New Historicism is a literary theory based on the idea that literature should be studied and interpreted within the context of both the history of the author and the history of the critic. Based on the literary criticism of Stephen Greenblatt and influenced by the philosophy of Michel Foucault, New Historicism acknowledges not only that a work of literature is influenced by its author's times and circumstances, but that the critic's response to that work is also influenced by his environment, beliefs, and prejudices. A New Historicist looks at literature in a wider historical context, examining both how the writer's times affected the work and how the work reflects the writer's times, in turn recognizing that current cultural contexts color critic's conclusions. New Historicism, then, underscores the impermanence of literary criticism. Current literary criticism is affected by and reveals the beliefs of our times in the same way that literature reflects and is reflected by its own historical contexts. New Historicism acknowledges and embraces the idea that, as times change, so our understanding of great literature.

This paper is an effort to evaluate the development of economy through promotion of tourism. The most important economic feature of activities related to the tourism sector is that they contribute to three high-priority goals of developing countries: the generation of income, employment, and foreign-exchange earnings. In this respect, the tourism sector can play an important role as a driving force of economic development. The impact this industry can have in the different stages of economic development depends on the specific characteristics of each country. Given the complexity of tourism consumption, its economic impact is felt widely in other production sectors, contributing in each case toward achieving the aims of accelerated development. Tourism is considered a competent driver of development in emerging economies. This study assesses the role of tourism in shaping the fundamental pillars of development in developing economies. Governments in the developing world support and promote tourism due to its high multiplier effects in terms of generating employment, increasing foreign exchange earnings, having a positive impact on the balance of payment, and stimulating the supply sectors of tourism; also, all these activities help to alleviate poverty.

Pre-breeding is the most promising alternative to link genetic resources and breeding programs. Pre-breeding refers to all activities designed to identify desirable characteristics and/or genes from unadopted (exotic or semi-exotic) materials, including those that, although adapted have been subjected to any kind of selection for improvement. As pre-breeding is being carried out, the resulting materials are expected to have merit to be included in ordinary breeding programs. Although there are some different concepts of exotics, Hallauer & Miranda Filho (1988) consider that exotics for pre-breeding purposes include any germplasm that does not have immediate usefulness without selection for adaptation for a given area. In this sense, exotic germplasms are represented by races, populations, inbred lines, etc. Consequently, the results of crosses between adapted and exotic materials, where different proportions of introgression are obtained and evaluated, have been denominated as semi-exotic materials. According to Hallauer (1978), the utilization of semi-exotic populations has been the most common procedure to evaluate exotic germplasms. To obtain promising results with exotics their reproduction is necessary for a few generations in order to allow genetic recombination accompanied by mild selection. Before useful recombinants can be selected a minimum of five generations of random mating with mild selection pressure is indicated (Lonnquist, 1974).

Harmful algal blooms (HABs) are an emerging serious environmental issue but that act as the most appropriate indicator for propollution activities. Reason for the concern is mostly due to variety of toxins made by Cynobacterial species present in bloom, and formation of bloom is due to high concentration of P, N and other micronutrition. . Besides human health hazards cyanobacteria also pose economic hazard in terms of cell fish poisoning and also disturb ecosystem balance. Formation of HABs is dependent on variety of abiotic factors. High phosphorus availability is a defining and limiting factor that controls bloom formation. Many global studies have linked nutrient loading with bloom formation. Each HAB event has some regional specificity that is to be studied in detail in order to forecast and manage HAB. HAB forecasting can be a good way to predict and thus control factors that contribute to the formation of HAB. There are studies where forecasting tools have successfully helped in managing phosphorus and in turn HAB. Many studies have used remote sensing as a tool to create a monitoring and forecasting model. Remote sensing based analysis of Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) is a good way to monitor and predict bloom formation.

Advertising has become more insidious, more persuasive part of everyday life because it is visible and unavoidable. Unlike products Services are very difficult because of its characteristics. The advertisement is using as one of the major marketing tools of service industry. Because of this NBFCs are challenging to make advertisement and therefore marketers have to utilise the most suitable strategy as well as advertising appeal to communicate and market their services. Through this research researcher make an attempt to study and examine the effectiveness of celebrity advertising in NBFCs. As well as the consumer response in service advertising. Qualitative methods like in depth interviews and quantitative method like survey have been used to collect the data. For data analysis purposes used simple average, pie-diagram, charts and five-point rating scale. The results showed that there is a positive impact on celebrity advertising. Moreover, advertising with celebrity strategy was more effective for building trustworthiness among its customers and ads with celebrity helped to remember the particular brand of NBFCs.

India reported the first case of COVID-19 in Kerala on 30 th January 2020. On 25 th March 2020, a complete lockdown for 21 days was imposed in India. It has been more than a year since the first lockdown in India due to COVID-19 as a result of which colleges remain shut for most of the time. Online classes are the new normal for the students since then. Objective of this study was to understand the changes in dietary behavior and food choice due to online classes among college going girls (18-25 years) studying in Delhi on account of COVID-19. Cross-sectional research design was used for the study. The participants included college going girls (18-25 years) studying in Lady Irwin College, University of Delhi (n=110). Data was collected after taking the consent of the participant through questionnaire via Google forms. The data was coding and analyzed on MS Excel. Continuous data was analyzed using measures of central tendencies. For the categorical data, chi square test was used for analysis of data. Consumption of baked goods increased 5.4% in physical classes to 11.8% in online classes. Consumption of fruits and salads and homemade food also increased during online classes accounting for 17.3% and 33% respectively. Consumption of carbonated beverages decreased from 18.1% to 3.6%. Students binge eat more frequently during physical classes (37.3%). There has been significant differences (p< 0.05) between online and physical in terms of binge eating and food choices among students.
