 Abstract

The aim of this article is to points out the importance of Sanskrit language in the Mughal Court. Mughal court has been a place for the great scholars and learned persons. They welcomed the men of letter who has brilliant knowledge in their respective fields without any divisions. Leaders of Hindu society gave them a social status which Akbar was quick to recognize. As a special mark of confidence the Rajputs were deputed to guard the royal haram a position which they continued to enjoy throughout the seventeenth and the eighteenth centuries. The Rajputs were also valued as doughty warriors. Relations between the Hindu and Muslim nobles seem to have been cordial on the whole though most of the Hindus adhered strictly to caste restrictions regarding dining and inter-marrying etc. They made no difference between Hindu and Muslim. This is the sole message that has been attempted to highlight throughout this article.

 Abstract

Groundwater is a very precious resource. Today it has become so polluted due to industrial activities that it has become an important area of study. To assess the groundwater of Bhiwadi, we collected groundwater samples from its outlying villages. These samples were evaluated on the basis of BIS and some other standards. We have also prepared various charts with the help of distribution chart. We selected 5 major parameters to know the status of pollutants in the groundwater here and derived results based on them. We concluded that industrial activities are affecting the groundwater of this area. The data we collected supports the presence of water pollution in this area. Our samples included five major parameters such as pH, total hardness, total dissolved solids (TDS), fluoride, and total alkalinity.

 Abstract

Composite materials are been used for numerous components and structures in aerospace industry. Many of these components require machining during their fabrication. Drilling of composite materials is very difficult to carry out due to damage being induced into the component in the form of delamination, fiber pullout, and local cracks. Further, rapid wear development in the cutting tool also takes place during drilling of composite materials. Conventional machining processes such as turning, drilling or milling can be applied to composite materials, provided proper tool design and operating conditions are adopted. Kevlar Aramid Fiber Reinforced Plastics (K-1226) is widely used in the industry due to its chemical stability at high temperature and resistance to wear. Studies show that conventional cutting of this laminates are extremely difficult due to the frictional force developed via thermal expansion of substrate material which has restricted the use of Kevlar component. In this regard, an attempt has been made to describe the effective method for drilling K-1226 material using solid carbide step drill K-34 to drill a hole of 9mm diameter for varying thickness. The drilled Laminates are examined using C-Scan Analysis. From the analysis it is observed that for lower thickness K1226 laminate with higher feed rate, spindle speed and cutting speed no delamination occurred. Hence, it is be concluded that the solid carbide step drill K34 was found suitable for machining of Kevlar K1226 laminates of 8,10 and 12mm thickness.

 Abstract

Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni's novels Sister of My Heart and The Vine of Desire provide a rich exploration of personal and relational metamorphosis within the context of cultural, social, and emotional upheavals. The two novels follow the intertwined lives of Anju and Sudha, cousins bound by an intimate sisterhood yet shaped by divergent experiences of tradition, love, and displacement. This study investigates the transformative journeys of these characters as they navigate identity, loss, and resilience. By employing thematic and narrative analyses, this research elucidates the role of familial bonds, cultural expectations, and diasporic tensions in shaping their evolution. It demonstrates how Divakaruni intertwines the personal with the universal, portraying metamorphosis as a continuous negotiation of selfhood within complex cultural and emotional terrains. Their journeys encompass personal growth, relational evolution, and cultural displacement, offering a rich tapestry of identity reconstruction. This study analyzes how Divakaruni weaves themes of tradition, diaspora, and emotional resilience into the metamorphic arcs of her protagonists. Through a critical lens, the paper highlights the transformative processes that shape their lives, underscoring the intersection of cultural expectations and personal agency in defining their narratives.

 Abstract

The portrayal of women in Indian writing has long captivated the attention of scholars and readers, sparking in-depth discussions about the multifaceted representation of female characters in literature. This paper delves into an insightful analysis of Preeti Shenoy's novel "The Secret Wish List," strategically shining a spotlight on the sheer brilliance of Shenoy's narrative style while delving into uncharted territories within Indian writing in English. Specifically, the exploration extends into the realms of humanism, fiction, and feminism, elucidating how these elements interplay in shaping the lives and experiences of characters like Diksha in the novel. Diksha, a poignant embodiment of modern women grappling with societal expectations, is artfully depicted as she navigates the intricate web of personal sacrifices and societal norms prevalent in a male-dominated milieu. Her poignant struggles underscore the harsh reality faced by many women, who find themselves confined to submissive roles, their aspirations shackled by societal constraints. Amidst these challenges, however, Shenoy beautifully accentuates the theme of individual agency, showcasing Diksha's inspiring journey towards self-realization and empowerment. Vibrant and compelling, the character of Vibha emerges as a beacon of hope and catalyst for change in Diksha's life, igniting a transformative path towards independence and personal fulfilment. Through this thoughtful analysis, the paper not only enriches the discourse on the representation of women in Indian literature but also underscores the critical need to delve deeper into the nuances of this vibrant literary tradition, thereby paving the way for a more nuanced and inclusive understanding of gender dynamics and societal constructs.
