ABSTRACT Occupational health is the concern of human wellbeing. The service giving resulting in workplace health problem booming workplace safety and health hazards now a days, considered as a driving force. Industrial workers are vulnerable to various diseases and accidents are common in factories. They do not have much knowledge on the various occupational health hazards and the way to preventing it. The aim of this study was to assess the effectiveness of STP on knowledge regarding occupational health and safety precautions among industrial workers at Ador Multiproducts Ltd, Kattukuppam, Puducherry. A cross sectional study was conducted among 60 industrial workers in Puducherry. The samples were selected by a convenience sampling technique.Data were collected using demographic variables, health profiles and self-administered questionnaires. A structured teaching programme (STP) was administered. After 15 days of STP, a post-test was conducted. Analysis of the study results showed that STP has significant positive impact on knowledge level regarding occupational health and safety precautions. Among 60 workers, six (10.0%) workers were having inadequate knowledge regarding occupational health &safety precautions, 43(71.7%) workers were having moderate knowledge,11(18.3%) of them were having adequate knowledge after STP. The STP was found to be highly effective in improving the knowledge level on occupational health and safety precautions among industrial workers. In this study, there was a significant association found between knowledge level of industrial workers regarding occupational health and safety precautions and their educational status of industrial workers.

With a difference in expression, mode and medium of connotation and stringed directive intonation language is one of the strongest means of communication between all the organisms in the universe. Progress and progression of language and its artistic horizon expanded with the growth of civilization. The grammatically skilled, scientifically balanced and universally acceptable narrative techniques adopted by the writers of ancient, medieval and modern times played contextually purposive role and influenced the world of knowledge and wisdom since the ages. The crippling afflicted bodies or 'bio-psycho-physically: the other' characters are portrayed in almost all fiction and non-fiction literature with a pre-notioned and prejudiced dimension and projected them as a symbol of wickedness, villain, criminals, product of sin, representatives of devils and demons and ugly negative energy. This statement is harsh to digest but it is the ground reality of the ill fated marginalized bodily subalterns. On the contrary there are many rational thinkers, social reformers, revolutionist, social doctors who have put hard efforts to expose the extremity of the pathetic, miserable and horrible life lead by the persons with disabilities. Indra Sinha, the most creative humanist strived hard to pave the path and throw light on the burning issue and sufferings of disable persons especially the disaster hit victims and their offspring of post disaster Bhopal gas tragedy. An epistolary magical novel Animal's People is known for its unique style of narration which indirectly reflects the long term, ghostly aftermath effects of Bhopal gas disaster. The main character in the novel, an unreliable narrator Animal, through his recorded narrations sensibly voiced over the specificity of bio-psycho-physical status of crippled affliction duly evocating the miserable conditions of the victims of disastrous environmental imbalances and ugly faces of capitalistic attitude of the dominants over the marginalized disables. Indra Sinha wisely and consciously adopted innovative narrative techniques and strategies to focalize the voices of the voiceless, symbolized the vulnerable state of disabled bodies with reference to contextual scenario of post disaster global socio-economic and political stands. The author in his eco-critics, plotted the peculiar characters like Animal (Jaanvar), Zafar, Elli Barber, Ma Franci, Nisha, Somraj, Farouq, The Kampani, Chunaram, Anjali and Zahreel Kahn and the strategies adopted to symbolize each character with an intension to expose the human complexities of inter and intra personal relations with corresponding socio-economic-political stimuli.

Mechanical ventilation is a life-saving procedure, used for critically ill patients who are unable to breath spontaneously. However, patients on mechanical ventilation are susceptible to develop complications i.e, Ventilator-Associated Pneumonia (ventilator care). Incidence of ventilator care ranges from 5% to 67% with the highest rates seen among immune compromised, surgical, and elderly patients. The estimated risk of developing ventilator care is 1.5% per day and decreases to less than 0.5% per day after the 14" day of mechanical ventilation. Ventilator care increases the duration of hospitalization by 7 days and thereby the cost of health-care. Ventilator care is classified into early-onset (occurring 5 days) and late-onset (occurring 25 days) ventilator care after intubation.

Weavers are one of the backbones of the Indian economy, contributing not only to livelihoods but also to the preservation of our cultural heritage. Despite their creativity and skill, they face numerous challenges in their day-to-day lives. Every saree they weave is a product of deep thought and effort, where the mind and heart work together to create timeless designs. The weaving process is labor-intensive, often requiring the combined efforts of entire families. Depending on the design and structure, a saree can take anywhere from two days to several weeks to complete. Women, too, contribute significantly, weaving sarees during their leisure hours. Tamil Nadu, in particular, is renowned for its handloom traditions, producing a wide variety of sarees such as Kanjeevaram silk, Arani pattu, Chettinadu cotton, Madurai sungadi, Chinnalapattu and Kovai cotton. While the government provides various welfare schemes, weavers continue to face hardships, especially when sarees remain unsold. Dead stocked sarees often suffer damage, leading to financial losses for both weavers and outlets. To address this, proposed a system where unsold or slightly damaged sarees are collected, sorted, and creatively repurposed. These revived products can then be reintroduced into the market, ensuring income for weavers while minimizing wastage. This initiative would not only support the weaver community but also promote sustainable production, circular economy practices, and zero-waste principles in the textile sector. By valuing every saree and finding ways to extend its life cycle, we can safeguard the livelihood of weavers and preserve the rich tradition of handloom weaving. The power system is a complex network of generation, transmission, and distribution entities. With the increasing integration of alternating energy sources like wind-solar power, grid stability and power quality have become significant concerns. The major power quality issue are voltage sag & swell that can cause mal- operation of sensitive electronic equipment. This research work suggest a technique like voltage sag control through desired power devices known as Dynamic Voltage Restorer (DVR) and STATCOM. A modified control system with compact switching devices and improved compensating capability is presented. The proposed technique utilizes voltage injection and pulse width modulation (PWM) signal control to mitigate sag/swell disturbances. The designed system results reflect the effectiveness of the desired mitigation methods or technique under various conditions. This project focuses on modeling and analyzing a DVR with a PWM-based controller using simulink, Highlight the most efficient control techniques for improving the power quality.

Peripheral edema, severe proteinuria, and hypoalbuminemia often in combination with hyperlipidemia are the hallmarks of nephrotic syndrome (NS). People typically exhibit fatigue and edema, but no indications of severe liver disease or heart failure. NS can be identified by its distinctive medical symptoms, hypoalbuminemia, and severe proteinuria. Understanding NS outside of the clinic necessitates paying consideration to its epidemiological trends, lifestyle causes, and preventive methods, even though its clinical manifestations and management are well-established. With a growing burden seen in both developed and low-resource nations, this study summarizes global and regional epidemiological patterns, emphasizing differences in prevalence among age groups, gender, and geographic contexts. The importance of lifestyle and environmental factors, such as eating patterns, obesity, sedentary behavior, and exposure to environmental pollutants such pesticides, heavy metals, and air pollution, is highlighted by new research. Disease risk and consequences are further increased by socioeconomic variables, especially poverty, delayed access to healthcare, and urban-rural inequities. Understanding disease heterogeneity also heavily relies on immunological triggers and genetic predispositions. Crucially, there are ways to lower the incidence and course of disease through preventive measures that range from public health initiatives that support a healthy diet and regular exercise to early screening of groups at risk and reducing environmental exposures. This review highlights a comprehensive approach to NS by combining epidemiological findings with lifestyle and prophylactic aspects, thereby bridging the gap between clinical therapy and community-level health promotion.

Migration, whether forced, induced by conflict, or chosen for opportunity--has profoundly shaped the cultural and literary landscape of Northeast India. English-language writers from the region as well as migrant voices who have settled there portray the psychic ruptures, contested identities, and resilient adaptations that accompany dislocation. Drawing on postcolonial trauma theory, this article examines how selected novels, short stories, poetry, and creative nonfiction represent the pain and possibilities of migration. By analyzing works by Mitra Phukan, Anjum Hasan, Janice Pariat, Robin S. Ngangom, and non-indigenous commentators such as Sanjoy Hazarika, the paper argues that English-language literature from the Northeast functions as testimony, counter-narrative, and a space of healing.

Rajayakshma, classified as one of the Ashtamahagada in Ayurveda, represents a complex group of disorders characterized by vitiation of Tridosha and Saptadhatu. The Chathurvidha Nidana plays an important role in the manifestation of disease. Sahasa, Vegadharana, Kshaya, and Vishamashana. Each of these factors finds clinical relevance in contemporary medicine. Sahasa corresponds to pulmonary tuberculosis precipitated by physical strain. Vegadharana reflects sustained sympathetic overactivity, compromising immune function. Kshaya parallels the pathogenesis of HIV/AIDS, marked by immune depletion. Vishamashana aligns with primary intestinal tuberculosis, wherein malnutrition and impaired gut immunity facilitate infection. Here in this article an attempt is made to understand the current clinical relevance of Chathurvidha Nidana of Rajayakshma.
