A disciplined, healthy, and well-organized lifestyle now heavily depends on effective time management. Time management is a crucial component in order to accomplish the objective, move forward methodically, and stay away from last-minute chaos. To find out the time management competency of prospective teachers, a study was conducted done. To study the time management competency and its different levels among prospective teachers for total sample. 300 prospective were chosen using the random sampling methodology and adopted the normative survey method. Time Management Competency Scale by D.N. Sansanwal and Meenakshi Parashar (2007) were used. The findings revealed that there are positive responses in between the different levels (Very Poor, Poor, Good and Excellent) of prospective teachers in time management competency for total sample. The current findings indicate that students possess a high degree of proficiency in time management.

Abstract The increasing urbanization and industrial growth in India have led to an unprecedented rise in waste generation, posing significant environmental and social challenges. Amid this scenario, women waste pickers play an indispensable role in waste segregation, recycling, and resource recovery. However, they remain one of the most marginalized groups, facing systemic neglect, gender discrimination, and hazardous working conditions. This paper explores the intersection of the Indian Knowledge System (IKS)--rooted in sustainable living practices--and modern waste management strategies, with a gendered lens. By examining the contributions of women waste pickers and the challenges they face, the paper highlights how IKS principles like composting, source segregation, and upcycling can be integrated into modern waste management systems. It argues that recognizing and equipping waste picker women with IKS-based skills can empower them economically, reduce gender disparities, and create a more sustainable and inclusive urban waste management ecosystem. Through case studies of initiatives like Pune's SWaCH cooperative and Bengaluru's composting programs, this study illustrates the potential of IKS in fostering sustainable livelihoods and addressing urban waste challenges. Policy recommendations focus on formalizing waste picker women's roles, providing skill development in IKS-based practices, and promoting community-driven waste management models.

This paper explores the intersection of oral histories and literary representations of the 1947 Partition of India, focusing on how survivor testimonies enrich, complicate, and deepen our understanding of this traumatic event beyond conventional historical and fictional narratives. Drawing upon a series of original interviews conducted with Partition survivors now residing in Dehradun Uttarakhand, the study identifies key themes such as displacement and loss, gendered violence, fractured communal relations, struggles of resettlement, and resilience. These lived accounts are examined alongside prominent Partition literature including Train to Pakistan by Khushwant Singh, Basti by Intizar Husain, and Azadi by Chaman Nahal to highlight how fiction reflects and refracts real historical trauma. These dual narratives, factual and fictional, create a more holistic portrayal of Partition's impact, revealing complexities often flattened in political or historical discourse. The study argues that oral histories not only validate literary depictions but also challenge and nuance them by introducing real-world contradictions and moral ambiguities. Furthermore, the paper emphasizes the continuing relevance of these narratives in understanding communal relations and forced migration in contemporary contexts. As the global refugee crisis and identity-based conflicts persist, the testimonies of Partition survivors act as powerful reminders of both human fragility and resilience.

The present research aims at exploring the role of GHRM practices to improve sustainability of Indian IT organisations. The research aims at filling the literature gap with regards to GHRM and how it affects environmental responsibility, employer branding and cost-benefit. Based on a survey questionnaire distributed to HRs, sustainability officers and the general employees working in various IT companies the study used Cronbach's Alpha where by the value of ? = 0.86(Strongly Reliability coefficients) in order to test the reliability of the survey instrument. The survey shows that 72% of the participants understand that sustainable development specifically GHRM is important while 65% consider it to reduce operational costs. Nevertheless, a study done recently shows that only 48% and 42% of the firms have fully integrated GHRM policies. Meaningful results that were established include the following; GHRM adoption has a direct positive relationship with corporate sustainability with correlation coefficient of 0.73. These findings confirm the CQ-RP instrument and indicate that although there is increasing evidence of end-user adoption of GHRM, there are still poor utilisations of GHRM. Finally, the research calls for a giant study to establish the degree, intensity and regularity of the sustainable influence of GHRM on business.

Woodward regulations consist of many units based on empirical guidelines that aim to estimate the absorption wavelength, specifically ?max, within the ultraviolet-visible spectrum for a particular compound. Factors considered in the calculations include the types of chromophores, the substituent auxochromes on those chromophores, and the solvent used. Examples of this include conjugated carbonyl compounds, conjugated dienes, and polyenes. For dienes, one set of Woodward-Fischer rules distinguishes between homoannular systems, where double bonds are found within a single ring, and heteroannular systems, where double bonds are spread out across two rings.

The current research investigated the predictive value of avoidant attachment style and emotional competence on subjective well-being in a sample of university students. Avoidant attachment style is associated with the experience of discomfort in emotional proximity, and the emotional competence is the ability of recognition, expression, and successful management of emotions. Subjective well-being is an important measure of mental health that reflects individuals' feelings about their emotional state and overall life satisfaction. A sample of 104 students from a university in Agra city, aged between 18 and 23, was evaluated using standardized assessments: the Measure of Attachment Style (MOAS), the Emotional Competence Scale, and the Subjective Well-Being Inventory (SUBI). The results of the regression analysis showed that the avoidant attachment style did not significantly predict subjective well-being, while emotional competence had a positive and significant relationship.

The cultivation of sugarcane has long been recognized as a major driver of agrarian transformation in Uttar Pradesh, the largest sugarcane-producing state in India. Among its districts, Gonda holds a distinctive position due to its extensive area under sugarcane cultivation and the presence of several sugar mills, which directly and indirectly shape the socio-economic landscape of rural communities. This study attempts to review and analyze the impact of sugarcane cultivation on socio-economic development in Gonda district with a special focus on income generation, employment opportunities, agricultural diversification, and rural industrialization. Sugarcane cultivation has provided a stable source of livelihood for small and marginal farmers, contributing to household food security and improved standards of living. Moreover, the sugar industry in the region creates seasonal and permanent employment, thereby reducing rural unemployment and underemployment. The availability of by-products such as molasses, bagasse, and ethanol further enhances local economic opportunities by promoting allied industries. However, the review also highlights challenges such as price fluctuations, delayed payments by sugar mills, soil degradation, and excessive dependence on a single crop, which pose risks to long-term sustainability. The findings underline that while sugarcane cultivation has significantly enhanced socio-economic development in Gonda district, ensuring equitable benefits for farmers requires policy interventions in timely procurement, infrastructural improvements, and the promotion of crop diversification. Thus, sugarcane remains both an opportunity and a challenge for balanced rural development in the district.
