 Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) remains a major health concern in India, with its psychological and social dimensions often overshadowed by biomedical approaches. This study explores the psychological effects of social isolation experienced by TB patients during treatment. Drawing on secondary data and thematic analysis of existing literature, the research highlights how prolonged treatment, hospitalization, and stigma contribute to feelings of loneliness, depression, anxiety, and stress among patients. Stigma--rooted in misinformation and cultural beliefs--emerges as a key driver of both social and psychological isolation, particularly impacting vulnerable groups based on age, gender, socio-economic status, and duration of treatment. The findings underline the urgent need for integrated psychosocial interventions, including counselling, peer support, and community education, within TB care programs. Addressing the mental health needs of TB patients alongside medical treatment is essential for improving adherence, reducing relapse, and enhancing overall well-being. This study advocates for a holistic, stigma-sensitive approach to TB management in high-burden settings.

 Abstract

Poykayil Appachan, one among the pioneer anti-caste activists and social thinkers from Kerala, articulated the absence of representation for his community by stating, "I can't see anything written about my people." He expressed this concern well before the issues of intellectual subjugation and epistemic invisibility among marginalized groups became widely discussed in Kerala. This paper explores epistemic erasure of Dalit women in Kerala by reviewing historical and modern debates on knowledge production and alternative narratives. Although Kerala is recognized for its high social indicators and widely regarded development model, there have been challenges in recognizing or representing the perspectives of marginalized groups. This paper examines epistemic erasure, focusing on the systemic underrepresentation or misrepresentation of Dalit women's experiences, perspectives, agency, and histories. By analysing several notable movements, the author explores the intersections of caste, gender, patriarchy, and internal power dynamics within the Dalit community. The paper examines how Dalit women writers and activists assert themselves and express agency in mainstream discourse

 Abstract

Abstract: Jajabor alias Binoy Mukhopadhyay was a writer, lyricist, and journalist. Many people may not know his real name, because he used to write his works under the pseudonym 'Jajabor'. We call those who are constant travelers, vagabonds, and have no fixed place of residence, those who are not. The name jajabor is associated with the writer Binoy Mukhopadhyay. Because, just like the jajabors, he traveled all over India, courtesy of journalism, similarly in his works we get news of different countries and times. On the one hand, just as he wrote about the Mughals and the English, so too the words of the Israelis are captured in his writings. As well as history, his works contain geography, humor, metaphor, alliteration, satire, and the use of strong language. While roaming around like a nomad, the writer returns to the stories of the Mughals and sometimes kings of India. From there, the English, and again, the Israelis found similarities with those Englishmen.

 Abstract

Abstract: This research article examines the notion of hybrid masculinity in Girish Karnad's renowned play Hayavadana. Utilizing frameworks from gender theory and postcolonial studies, the analysis reveals how Karnad constructs male identities that challenge dominant norms by merging traditional ideals with fragmented and incomplete selves. A detailed exploration of characters such as Devadatta, Kapila, and Hayavadana illustrates how the play complicates the notion of coherent masculinity through themes of bodily fragmentation, emotional vulnerability, and performative inconsistencies. This study adds to the expanding scholarship on Indian drama, masculinity studies, and hybridity by highlighting Karnad's critique of the myth of male wholeness within a culturally syncretic context.

 Abstract

Chelating agents are ligands possessing multiple donor atoms that form stable, ring like coordination complexes with metal ions. In medical inorganic chemistry, these compounds are essential for applications in detoxification, metal redistribution, imaging, targeted therapy, and novel bio medical strategies.

 Abstract

The agarbathies industry in Karnataka, particularly in districts like Bangalore, Mysore, Mandya, and Chamarajanagara, plays a vital role in cultural and spiritual life. This study evaluates how brand image influences customer loyalty based on parameters such as fragrance, quality, packaging, emotional attachment, and satisfaction. Information was collected from 400 respondents using structured questionnaires. Descriptive and inferential statistics revealed that 91% of respondents value brand consistency and emotional appeal. In particular, 85% reported that fragrance and quality strongly influenced their repurchase behavior. ANOVA findings show that age, income, and education significantly impact loyalty perception (p < 0.05). Mean score analysis revealed that "brand fragrance" scored the highest at 4.41, while "digital promotions" followed with 4.15, reflecting strong marketing influence. Correlation analysis indicates a strong relationship between brand image and repeats purchases (r = 0.59, p < 0.01). Moreover, over 76% of participants valued digital promotions and personalized packaging as loyalty enhancers. Respondents who experienced better customer service and consistent quality rated brand satisfaction higher at 4.25. Operationally, companies with strong branding strategies, effective digital engagement, and region-specific marketing showed improved loyalty metrics. These findings highlight the importance of emotional branding, sensory appeal, and trust in building long-term customer relationships in the agarbathies sector.

 Abstract

Chhattisgarh, often referred to as the “Herbal State of India,” is renowned for its rich heritage of traditional medicinal knowledge. College campuses and other educational institutions, with their green open spaces, can act as micro-reserves for conserving indigenous flora. This study presents a comprehensive survey and ethnobotanical documentation of 104 plant species found within the campus of Government M.M.R.P.G. College, Champa, Chhattisgarh. The documentation includes local names, botanical names, families, habits, parts used, and medicinal or practical uses of each plant. This inventory aids in the preservation of indigenous knowledge and can support future research, conservation efforts, and applications in traditional medicine.

 Abstract

This study investigates the complex social, political, and economic issues that tribes in India's traditionally neglected KBK (Kalahandi, Balangir, Koraput) regions are facing. The study reveals recurrent patterns and trends that have impacted the socio-political and economic landscape of the area through the use of historical analysis and archival research. The result highlights these communities' tenacity and stresses the need for more comprehensive and successful policy initiatives to lessen their enduring hardships. Additionally. The study examines how globalization affects tribes in both positives and negative ways, especially in light of recent economic reforms in India. Even with these improvements, problems in rural areas especially in the KBK districts like poverty and economic inequality still exist. In order to address the ongoing struggles of Scheduled Tribe communities in India, which are primarily characterized by economic and social marginalization. A primitive existence, geographic isolation, and educational backwardness, the study also emphasizes the need for more inclusive policy measures.
