Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a progressive condition associated with systemic inflammation and various comorbidities, including metabolic disturbances. Metabolic Syndrome (MetS), a cluster of risk factors such as hypertension, dyslipidemia, abdominal obesity, and impaired glucose metabolism, frequently coexists with COPD. This study aims to investigate the differences in glycemic and lipid profiles in COPD patients with and without MetS. We hypothesized that COPD patients with MetS would exhibit worse glycemic control and lipid abnormalities compared to those without MetS. Our results revealed that COPD patients with MetS had significantly higher fasting blood glucose, HbA1c levels, and triglycerides, alongside lower HDL cholesterol levels compared to those without MetS. This highlights the need for integrated management approaches addressing both COPD and metabolic abnormalities to improve patient outcomes.

This study explores the underlying constructs on students' problem-solving ability. In particular, a path analyses on the interrelated connections between students' algorithmic knowledge, mathematical vocabulary and comprehension, and the mediation of conceptualization were thoroughly performed. Participants were college students taking Mathematics in the Modern World subject enrolled at Notre Dame of Marbel University. An assessment testing students' calculation ability, vocabulary and comprehension, conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills was administered during the classes' regular schedules. Structural equation modeling was used for the data analysis, and utilized smartPLS 4 software for the statistical computations. Jamovi software was also used for the model test and fit indices. First, a validity and reliability test were administered to the measurement model. Then, a structural equation model was developed. Results revealed that students' algorithmic knowledge and conceptualization directly and positively impact problem-solving ability while vocabulary and comprehension partially affect problem-solving ability. It was also found out that conceptualization has a complete mediation between vocabulary and comprehension to students' problem-solving ability. Results recommended that educators should ensure that students have a firm understanding of mathematical concepts, with expanded knowledge on mathematical language as essential tools in comprehending these mathematical word problems. They can also design multiple strategies that utilize a combination of English language and conceptual modeling.

Obesity is a medical condition in which excess body fat has accumulated to the extent that it may have a negative effect on health. Obesity increases the likelihood of various diseases and conditions, particularly Cardiovascular diseases, Respiratory Diseases, Type 2 diabetes, obstructive sleep apnea, certain types of cancer, osteoarthritis and depression. Obesity is a leading preventable cause of death worldwide, with increasing rates in adults and children. In 2015, 600 million adults (12%) and 100 million children were obese. Obesity is more common in women than men. Authorities view it as one of the most serious public health problems of the 21st century. Obesity is stigmatized in much of the modern world (particularly in the Western world), though it was seen as a symbol of wealth and fertility at other times in history and still is in some parts of the world. In 2013, the American Medical Association classified obesity as a disease. In India, the prevalence of overweight increased from 9.7% near the turn of the century to nearly 20% in studies reported after 2010. For children and adolescents, these studies show that obesity and overweight are rapidly increasing, not just in the higher income groups but also in the rural poor, where under nutrition and underweight remain major health concerns. In present research article a case of obesity taken. Patient was suffering from obesity since 8 years, overweight causing hindrance in day today life activities. Ayurvedic treatment employed by us has shown superior result comprising Shodhana, Oushadha, Vyayama & Restricted Diet.

Poetry is regarded as a powerful form of literature. Although English poetry has a very rich and long tradition, the history of English poetry rooted in Indian environment is not very old. 175-200 years of short Indian English poetry had to go through many transitions. The early Indian English poetry was influenced by the poetry of poets of high standards like Shakespeare, Keats, Byron, Shelley, Wordsworth, Milton, Yeats, Elist etc. The progress of English poetry in India was somewhat stumbling in the beginning. Early Indian English poetry touched many topics like Indianness, patriotism, slavery, war, genocide mythology God, faith etc. today many topics of international level have entered in it and globalisation is one of them. The period of globalisation is the period after 1990. Today the entire world has found itself in the grip of globalisation, liberalisation and privatisation. How can India and its literary field remain well apart from it? Majority of Indian English poets reside in urban India. The Chief aim of this research paper is to trace the poetry of these metropolitan Indian English poets in the 21st century and highlight their understanding of modernity, globalisation and other themes of their poetry.

Seed quality assessment is a pivotal factor in modern agriculture, directly influencing crop yield and productivity. Traditional manual inspection methods are not only labour-intensive but also susceptible to subjective errors, leading to inconsistencies. This paper presents a novel automated approach for seed quality detection and classification using advanced image processing techniques and deep learning. The proposed system leverages OpenCV for image preprocessing and Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) for precise classification of seeds into categories such as pure, discoloured, and damaged. Additionally, a comprehensive comparison with other seed testing approaches highlights the system's scalability and efficiency. Experimental results validate the system's accuracy in computing purity percentages for seed lots, offering a practical solution for agricultural quality control.

Disability inclusion has emerged as a crucial social issue in recent years because persons with disability are considered to be one of the most unsafe sections of the community who are grossly overlooked and neglected by family and others. Hence Inclusion of persons with disabilities in society is important to improve their visibility and consecration because of lack of visibility, everyone ignore their needs that's why prompting various industries, including the entertainment sector, to advocate for positive change. Bollywood, as the largest industry in India, plays a significant role in influencing societal perspectives who think that persons with disability are not able to do their work properly or cannot do anything in society. In the previous studies have shown that Bollywood films have often portrayed disabled characters in a negative, stereotypical, or comic way. This type of representations have reinforced the social stigma and discrimination faced by disabled people in the real world. However, some recent the Bollywood movies have consistently is a positive impacting on society and attempted to challenge the dominant view of disabled and present disabled characters in a more positive, realistic, and empowering way, based on the social model of disabled that views it as a result of the barriers created by the society and advocates for inclusion and accessibility. Such representations have contributed to the paradigm shift in Bollywood cinema from being neglected to being in the limelight. It is correct to say that if a message with true spirit is passed in the form among the audience it definitely bring the drastic changes in the society towards persons with disability. The present paper is to explore the fitting of Bollywood to share the achievement and inspiration of persons with disability among the society.

The aim of education is to foster responsible citizens who can contribute positively to their country. Inclusive education aims to achieve this by involving parents and communities in promoting education. By encouraging collaboration and partnership between schools, families, and communities, inclusive education fosters a supportive and conducive learning environment that empowers students to become responsible and engaged citizens. The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 underlines the significance of engaging parents and the community in education. The policy's overarching objective is to establish a more equitable, inclusive, and participatory education system that involves parents, community leaders, and Yuva/Mahila Mandals. In line with this objective, the NEP 2020 recommends the establishment of School Management Committees (SMCs) to facilitate community participation in schools' governance and management. The NEP 2020 also envisages the creation of vibrant and dynamic neighborhood schools that serve as hubs of community engagement and activity. The current study aims to investigate the various ways in which parents and the community can support their children's education, beyond just providing financial assistance. The data was gathered from a sample of 100 parents residing in Dimapur District, Nagaland. The study discovered that parents are actively involved in their children's education by providing additional tutoring for challenging subjects, helping them complete homework and projects, monitoring their academic progress. Additionally, the community also need to play a crucial role in imparting life skills such as dancing, singing, and teaching religious scriptures to shape the younger generation.
