 Abstract

Energy consumption has increased steadily over the last century as the world population has grown and more countries have become industrialized. Crude oil has been the major resource to meet the increased the demand for energy. Yeasts are important microorganisms in food manufacturing and fermentation industry. In the current study attempt were made to investigate the potential of various waste materials for bioethanol production. Bioethanol is an important chemical product with emerging potential as a bio fuel to replace fossil fuels. An ecofriendly bio bioethanol is one of the alternate fuels that can be used in unmodified petro energies with current fuelling infrastructure also it can be easily applied in present day combustion engines by mixing it with gasoline. It can be used as desirable fuel adaptive because it burns without causing any environment lowers greenhouse gas emissions. Along with the production of industrial bioethanol, researches are also focused on the up gradation for bioconversion process of bioethanol production. In the current research attempt is been made to use waste materials such as fruit and vegetable peels for bioethanol production. For the very purpose the study was carried out from June 2016 to March 2017.

 Abstract

The present study investigates the smart class instruction on achievement and retention in science in relation to academic anxiety. The sample consisted of class 6th , 7th ,8th students selected from Nidhi ideal school bichhiya Gorakhpur . The investigator have taken 180 secondary school students by using simple random sampling technique For collection of data the investigator has used an achievement constructed and standardized by the investigator Instructional materials based on smart class instruction were prepared and utilized to teach the experimental group after pre-testing and gain scores were computed after implementing post and retention-test on all the students. The academic anxiety test was also administered. Analysis of mean & standard deviation was used to arrive at conclusions: (i) when same student teach with help of The smart class was found significantly higher achievement scores as compared to traditional class (ii) Performance of students with different academic anxiety group through smart class instruction was found significant at immediate level The result of the study reveals that smart class learning environment is better to teach both low achievers and high achievers than traditional class.

 Abstract

Retaining qualified employees in a labor-intensive, demanding, and fast-paced work environment is a major struggle for all industries more so for a startup company. As startups attempt to offer a new product/service in the market, it brings along a lot of challenges for the employers such as problems in dealing with competition, uncertainty about future of the product, irregular earnings at early stages, changes in tax policies and regulatory framework, high salaries paid by competitors etc., all of which contribute to the challenges in retaining employees in startups. Thus, proper motivational strategies for retaining employees are imperative. The purpose of this paper is to explore the issues and challenges faced by employers of startup companies in motivating and retaining their employees and offer suggestions to overcome these challenges. The paper is based on primary data collected from the employers of startup companies mainly founders, co-founders and managers. The data was analyzed using factor analysis. The findings indicate a common problem almost all startups face i.e. their manpower juggling with multiple roles and responsibilities that are caused by attrition. The practical implication of this study lies in the fact that it draws attention to the issue of employee turnover in startups and the need for managers to adopt strategies that will motivate and retain them and enhance their performance.

 Abstract

Water quality assessment is essential for providing information regarding water resource management. This study represents the seasonal variations of water quality of the River Ganga (Main and Side channel). The results in the present study in the pre-monsoon and post-monsoon seasons indicate that most of the water quality parameters were within the permissible limits of (WHO 1998 and BIS: 10500 2004-2005) for drinking water purposes except turbidity, DO, FCO2, BOD values at some sites. DO was in the range of 2.6-9.8 mg/L, FCO2 in the range of 21-120 mg/L. BOD in the range of 1.2-4 mg/L and turbidity in the range of 18.8-57.2 mg/L. Water quality index was calculated considering relative weights of 13 water quality parameters following the methods prescribed by Ramakrishnaiah et al., 2009 and Gebrehiwot et al., 2011.Water quality index values of selected sites in two seasons found under Good (71.44-91.83), poor (126.17-182.37) and very poor (208.58) category. Water of Side channel was not fit for human consumption in post monsoon season.

 Abstract

Security has been becoming an important issue everywhere. Every person wants his home, industry; bank etc to be secured Home security is becoming necessary. Now days as the possibilities of intrusion are increasing day by day. In this paper, home security system has been designed using Arduino,PIR motion detection sensor and a GSM module. When the system is activated,it continuously checks for motion and when the motion is detected,it sends a SMS to the owner.Only intruder alert is present in this system and can be upgraded to other security alert systems like fire, smoke etc. A low power passive infrared i.e PIR detectors take advantage of pyro- electricity to detect a human body that is a constant source of infrared radiation, while magnetic sensor works to detect intrusion through doors & windows.

 Abstract

Participatory approaches have been in practice since 1970s. In India rural development initiatives of Government have helped to develop the rural people and empowered the society. Vellore is one district in Tamil Nadu where the rural initiative have played a key role in creating participatory approach for empowerment. Vellore being a district where Christian Medical College is actively implementing and promoting participatory communication through its unit RUHSA near Gudiyatham taluk, Government rural development initiative are functioning in the grass root level to develop and empower the society. This paper aimed to study to concentrate on the part of participatory communication with the assistance of rural development initiative THAI scheme. This study aims to study the level of awareness, understanding, the social changes, the participation, development and empowerment of through interview schedule with the members followed by Focus Group Discussion with the project managers, staff members and volunteers.

 Abstract

Image denoising is one important objective in image processing and its applications. Image denoising methods are used to eliminate the noise from images without changing its characteristics and content. In all image processing applications, images are contaminated with the processing noise or channel noise. This contamination results in image quality degradation in both objective and subjective manner. To overcome this, image denoising approaches were suggested. In the advancement of image denoising in transform domain, dual tree complex wavelet transformation is observed to be an optimal upcoming solution. The advantage of processing the image in real and imaginary domain simultaneously gives the advantage of noise minimization in two domains. This complex wavelet transform process on two domains and perform the operation of denoising based on a thresholding process. This paper represents an comparative analysis of applying different threshold methods for image denoising on different images under variant noise condition using 2D dual tree complex wavelet transform and 2D discrete wavelet transform in terms of PSNR, MSE.

 Abstract

The objective of this work was in evaluate to efficacy of Trichoderma spp. based on production against chickpea Fusarium wilt and Tomato Fusarium wilt in field. This experiment was perform from October to march in Rajaula, Agriculture Department, M.G.C.G.V, Chitrakoot (M.P.). Morever, 11 treatments had been design in a Colum. Series of 11 treatments was carry 11 microplot (2x1.5 cm). During experiment perform, Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. Ciceri and Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. Lycopersici was mix in soil. However, plants did treated with nine isolate Trichoderma spp. Therefore, evaluated to production of microplot, T1, T2, T3 was good for tomato production and only T4 was good for chickpea production to tomato product.T6 was represent very low efficacy for production in comparison to other treatment. Consituently, experiment was prove that different Trichoderma spp. have different efficacy and provide defence from wilt.
