Medicinal plants have served as essential components of human healthcare systems since ancient times, owing to their therapeutic, nutritional, and cultural significance. Their increasing global demand reflects a shift away from synthetic drugs toward natural remedies, particularly in regions where traditional medicine is still a primary source of healthcare. Among these plants, Caralluma fimbriata, a succulent species widely distributed in arid and semi-arid regions, has emerged as a valuable botanical resource. Traditionally used as famine food and an appetite suppressant, Caralluma fimbriata is rich in diverse phytochemicals including pregnane glycosides, flavonoids, saponins, steroids, and phenolic compounds, which support its broad spectrum of pharmacological activities. These include anti-obesity, anti-diabetic, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, neuroprotective, and hypolipidemic effects. Scientific evidence and traditional reports highlight its potential role in metabolic health, gastrointestinal disorders, pain management, and infectious diseases. Despite its immense therapeutic value, overexploitation, limited cultivation efforts, and habitat degradation threaten its availability. This review consolidates the traditional uses, nutritional attributes, phytochemical composition, and therapeutic properties of Caralluma fimbriata, while emphasizing the need for conservation and future biotechnological interventions to promote sustainable utilization and large-scale applications in the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and food industries.

Arundhati Roy became universally fame by her prestigious novel "The God of Small Things" takes place mostly in 1969 and 1993, in Ayemenem (Aymanam), in the district of Kerala. Marxist ideas grew popular in Kerala soon after India's liberation from British colonial rule, and in 1967 the Naxalite party split off as a more radical Communist group than the mainstream. The growing social unrest from these labor movements affects the action of the early novel. The ancient Hindu caste system (dividing Untouchables from Touchables, among other rules) was abolished around 1950, but many Indians still clung to old traditions and the class divide. Some of the characters in the novel are also Syrian Christians, an ancient community in Kerala originating with St. Thomas. The Ministry of Utmost Happiness is the second novel by Indian writer Arundhati Roy, published in 2017, twenty years after her debut, The God of Small Things. The novel weaves together the stories of people navigating some of the darkest and most violent episodes of modern Indian history, from land reform that dispossessed poor farmers to the 2002 Godhra train burning and Kashmir insurgency. Roy's characters run the gamut of Indian society and include an intersex woman (hijra), a rebellious architect, and her landlord who is a supervisor in the intelligence service. The narrative spans across decades and locations, but primarily takes place in Delhi and Kashmir. Arundhati Roy's openness as a narrator which adds a lot of charm to the novel. Arundhati Roy explains in the novel that connections between the very smallest things and the very biggest things. The God of Small Things and The Ministry of Utmost Happiness is also focused the theme of class conflicts, Marginality and abusive of women in our Indian society.

The Solar Fish Feeder and Food Tray Monitoring System is an innovative approach designed to automate and optimize fish feeding in aquaculture environments. This system leverages solar energy as a sustainable power source to operate automated feeding mechanisms and integrated monitoring units. By utilizing sensors and microcontrollers, it monitors the food tray to assess feeding activity and detect leftover feed, enabling real-time decision-making and reducing feed waste. The proposed system ensures consistent feeding schedules, improves feed efficiency, and minimizes manual intervention. This paper presents a comprehensive overview of existing technologies related to solar-powered feeders and monitoring systems in aquaculture, comparing their performance, reliability, and limitations. The review aims to highlight the benefits of integrating renewable energy with smart monitoring to promote sustainable aquaculture practices. Additionally, it identifies existing research gaps and potential directions for future development in this field.

Forest fires have escalated to an environmental disaster that could not be ignored and that would be considered amongst others, a world scenario not just of the loss of flora and fauna but also of millions of people, amongst others; air quality degradation, and huge financial losses. The traditional methods of fire monitoring, such as manual patrols and lookout towers, are generally the slowest and therefore the most expensive when it comes to the impact of fires. The paper talks about the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the management of forest fires focusing on three main areas: early detection, fire spread prediction, and risk prevention. AI techniques including computer vision models such as Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), machine learning algorithms like Random Forest and Gradient Boosting, and predictive analytics are utilised to handle the massive data from satellite imagery, drone cameras, IoT sensors, and weather parameters. The study proves that AI can be employed in real-time detection, precise fire propagation forecasting, and mapping fire-risk zones for preventive actions. Moreover, the paper presents discussions around datasets, real-life applications, challenges, and AI's future directions, thereby indicating that AI could be beneficial in terms of enhanced decision-making, better allocation of resources, and lessening both ecological and economic repercussions of forest fires.

Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) have become a key tool for growth, consolidation, and creating value in today's changing business environment. However, the success of these transactions depends on making informed decisions. This is where Financial Due Diligence (FDD) is essential. This research paper looks at the role and importance of FDD in evaluating target companies during M&A, focusing on how specific industry factors affect the thoroughness and nature of the diligence process. Using both secondary research and practical insights gained from a two-month internship, the study presents a step-by-step analysis of how FDD is carried out, particularly in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector. The findings show how FDD helps reveal financial problems, evaluate working capital and cash flow, and support negotiations through accurate EBITDA adjustments and risk identification. The paper concludes that FDD is not just a way to validate finances but also a strategic tool that ensures M&A outcomes are more secure and focused on creating value.

In the contemporary academic landscape, students encounter heightened anxiety attributed to intense competition, with medical school students facing particularly elevated levels compared to other educational disciplines. Test anxiety, characterized by somatic, cognitive, and behavioral manifestations during exam preparation and performance, is a significant concern. This study aimed to ascertain whether extroversion or neuroticism, as personality trait dimensions, correlates more strongly with test anxiety. The research encompassed 190 first and second-year medical students at USM-KLE International Medical College, Belagavi, Karnataka, India. Personality dimensions were assessed using the Eysenck Personality Inventory, while test anxiety was measured using the Test Anxiety Inventory (TAI) developed by Charles D. Spielberger. Findings indicate that higher neuroticism scores correspond to elevated test anxiety among students (with a significant 't' value of 5.34 at the 0.05 level of significance). The implications of this study underscore the importance of implementing intervention strategies such as breathing exercises and relaxation techniques for students grappling with heightened test anxiety.
