During the year 2018-2019 a monitoring program of water quality of Patencheru industrial town near Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Is presented in this study. A number of chemical and pharmaceutical industries have been established for past three decades. Effluents from these industries are allegedly being straight discharged onto nearby land, irrigation fields and forming point and non-point source of effluence. Water Quality is reducing day by day due to globalization. Water gets polluted due to a number of reasons among these heavy metals are the main problem whose main sources are different types of industries like refineries, electroplating etc. Due to heavy metals pollution in water leads to severe disease in human beings. A number of physical, chemical, biological methods are stated for cleansing of water, but all have some sort of difficulties like disposal problem, expensive, not ecofriendly etc. The bio - sorption method has overcome all these problems and come up with 50-96% results/. Vegetal and fruitlet peels are working as bio adsorbents and work well with this method. It is very cheap and easy and very safe to use. Though, there is a necessity for spreading this research laboratory scale work to experimental plant scale so that the expensive bio adsorbents can be switched with these low cost expensive bio adsorbents.

Oral health is fundamental to general health and well being. A study was conducted to assess the effectiveness of video assisted teaching program on knowledge, attitude and practice regarding oral health among nursing students of selected college of Delhi. The objectives of the study were, to assess the effectiveness of video assisted teaching program in terms of knowledge, attitude and practices regarding oral health among nursing students of selected college of Delhi and to assess the effectiveness of video assisted teaching program in terms of gain in attitude score regarding oral health. Study was conducted through quantitative research approach with true experimental research design (pre-test post-test only control design). Tool used in the study were structured knowledge questionnaire, checklist and likert scale. Video assisted teaching programme was used as interventional module in the study. The study was conducted in Holy Family College of Nursing on 80 nursing students selected by simple random sampling technique. The data was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The result of the study revealed that there was a significant difference between pre-test and post-test knowledge score of the experimental group. The video assisted teaching programme regarding oral health was effective in increasing the knowledge, practice and attitude of the nursing students in the experimental group. It was concluded that the administration of video assisted teaching programme was effective in enhancing the knowledge, good practice and positive attitude among nursing students regarding oral health.

Breast cancer is a complex and heterogeneous disease that arises from genetic mutations and environmental factors. It is classified into various subtypes based on histological characteristics, receptor status, and molecular features, impacting treatment strategies and prognostic outcomes. This review explores the current understanding of breast cancer pathophysiology, highlighting advances in early detection, targeted therapies, and immunotherapy. We also discuss challenges in managing advanced stages of the disease, the importance of personalized medicine, and ongoing research efforts aimed at improving survival rates and quality of life for patients. Understanding these factors is essential for developing effective treatment protocols and patient-centered care strategies. Breast cancer remains a leading cause of cancer-related morbidity and mortality among women worldwide. This review comprehensively examines the multifactorial etiology of breast cancer, including genetic predispositions, hormonal influences, and lifestyle factors. We detail advancements in screening methodologies, such as mammography and genetic testing, which have improved early detection rates. Furthermore, we explore the evolution of treatment options, focusing on targeted therapies, and personalized medicine that cater to the specific molecular profiles of tumors. This review aims to provide insights into current trends and future directions in breast cancer research and management.

Impulse buying behavior is a complex, spontaneous, and emotionally charged phenomenon influenced by a variety of personal, situational, and technological factors. This paper provides a comprehensive review of the existing literature on impulse buying, synthesizing research from consumer psychology, marketing, and behavioral economics. It explores the theoretical frameworks that explain impulse buying, including Cognitive Dissonance Theory, and the Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) Model, while discussing the emotional, environmental, and digital triggers that prompt impulsive purchases. Special attention is given to the role of technology, particularly e-commerce and social media, in reshaping modern impulse buying behavior. The review also examines the practical implications for marketers, emphasizing how businesses can enhance sales through strategic environmental and digital stimuli. Ethical considerations are addressed, particularly the potential harm caused by emotional manipulation and the financial burden placed on consumers. The paper concludes with recommendations for future research, highlighting the need to investigate impulse buying in emerging markets, the long-term effects on consumer well-being, and the evolving role of artificial intelligence in influencing buying decisions

Background: Total knee arthroplasty (TKA) is a common and painful orthopedic procedure, particularly in the immediate postoperative period. Standard pain management often relies on opioids and NSAIDs, which pose risks for elderly patients with comorbidities. Non-pharmacological interventions like music therapy are increasingly explored as adjuncts to pain management. This study examines the effect of Raag Anand Bhairavi, a Carnatic music raaga, on postoperative pain in patients undergoing TKA. Methods: This randomized controlled study was conducted at a tertiary care hospital in North India. Thirty patients undergoing simultaneous bilateral TKA were included, with 10 patients in the control group (Group A) and 20 in the intervention group (Group B). Group B patients were exposed to Raag Anand Bhairavi for two hours twice daily for three days postoperatively. Pain was measured in terms of breakthrough pain episodes during the first three postoperative days. Data were analyzed using t-tests to compare pain incidence between the groups. Results: No significant difference in breakthrough pain was observed between the groups on Days 0 and 1. However, on Day 2, Group B exhibited a significantly lower incidence of breakthrough pain (p = 0.048). This suggests that Raag Anand Bhairavi may have a role in reducing pain as the acute postoperative pain begins to subside. Conclusions: Raag Anand Bhairavi showed significant pain reduction on the second postoperative day but not during the immediate postoperative period. These findings support the use of music therapy as an adjunct in pain management for TKA patients, particularly after the initial 48 hours post-surgery.

Imeglimin is a new chemical that is being developed to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus. It is the first drug in the "glimin" class of medications that reduce blood sugar. Its distinct mode of action targets the three primary pathophysiologic elements of type 2 diabetes: increased ?-cell apoptosis, excess hepatic gluconeogenesis, and decreased muscle tissue uptake of glucose. Imeglimin has been assessed in numerous preclinical and clinical trials to far, and the results have demonstrated that it has noteworthy antihyperglycemic effects, including statistically significant decreases in fasting plasma glucose, glycated hemoglobin, and other glycaemic indices. Hopefully in the near future, its efficaciousness along with an attractive tolerability profile may allow it to be used as a monotherapy or in conjunction with other types of antidiabetic medicines.

Human security is a complex term. The present paper tried to study that though women constitute a significant portion of the workforce in the tea industry, performing hard task such as plucking tea leaves in adverse weather, yet they often face systematic inequalities. These include limited opportunities for upward mobility and poor working conditions. The paper also highlights the socio- cultural constraints that restrict their empowerment such as lack of education, limited health care facilities as well as vulnerability to exploitation. Besides the seasonal nature of tea work and dependency on a single crop economy further deepen their financial insecurity.
