 Abstract

The significance of validity, uniqueness, and reliability in the iris biometric validation system for person identification is covered in the study. The validation method is built on iris recognition and fingerprint technology, which is very genuine and distinct from other recognition systems. The shortcomings of the unimodal biometric system are addressed by the multimodal biometric procedure. This procedure considers noise sensitivity, population coverage areas, hacker vulnerability, a variety of intra- and inter-class concerns, and non-universality requirements. The convolutional neural network (CNN) approach, in particular, is the primary emphasis of the paper's deep learning-oriented machine learning system. Using real fingerprints, the fingerprint-based iris recognition technology verifies people's identity for use in high-security protection systems.

 Abstract

The advancement in human needs, what we call the development, is deeply suffering from the basic concept of existence and identity in form of "sustainability. The natural solar radiation, natural solar energy forms and the artificial green energy is the only solution for sustainable development. The fundamental source of this ultimate type of energy required is the Sun. In this communication, an attempt has been made to parameterize the natural variability factors in solar radiation due to changes in earth-sun relative positions and orientations even for the same place and the given surface. The solar radiation assessment challenges are classified as: regular annual cycle variation factors, regular daily cycle variation factors, place variation factors, surface variation factors and the natural atmospheric attenuation factor.

The African Union has been granted enhanced jurisdiction to mediate conflicts in Darfur and Abyei, including inter-state and intra-state disputes, tackle ideological threats, and engage in peacebuilding initiatives. The AU Charter has strengthened the member states' ability to tackle conflict-related matters via collaborative efforts. According to Article 3(f) of the Constitutive Act of AU, the goals of the AU is to promote stability, security, and peace. Additionally, Article 4(e) of the AU stipulates that one of its core values is the nonviolent settlement of disputes between member nations. The African Union consistently and legitimately dispatches its Pan-African forces to regions experiencing armed hostilities. Over the years, the African Union (AU) has proved that it is committed to proactively managing and resolving violent disputes in Africa. This article evaluates the AU's approach to avoiding, confining, and resolving interrelated violent crises inside and between African states. The analysis has primarily examined AU's involvement in resolving conflicts in Darfur and Abyei, taking into account the extended duration of armed conflicts in these two cases.

 Abstract

The buccal region of the oral mucosa offers an effective pathway for systemic drug delivery. Medications administered through the oral mucosal layer bypass the gastrointestinal tract, which often has a high first-pass metabolism and can degrade drugs. The buccal drug delivery system allows for direct absorption into the systemic circulation, enabling painless administration, rapid enzymatic action, high bioavailability, and reduced liver metabolism. However, oral drug delivery routes are often limited by significant presystemic metabolism, which can lead to drug breakdown in acidic environments due to poor absorption. Buccal delivery is an appealing option because it allows for easy administration through the buccal mucosal membrane lining the oral cavity. This review paper provides a comprehensive overview of the oral mucosa, mucoadhesion, factors influencing the process, assessment methodologies, and strategies for overcoming challenges in formulating buccal drug delivery systems.

 Abstract

This article discusses the issue of willpower in Hoda Barakat's novel Tiller of Waters, which is set among the ruins of Beirut during the Lebanese Civil War. The protagonist, Niqula, must negotiate a landscape of physical and mental destruction while dealing with the loss of his history, identity, and humanity. Willpower emerges as a guiding force throughout his journey, helping him to survive the trauma of battle while resisting despair. This study examines Niqula's psychological difficulties, as well as his relationship to memory and survival, to see how Barakat presents willpower as a way of both inner resilience and resistance against destructive forces. In doing so, the novel provides a moving reflection on the fragility and power of the human will in the face of great tragedy.

 Abstract

Strong medicinal substances are developed in large part by the use of medicinal plants. Approximately 80% of people in underdeveloped nations still receive their main medical treatment from traditional medicine. Phytochemical screening of neem, licorice, cassia tora and hibiscus extracts reveals different profiles of bioactive compounds. Phenolics are present in neem and hibiscus, but not in licorice and Cassia Tora. Tannins are commonly found while steroids are found only in Neem and Cassia Tora. Alkaloids are found in all but licorice, and glycosides are found in neem and licorice, but not in Cassia Tora and Hibiscus. Flavonoids are the same in all extracts, suggesting a common phytochemical class. The evaluation parameters show that all four substances are solid, odorless and have a similar brown color. Their loss on drying ranges from 0.11 to 0.23% and the pH of their 1% aqueous solutions ranges from 3.2 to 4.3. Licorice has the highest yield (50%) and Cassia Toral the lowest (28%). Total ash content is highest in neem (8.5%) and acid insoluble ash content is highest in licorice (4%). Water-soluble ash varies slightly, with values for water-soluble extracts ranging from 7.8% for licorice to 9.5% for neem. Licorice contains the most alcohol-soluble extracts (3.8%). Solubility tests show that all substances are soluble in distilled water, ethanol, benzene and petroleum ether. In acetone, neem dissolves slightly, while others dissolve completely. Unlike others, licorice dissolves easily in chloroform. Toluene dissolves Neem, Cassia Tora, and Hibiscus but not Licorice, highlighting selective solubility and unique chemical interactions with solvents.

 Abstract

The rapid advancement of healthcare technology has emphasized the importance of continuous, real-time monitoring of patients' vital signs and critical parameters. This project presents the design and implementation of an integrated health monitoring system The Innovative Security Solutions for Cloud-Based Key Access approach introduces a sophisticated access management system specifically designed for the digital environment, enabling smooth transitions and hierarchical access policies. This system empowers data owners from various organizational units to utilize any public cloud infrastructure as though it were a private cloud, ensuring stringent security. Regardless of their location, users within the organization can securely access the community cloud, both within and outside the corporate network. To control key access, our method leverages polynomial interpolation and Shamir's Secret Sharing algorithm. This approach is ideal for hierarchical organizational structures, offering a secure, flexible, and tiered access mechanism. Through the use of topological collation in directed graphs, including self-loops, only users with the necessary support from peers or higher-level users can access the key. This effectively mitigates the challenges associated with migrating mission-critical data to the community cloud. Additionally, our scheme significantly reduces storage overhead in both public and private contexts, while maintaining efficient key derivation computations. From a security perspective, our solution is resilient against collaboration attacks and ensures key in distinguishability. Importantly, the key is never stored, thereby eliminating the risk of data breaches from key exposure. In essence, our key access management system provides a robust solution for organizations seeking to exploit the benefits of public cloud systems while maintaining strict control over access to sensitive data. It incorporates advanced security features, reduces storage requirements, and removes the risks associated with key disclosure.
