The present study examines the relationship between rigidity and adjustment among secondary school students. Rigidity, understood as the tendency to resist change in thoughts, beliefs, or behavior, can influence how individuals adapt to academic, social, and emotional demands during adolescence. Using a descriptive survey method, data were collected from a representative sample of secondary school students through standardized psychological scales measuring rigidity and various dimensions of adjustment, including emotional, social, and educational domains. Statistical analyses were employed to determine the nature and strength of the relationship between the two variables. Findings indicate that higher levels of rigidity are generally associated with lower adjustment scores, suggesting that cognitive and behavioral flexibility may play a critical role in fostering positive adaptation in school settings. The results have implications for educators, counselors, and policymakers in designing interventions to promote adaptability and well-being among adolescents.

Abstract: India is known for its rich biodiversity with several endangered and endemic conditional plants in its hotspot. Among the 400 flowering plants worldwide, 315 families are presented in India. It is a vast repository of traditional knowledge and provide source for several medicines. Even now rural communities and households practice folklore medicines to cure common ailments. These medicines combine traditional healing practices, spirituality and therapies to diagnose and prevent elements. NEP2020 (4.27) clearly mention that Knowledge of India will include knowledge from ancient India and its contribution to modern India and its successes and challenges and clear sense of India's future aspirations about education, health, environment. Indian knowledge system including tribal knowledge, indigenous and traditional way of learning of many subjects including tribal ethno-medicinal practices, forest management, yoga, medicine etc. This research paper attempts to review the role of folklore herbal medicinal system regarding holistic approach to health and healing in the perspective of Indian knowledge system. The study solely based on secondary data. The research found that from Vedic period to later time folklore herbal medicinal system played pivotal role in curing the health and healing of people. Reviving ancient folklore herbal medicinal system is need for today's world. The more we are reaching the highest in technology. The better we need to take care of health. Hence, there will be a probability of huge demand for herbal practices as they have no side effects and people want to cure themselves without taking allopathic remedies. Moreover, we need to understand the true meaning of IKS where we share and care people. Since we need to live our life meaningful, instead of overthinking about materialistic life. Eventually, we can conclude that from Vedic period to later our ancient Indian renowned sages always been taking care of entire Gyan Parampara including various subjects. So, the Knowledge and understanding of these traditional practices can makes us feel rooted to our nation and sense of pride in our Bhartiya Gyan Parampara.

Man and Human civilization pre historically depend upon the environment. All aspects of humanity can't ignore the presence of nature. Strong relationship between man and environment especially in the present day scenario turns social scientist into the arena of debate. How much dependence of human society on environment is efficient? This is the pertinent question of time. Over exploitation of nature is not only harmful for present generation but it may also nullify the concept of sustainable development. Again to whom, the responsibility of environment management be restored upon. We all exploit environment for meeting our needs but are we committing ourselves for environmental up gradation? In this paper we are going to highlight some issues relating to man and environment. The paper contains the better side of the relationship and negative aspects of the relationship also.

ABSTRACT Background: An estimated 15 million babies are born pre term every year. Approximately 1 million children die each year due to complications of preterm birth. Nearly 3.5 million babies in India are born too early, 1.7 million babies born with birth defects, 40% of neonatal deaths happen during labour or within 24 hours due to the Pre-maturity (35%), neonatal infections (33%), birth asphyxia (20%) and congenital malformations (9%). Results: It was identified that total newborn admissions in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (Intramural) and Referral Newborn Unit (Extramural) were 1128 from January 2022 to December 2022 at Rajah Muthiah Medical College and Hospital, Chidambaram, Cuddalore District, Tamilnadu. The prevalence of preterm birth was 456 (40.42%). In which, 271(59.42%) of them were moderate to late preterm (32-37 weeks), 144 (31.57%) were early preterm (28-32 weeks) and 41 (8.99%) were extreme preterm birth (<28 weeks), totally, 353 were inborn and 103 were outborn. The common Health Problems of Preterm Neonates was assessed among 100 preterm neonates and it was found to be feeding problems (100%), hypothermia (92%), breathing problems (62%), Congenital Anomalies (7%), Neural Tube Defects (2%), skin infection (2%), Meningitis (1%), Birth injury- (1%) and Down syndrome (1%).

Sustainability is a critical issue in today's society. Organizations can no longer consistently grow their businesses without society's cooperation. Marketing managers thus focus on satisfying consumers' socio and ethical needs, such as through providing cultural promotion, nvironmental protection, and disaster relief activities. Sustainability encompasses an organization's economic, social, and environmental responsibilities, provoking the question of how to implement them effectively. This study focuses on the traditional fashion market's sustainable marketing activities and their performance. The results demonstrate that the traditional fashion market's sustainable activities have a positive effect on brand image, trust, and satisfaction. Moreover, they have a positive influence on building brand loyalty. The results offer meaningful implications for corporate executive officers and marketers to create more effective sustainable management strategies.

The issues of forest fires pose a significant environmental threat which usually leads to loss of biodiversity, destruction of property and air pollution. This study proposes an intelligent environment monitoring system using Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) integrated with Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) model for real-time detection of forest fire. The data-set used for training the RNN algorithm is the Environmental Sensor Telemetry Data (ESTD) data-set from Kaggle data-set repository. The data-set was further pre-processed through data cleaning, normalization and the use of Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technique (SMOTE) for handling data imbalance. The RNN model presented is made up of 3 hidden layers with Tanh activation function and an output layer with Sigmoid activation function for binary classification of either there is forest fire or not. Google Colab development environment was used for implementation of the model and performance evaluation results of the system presented that the model attained an accuracy of 94.3%, precision of 0.9320, recall of 0.9417 and F1-score of 0.9368. The results indicates that the model is reliable and that the application of AI-driven WSN systems can be used to enhance early wildfire detection and environmental monitoring. Finally, future research could consider hyperparameter optimization, additional environmental factors and real-world deployment to further improve detection accuracy.

Initial Public Offering (IPO) is the process of issuing shares to the public for the first time by an issuing company to the public directly (McDougal et al., 2019). To raise the required capital for the business, most organizations go for public issues, and IPO is an important source among them. But sometimes there will be a huge difference between the issue price and listing price, as happened in a recent Hyundai Motors IPO, post-listing on stock exchanges, and one-month, two-month, and three-month performance of IPOs. Therefore, this paper aims to study the short-term performance of IPO listed on the NSE. The data has been collected from the NSE official website from 10th Feb 2024 -10th Oct 2024. The Listing Day, One month, Two Months, Three months, Six months, and One-year average returns are calculated for analysis. This paper found that most of the IPOs are mispriced, and it was found that there was a massive difference between the Issue price and the listing price. Thus, this paper suggests that before investing in any IPOs, investors should evaluate the past performance of a company and should be cautious enough to decide on investments in IPOs. This paper is helpful for investors, stock broking houses, QIBs, etc., in making proper investment decisions.

This study explores how poverty directly influences educational decisions in underdeveloped rural regions of Jammu and Kashmir. Through a structured survey of 150 respondents--students, parents, and teachers--it uncovers the emotional, financial, and practical choices families face when survival outweighs schooling. Results show that poverty leads to early dropouts, irregular attendance, and limited career aspirations. The study calls for systemic interventions to ensure no child is forced to choose between livelihood and learning.
