 Abstract

India had a centralized unitary state at the time of Independence. After independence when the constituent assembly met for the drafting of the constitution, they had discussions and deliberation on whether the federal structure is desirable or a unitary structure. The constituent assembly came with a conclusion in which they adopted a structure with a strong centre and a state with limited powers but the structure was termed as federalism. The reason for the inclusion of federalism was to accommodate the diverse population of the country. But the structure of federalism was very complex due to identity politics and the regional identities. The Supreme Court of India plays a pivotal role as the guardian of the Constitution, interpreting laws, and safeguarding fundamental rights. While the powers of the Court are largely defined within the Constitution, it also possesses inherent powers that are essential for the effective discharge of its duties in the judicial system. This paper the author explores The Role of Supreme Court Of India In Development And Protection Of The Indian Federalism.

 Abstract

The healthcare sector has undergone a transformative shift with the integration of Big Data Analytics (BDA). Increasing volumes of complex health-related data from electronic health records (EHRs), medical imaging, wearable devices, social media, and genomics necessitate sophisticated analytical tools. Big Data Analytics offers capabilities to improve patient outcomes, reduce costs, enhance decision-making, and enable personalized medicine. This research examines the key applications of BDA in clinical care and personal health management, explores challenges and ethical considerations, and provides future directions for further innovation.

 Abstract

ABSTRACT The land policy in India has been a major topic of Government discussions since the time prior to independence from British rule. At the time of independence, India faced a major challenge of setting right the agrarian structure as promised during the Independence struggle. The first task placed before the first Indian Parliament was to address land policy. The land reform alludes to an increase in agro-monetary establishments. It includes measures and methods identifying with the redistribution of land, guideline of a contract, renewing the States of tenure, etc. The land reforms target repositioning ownership thinking from the viewpoint of social equity and revamping operational property from the view purpose of perfect use of land. It comprises a transfer of ownership rights as well as the use of property away from large landowners and toward cultivators with little or no landholdings.

 Abstract

The study discusses how the Indian soldier has been portrayed over time in Bollywood movies and considers the film Veer-Zaara (2004), Major (2022), Jawan (2023), and Dunki (2023). This is mainly to examine how these movies form the identity of the soldier, patriotism and moral uprightness as India undergoes a shift in its socio-political settings. The relevance of the study in knowing the way popular cinema reflects the national mood and shapes the national vision of nationalism, sacrifice and heroism. The study uses a qualitative research approach through the use of secondary sources which include scholarly literature, film reviews, and critical essays to explain the thematic and visual representations of the soldier. The discussion shows that there is a definite direction to the trends taken by Bollywood: to the emotional, secular nationalism of Veer-Zaara, to the hyper-masculine ideals of the soldier in Major, and, lastly, to the socially aware and justice-focused films in Jawan and Dunki. It has been mentioned in the discussion how these representations, in addition to being representative of the political development of India, that is, romanticized patriotism and critical critique of systemic breakdowns, humanize the soldier as a multifaceted being who ambivalently serves the country, sympathizes with it, and opposes it. It concludes that the film soldier is still a strong cultural icon, at once an expression of and a challenge to mainstream nationalist and moral heroic ideologies. Through this transformation, the study adds to the current debates on media, identity and politicization of patriotism in Indian popular culture.

 Abstract

The topic selected for this purpose is "Role of Gender, School Type and Teaching Experience on Academic Performance of Schools Perceived by Secondary School Teachers" The objectives of the study is to find out the difference in the Academic Performance of secondary school teachers based on gender, School Type and teaching experience. The Academic Performance studied as dependent variable, gender, School Type and teaching experience considered as background variables. Descriptive Survey method was followed. Stratified Random Sampling technique was used for the selection of 100 secondary school teachers from 10 secondary schools situated in Bengaluru Urban District, Karnataka. Academic Performance Scale (APS): Academic Performance Scale was developed and standardized by researcher (2023) was used to identify the academic performance perceived by teachers. In order to achieve the objectives and hypotheses of the study various statistical analysis was performed such as mean, standard deviation, independent t-test. In all the cases 0.05 level was fixed to test the hypotheses. Gender plays a significant role in shaping teachers' perceptions of academic performance. These findings align with previous research indicating that leadership styles and perceptions can vary based on the gender of school leaders. The study suggests that addressing this gender-related difference in academic performance perceptions is essential for creating a more equitable and supportive educational environment. The teaching experience is a significant factor in shaping teachers' perceptions of academic performance. More experienced teachers tend to have more positive perceptions, which suggest a deeper understanding of the factors contributing to academic success. Teaching experience matters in how teachers perceive the academic performance of their schools.

 Abstract

The city has long served as a dynamic site of representation in Indian English fiction, embodying both the promise of modernity and the anxieties of displacement, fragmentation, and cultural negotiation. In contemporary narratives, urban spaces emerge not merely as backdrops but as active agents shaping identities, relationships, and socio-political discourses. Writers engage with the complexities of migration, globalization, class disparity, gender politics, and the contested notions of belonging in metropolitan settings such as Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, and Kolkata. The cityscape is portrayed as a hybrid space where tradition encounters modernity, local collides with global, and the material realities of aspiration and alienation coexist. This paper seeks to examine how contemporary Indian English fiction constructs, critiques, and reimagines urban experience, foregrounding the city as a metaphor for the changing contours of Indian society in the 21st century.

 Abstract

The cases in the Court of Law are getting piled up every day, the judiciary is overburdened and according to statistics about 45 million cases are pending before the Courts to decide. Former Chief Justice of India (CJI) N.V Ramana while speaking earlier at the India-Singapore mediation Summit said that "Disputes were often resolved by the chieftains or elders of the community. Similarly, disputes relating to business were resolved by merchants, either by direct negotiations or through merchant bodies. However, the establishment of the British court's system, in 1775, marked the erosion of community-based indigenous dispute resolution mechanisms in India." The former CJI emphasized a system wherein mediation is the first mandatory system before approaching the Courts. India since time immemorial has had traditional conflict resolution mechanisms, as one can witness in epics like Mahabharat and Ramayana. Alternate Dispute Resolution methods are cost and time efficient and resolve the methods amicably without creating enmity among the parties. The globe is home to many cultures and each of these has its unique indigenous method of resolving the dispute. The formal court system came into existence many centuries after humanity came into existence, earlier the communities used to follow their own traditional methods to settle disputes. These traditional methods of conflict resolution can aid the formal system of adjudication, as the one who settles the dispute in a traditional system is better able to understand the culture and beliefs of the people, but these traditional methods of conflict resolution can be used after certain modifications are incorporated in these systems to make it more impartial and efficient.
