There are only two living representative of Probocidea, the African Elephants (Loxodonta Africana) and the Asian Elephant (Elephas maximus) are still living in the blue planate even after a prolong evolution of the species since the Eocene. The Great Elephant Census of 2016 conducted in the 18 African countries estimates that only 352,271 Great Elephants left in the savanna of Africa. Whereas the conservationists believe that the number of the African savanna elephant was as high as 20 million prior to the European colonization. In 1979 the number reduced to 1.3 million and still declining rapidly.

The diabetes-associated mortality rate is increasing annually, along with the severity of its accompanying disorders that impair human health. Worldwide, several medicinal plants are frequently urged for the management of diabetes. Reports are available on the use of medicinal plants by traditional healers for their blood-sugar-lowering effects, along with scientific evidence to support such claims. The Asteraceae family is one of the most diverse flowering plants, with about 1,690 genera and 32,000 species. Since ancient times, people have consumed various herbs of the Asteraceae family as food and employed them as medicine. Despite the wide variety of members within the family, most of them are rich in naturally occurring polysaccharides that possess potent prebiotic effects, which trigger their use as potential nutraceuticals. This review provides detailed information on the reported Asteraceae plants traditionally used as antidiabetic agents, with a major focus on the plants of this family that are known to exert antioxidant, hepatoprotective, vasodilation, and wound healing effects, which further action for the prevention of major diseases like cardiovascular disease (CVD), liver cirrhosis, and diabetes mellitus (DM). Moreover, this review highlights the potential of Asteraceae plants to counteract diabetic conditions when used as food and nutraceuticals. The information documented in this review article can serve as a pioneer for developing research initiatives directed at the exploration of Asteraceae and, at the forefront, the development of a botanical drug for the treatment of DM.

In the era of increasing digital interconnectivity, cyber resilience in supply chain and transportation infrastructure has become paramount. This article explores the multifaceted challenges and solutions related to cybersecurity in these critical sectors. We begin by contextualizing the significance of cyber resilience against the backdrop of escalating cyber threats that have profound implications on global supply chains and transportation networks. Utilizing a comprehensive literature review, the study identifies key vulnerabilities and the evolving nature of cyber threats. We then present a methodological approach that blends qualitative and quantitative analysis, drawing on data from industry reports, case studies, and expert interviews. The core of the article delves into the strategies for enhancing cyber resilience, including technological innovations, organizational best practices, and policy-driven approaches. We provide a critical analysis of current policies and regulatory frameworks, highlighting their strengths and areas needing improvement. The article also showcases real-world examples and case studies where effective cyber resilience strategies have been implemented, offering valuable insights and lessons learned. In addressing the challenges and future directions, we discuss the role of emerging technologies like AI and blockchain, underlining their potential and limitations in bolstering cyber defenses. The study concludes by emphasizing the importance of a proactive, integrated approach to cybersecurity, underscoring its critical role in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of supply chains and transportation infrastructures. Aim: To determine the impact of lifestyle-related behaviour in post'Covid-19 patients and also to determine the "lifestyle-related behaviour" in post Covid-19 patient so that proper treatment can be given to the patients to improve their lifestyle. Methodology: In this study 72 post COVID-19 patients were included according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria with verbal and written consent, from all the subjects to fill the questionnaire. Data collection was done within 3 months. During that period lockdown happened due to the COVID-19 second wave so some subjects could not filled the questionnaire properly. Some subjects consumed time to filled the questionnaire so we called them and to understand the importance of questioner and explained the things properly. Then the data was collected. Age wise differences was found to be significant across change in participation in cooking new and traditional recipes as well as change in sleeping hours among COVID-19 patients. While gender wise differences were found to be significant across change in skipping one of main meals among COVID-19 patients. Whereas, occupation wise differences was found to be significant across change in balanced diet, change in participation in cooking new and traditional recipes, change in immunity boosting foods, change in learning healthy eating tips from the media, change in aerobic exercise, change in sitting and screen time, change in quality of sleep and change in stress and anxiety levels among COVID-19 patients. This study confirms the current study's findings that COVID-19 has an impact on people's employment and unemployment. Changes in participation in cooking novel and traditional foods, as well as changes in sleeping hours, were found to be significantly by age among post COVID-19 people, gender differences were shown to be significant across changes in skipping one of the main meals. Whereas variations in occupation were found to be significant across changes in a balance diet, change in cooking new and traditional recipes.

Title: EFFECT OF PROGRESSIVE MUSCLE RELAXATION TECHNIQUE IN REDUCING DEPRESSION AND IMPROVING QUALITY OF LIFE OF BURN PATIENTS Authors: Dev K.1, Yogesh.2 1.Assistant Professor, Department of Physiotherapy, GJUS&T, Hisar 2.MPT, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar Aim: To evaluate the effectiveness of the PMRT in reducing depression and improving QOL in post- burn patients. Burn patients are seen to be very depressed after the injuries and it affects their activities of daily living (ADLs). So this study may help in reducing the depression and improving the QOL with daily physiotherapy techniques. Methodology: The study enlisted the participation of 10 patients who met the inclusion criteria. They were randomly assigned to the experimental group (PMRT with routine physiotherapy program), which consisted of ten patients. PMRT was given one session each day for two weeks, for a total of ten sessions. PMRT is a simple relaxation method that may be mastered quickly. It is a low-cost remedy that requires little training. It is a mind and body relaxation technique that involves progressively tensing and relaxing muscle groups. The relaxation response reduces sympathetic nervous system tone by limiting the stress reaction. Muscle tension, oxygen consumption, blood pressure, heart rate, and respiratory rate are all reduced as a result of this action. Result: The pre-assessment was done on the day of the first meeting after discharge, and the post-assessment was done after the 2-week exercise routine was completed. The patients were given an audio and leaflet with instructions, and their progress was tracked by phone calls. After a week, there was a significant improvement in depression reduction and mental components of QOL, as measured by the Beck Depression Inventory and the SF 36, respectively. Conclusion: PMRT has shown to be effective in lowering depression and enhancing quality of life. As a result, PMRT can be incorporated into burn rehabilitation.

From ancient time herbal medicines have been used for curing of various fatal diseases in human beings world wide. In recent studies medicinal values of herbs have been extensively recognized. The potential fungal contamination of medicinal herbs affects its quality due to the presence of mycotoxins. Mycotoxins are secondary metabolites of fungi identified in many agricultural products and medicinal herbs screened for toxigenic fungi. The ultimate exposure and toxicities of mycotoxins can be diversely influenced by endogenous food components in different commodities of the medicinal herbs. The fungal pathogen is one of the major causes of serious diseases in growing crop because of poor health and biodeterioration of seeds. To realize this aspect, the study has been undertaken on ten medicinal plants belonging to different families. Aspergillus sp., Fusarium sp., Penicillium sp., Mucor sp. and Rhizopus sp. fungi have been isolated from the different parts of the medicinal plants. After aflatoxins analysis, presence of aflatoxin was proved in all samples. The present study suggests that detection of fungi and aflatoxins poses a risk for consumer's health and it is necessary to check the herbal drugs before allowing distribution for public use.
