters risk management and enhances farmers' confidence in agricultural production. In doing so, it not only supports the economic well-being of farmers but also contributes to the broader goal of sustainable agricultural growth. However, challenges such as delayed compensation, limited awareness, and administrative inefficiencies need to be addressed to realize its full potential. Overall, PMFBY is a vital step towards building a climate-resilient and sustainable agricultural ecosystem in India.

India's agriculture sector plays a significant role in the country's economy, supporting over 1.4 billion people and providing employment to approximately 58% of the population. It contributes about 19 to 20% to the country's GDP. Government spending on agriculture increased from INR. 1,22,836 crores in 2022-23 to INR. 1,25,036 crores in 2023-24 and was estimated at INR. 1,22,529 crore for 2024-25. Land classification includes forests (72,021), non-agricultural uses (27,845), and a net area sown of 140,705. The total agricultural land is 179,982, with cultivated land at 154,203 and a cropping intensity of 155.9%. Food grain production consistently rose from 2975.04 lakh tonnes to 3322.95 lakh tonnes, while commercial crop production generally increased from 3705.00 lakh tonnes to 4531.58 lakh tonnes, peaking at 4905.33 lakh tonnes in 2022-23 before declining in 2023-24. Despite challenges like climate volatility and soil depletion, government initiatives in technology, infrastructure, and farmer support are boosting incomes and enhancing food security. The government aims to modernize the sector, increase farmer incomes, and strengthen the agricultural value chain through policy, investment, and digital integration.

The construction industry is a major contributor to environmental degradation, and cement production is a substantial contributor to the overall CO2 emissions. Due to this environmental change, there is a greater interest in the partial replacement of cement with other materials, such as agricultural byproducts. This project investigates the use of Bagasse Ash (BA) as a partial cement replacement in concrete. This form of ash, which is a byproduct of sugarcane processing, has pozzolanic properties that provide an opportunity to enhance the mechanical / durability properties of concrete and reduce its environmental impact. The project investigates the effect of different percentage of bagasse ash substitute (5%-30% by mass) on concrete's workability, strength, and durability. In this research project, a series of experimental tests are conducted for both fresh and hardened concrete, including slump, compressive strength, and tensile strength. The results demonstrate that bagasse ash can be successfully substituted for cement in concrete mixes. The project shows that the ideal percent substitution rate for cement is 10% with a good overall balance of workability strength and durability. Furthermore, this substitution is beneficial to the environment and it can assist in the reduction of the overall cost of producing concrete. The findings of this study not only extend the body of knowledge into sustainable building materials, but also suggest implications for the application of bagasse ash as a cement replacement in a practical sense. This study suggests that bagasse ash is a greener alternative to cement, and that it provides improved concrete durability and performance over time. This further supports bagasse ash in its role for sustainable practice in the building industry. This study supports further exploration into the use of mix design for bagasse ash in concrete and suggest a future use of bagasse ash in a workable mix design for alternative purposes in the building industry, that can ultimately lead to greener and more cost-effective sustainable building materials.

The study explores the level of public awareness of social marketing campaigns implemented in Kerala's health sector. Although social marketing has emerged globally as an effective approach to promote positive health behaviors, limited research has examined its effectiveness in the Indian context, particularly in Kerala. This study addresses that gap by assessing the extent of public awareness of government-led health campaigns aimed at tackling major health issues such as diabetes and hypertension. Based on both primary and secondary data, a structured questionnaire was administered to 800 respondents, yielding 707 valid responses selected through multi-stage sampling. The findings reveal that younger populations, urban residents, and government employees exhibit higher levels of awareness compared to other demographic groups. The study highlights that despite the wide reach of health campaigns, variations in awareness persist across demographic segments. These insights emphasize the importance of designing more inclusive and targeted social marketing strategies to enhance public awareness and participation in health initiatives. The study contributes valuable evidence to guide policymakers in strengthening communication efforts for improved public health outcomes in Kerala.

Psychological trauma often leads to long-term emotional and behavioral challenges such as anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Virtual Reality (VR) therapy has emerged as an effective tool for exposure-based interventions; however, most existing systems lack adaptability to the user's emotional state during therapy sessions. This study proposes a conceptual model for an Adaptive AI-Virtual Reality Therapy System (AAVRTS) designed to support trauma survivors through real-time emotional regulation. The framework integrates AI-driven emotional inference, biofeedback sensors, and dynamically responsive virtual environments that adapt instantly to physiological and psychological cues. Additionally, the system includes a therapist dashboard enabling live monitoring and personalized session adjustments. Although the system is conceptual and not yet physically implemented, it provides a foundational model for developing interactive, safe, and emotion-responsive digital therapies aimed at enhancing engagement and improving therapeutic outcomes for trauma-affected individuals.
