 Abstract

Background: Osteoarthritis (OA) is a chronic degenerative joint disorder characterized by articular cartilage loss, osteophyte formation, and functional disability. It is one of the leading causes of pain and disability among the elderly. In Ayurveda, OA can be correlated with Sandhigata Vata, a condition caused by Vata prakopa leading to degeneration (dhatu kshaya) of Asthi and Majja dhatu within the Sandhi (joints). Objective: To evaluate the effect of integrated Ayurvedic management using SRDP (Scientific Reversal Detox Process) therapy and internal medicines in the management of chronic knee osteoarthritis, with clinical and radiological assessment over six months. Case Presentation: A 60-year-old male patient (initials S.S.), weighing 73 kg, presented with right knee pain, swelling, stiffness, and difficulty in folding the leg for six years. Radiography revealed medial joint-space narrowing and osteophyte formation (Kellgren-Lawrence Grade III). The patient was treated with SRDP therapy and a combination of internal Ayurvedic medicines. Results: Significant reduction in pain (VAS 8->2), improved joint mobility, and visible radiological improvement (joint-space widening, reduced sclerosis) were observed after three months. The treatment halted degenerative progression and improved functional capacity. Conclusion: The integrated Ayurvedic regimen produced clinically and radiologically measurable improvement in osteoarthritis of the knee. This suggests that SRDP therapy combined with Vata-shamaka, Rasayana, and Sandhi Poshaka Dravyas can be an effective non-surgical intervention in Sandhigata Vata.

 Abstract

ABSTRACT: Amlapitta is among the most commonly occurring diseases in society. It can be found in any age group, class, or community. The phrase "Amlapitta correlated with hyperacidity" refers to a set of symptoms caused by an imbalance between the acid-secreting and acid-neutralizing mechanisms inside the body that normally protect the stomach and proximal intestine. The stomach naturally produces the acid needed for digestion, and excessive acid generation results in acidity. In India, the prevalence is reported to be between 7.7% and 30%, usually less than 10% in most studies. Dietary factors associated with it include the use of spices and non-vegetarian food. Our Acharyas state that it results from the vitiation of Kapha and Pitta Doshas. Swamarga Chikitsa is recommended for the management of Amlapitta. Pitta Shamana manages Amlapitta through Vamana and Virechana. Hyperacidity can be understood in Ayurveda under the umbrella of Urdhwarga Amlapitta, differentiated from the symptoms of Pittaja Grahani, Sama Pitta, and Vidagdha Jeerna. Patients show improvement in symptoms such as flatulence, nausea, indigestion, acid regurgitation, and retrosternal burning. Significant relief in Amlapitta has been observed with lifestyle and dietary changes combined with Pravala Panchamruta Rasa, Laghu Sutshekhara Rasa, and Avipattikara Churna.

 Abstract

Foreign remittances play a critical role in the international freight forwarding industry, where financial flows and cargo movements are deeply interconnected. This research examines the remittance processes of a Mumbai-based logistics company handling inward and outward remittances across multiple global markets. The study evaluates operational efficiency, documentation accuracy, country-wise and agent-wise dependencies, and forex sensitivity within the remittance cycle. Using firm-level data such as Foreign Inward Remittance Certificates (FIRC), Form 15CA/CB, Tax Residency Certificates (TRC), DTAA documentation, and remittance logs, analytical tools including pivot tables, heatmaps, and trend analysis were applied to identify patterns and operational bottlenecks. Findings reveal that over 86% of remittance value is concentrated in two countries--China and the USA--handled predominantly by two major agents. This creates operational efficiency but also exposes the company to geopolitical risks, documentation delays, and currency volatility. The research concludes that manual documentation workflows, inconsistent agent communication, and lack of digital tracking significantly slow compliance processes. Strengthening digital documentation, diversifying agents, and improving forex management can enhance remittance accuracy and operational resilience. Overall, the study establishes that remittance patterns, operational processes, and compliance efficiency are strongly interconnected.

 Abstract

The phenomenon of rural to urban migration has been a prevalent issue in developing countries, particularly in North Bihar, India. This trend is primarily driven by the pursuit of economic opportunities and better living conditions. However, this mass movement of people has significant socio-economic implications on both the sending and receiving communities. One major effect of rural to urban migration is the strain it puts on local resources and infrastructure in cities. The influx of migrants leads to overcrowding, resulting in increased demand for services such as housing, healthcare, water supply, and sanitation. This often leads to inadequate provision of these essential services, causing further economic disparities between migrants and locals. Moreover, rural-urban migration also poses challenges for social cohesion within communities. Migrants face difficulties integrating into their new environment due to cultural differences and lack of social networks. This can lead to tensions with local residents who may perceive them as competition for jobs or resources. Another significant impact is the loss of human capital from rural areas where most migrants come from. With young adults leaving their villages for cities seeking employment opportunities, there is a decline in agricultural productivity leading to food insecurity and poverty among those left behind.

 Abstract

The travel agency industry has undergone significant changes in the last decade due to rapid technological advancement, evolving customer expectations, and increased competition from online travel portals. This study investigates the current sales and marketing practices of travel agencies, which primarily offers flight booking services. The study examines how traditional relationship-based selling and word-of-mouth promotion continue to influence customer behavior, while also highlighting the growing role of digital tools and technology. Using primary data collected through surveys and interviews, the research identifies gaps in customer acquisition, lead generation, and digital engagement. Recommendations are provided to help travel agencies adopt modern marketing practices, strengthen customer relationships, and remain competitive in a dynamic travel marketplace.

 Abstract

This paper critically examines the memoir Auntie Rita by Rita and Jackie Huggins, foregrounding its significance as a testimony of Aboriginal resilience, cultural continuity, and political activism in the face of colonial oppression. Through an exploration of themes such as forced displacement, racial discrimination, the Stolen Generations, kinship structures, and spiritual connection to land, the study highlights the memoir as a powerful counter-discourse to colonial historiography. It argues that language, storytelling, and intergenerational memory become instruments of reclaiming identity and dignity for Indigenous Australians. The narrative offers profound insights into Aboriginal communal ethics, egalitarian values, and the struggle for socio-political self-determination, contrasting them with the exploitative, paternalistic attitudes of colonial authorities. Ultimately, the memoir demonstrates how Indigenous women like Rita Huggins transform personal trauma into collective empowerment, reshaping postcolonial discourse and advocating for cultural integration over assimilation. The paper underscores the urgency of acknowledging Indigenous epistemologies in shaping contemporary democratic societies.

 Abstract

Network topologies form the foundational structure upon which communication networks operate. These topologies of such as bus, star, ring, and tree have historically shaped the development of early computer networks, while modern environments--such as data centers, IoT ecosystems, wireless ad hoc networks, and cloud infrastructures--have introduced new topologies including mesh, hybrid, fat-tree, Clos, and software-defined network (SDN)-based architectures. That paper provided comparative view classical and modern network topologies with respect to scalability, reliability, performance, fault tolerance, complexity, and suitability for contemporary applications. The review highlights the shift from rigid, hardware-based designs toward flexible, scalable, and software-driven architectures that meet the demands of modern distributed systems.
