 Abstract

Leadership is not an individual's attribute; it is basically a holistic vision. Effective co-ordination and collaboration between faculties, learners and parent of school management committee is essential for maintaining positive school culture. Continuous professional development of teachers, heads, principals and administrators is done by training. Democratic leaders promote high morale environment. Transformational leadership is needed for transforming society as it promotes motivation, inspiration and innovation. Curriculum should promote leadership so holistic development of learners could be done which in turn lead to development of nation. The National Education Policy focuses on Continuous professional Development of Heads and Principals. National Educational Technology Forum (NETF) would provide a digital platform for free exchange of ideas.

 Abstract

The Samaikyandhra Movement (2009-2014) emerged as a significant mass movement in Andhra Pradesh, driven by widespread opposition to the proposed bifurcation of the state to create a separate Telangana. The movement, which called for a unified Andhra Pradesh, saw participation from various sections of society, including students, government employees, and political leaders. It was marked by large-scale protests, strikes, and demonstrations across the Seemandhra region. The movement highlighted the deep-seated concerns over regional identity, economic implications, and the future of Andhra Pradesh. This overview explores the origins, key events, and impact of the Samaikyandhra Movement, emphasizing its role in shaping the socio-political landscape of the region during a critical period of state reorganization in India.

 Abstract

Basaveshwara(also know as Basava,Basavanna) the 12th century mystic by temperament, an idealist by choice, a statesman by profession, a man of letters by taste, a humanist by sympathy and a social reformer by conviction and made revolutionary contributions to the Kalachuri kingdom, by implementing many policies and reforms that were centuries ahead of their time. His visionary leadership laid the foundation for a more egalitarian society, challenging the deeply entrenched social norms of his era. A new form of literature called vachanas was invented as means of expression. Basavanna imagined a self-sufficient society with no discrimination of caste, creed, religion or sex. The concept of Kayaka which was propogated by him cuts the root of traditional caste hierarchy; embodying in itself the principles of the dignity and equality of the human beings as also the dignity of labour. It is in conformity with democratic principles and its objective is equitable distribution of work and also wealth. He was a motivating factor behind the establishment of Anubhava Mantapa, a socio-religious parliament.

 Abstract

Ice cube application has an analgesics numbing effect on soft tissues, due to a combination of decreased production of pain mediators and slower spread of nerve pain signals. Statement of the problem:A Quasi experimental study to assess the effectiveness of ice cube application prior to intramuscular injection in reducing pain among children between 8 and 12 years of age in selected hospitals at Kanyakumari district. Objectives:To assess the level of pain with ice cube application after IM injection in experimental group. To assess the level of pain without ice cube application after IM injection in control group. To assess the effectiveness by comparing the level of pain after IM injection between the experimental and the control group. To determine the association between the post test level of pain with the selected demographic variables in experimental group.Methodology:A Quasi experimental study with post test only control design was used to achieve the objectives of the study..Non probability convenient sampling technique was used to select the samples. The sample size of the study was 60 (30 in experimental and 30 in control group) respectively. The study was conducted in two phases, phase I and phase II respectively. Results:It reveals that in the Experimental group the mean post test score is 4.76 with standard deviation of 1.76. Whereas in the control group the mean post test was 8.3 with standard deviation 1.24. The mean difference is 3.54. The obtained unpaired t' test value was 2.16 which is greater than the table value (p=2.00) with the degree of freedom 58 at 0.05 level of significance. Hence the research hypothesis (H1) was accepted. There was a significant difference between post test level of pain among children between the age group of 8 and 12 years taken IM injection in experimental and control group t=2.16(p<0.05).Conclusion:From the results of the study, it is concluded that Ice cube application is not only cost effective but also easy to apply and shows a better effect. The nurses can include the Ice cube application in their routine activities to reduce the pain during IM injection.

 Abstract

Stroke often leads to upper limb impairments like hemiparesis and poor hand coordination, complicating tasks such as oral hygiene maintenance. This can result in dental issues and increased risk of aspiration pneumonia, a major cause of post-stroke mortality. Despite its importance, oral hygiene is often neglected in stroke recovery. This qualitative phenomenological study conducted semi-structured interviews with 10 post-stroke patients, identifying challenges related to physical impairments, emotional responses, and healthcare perspectives, and highlighting the need for low-cost interventions to improve oral care and quality of life.

 Abstract

This paper takes a deep dive into Sri Aurobindo's iconic poem, Savitri, a work that's both a masterpiece of Indian philosophy and a spiritual treasure trove. By closely examining the poem's symbolism, themes, and literary style, we uncover how Aurobindo's magnum opus captures the human journey towards self-discovery, spiritual growth, and connection with the divine. We also explore how Savitri fits into the broader context of Indian thought and Aurobindo's own vision, revealing why this poem remains a powerful inspiration for those seeking truth and beauty. This paper offers a fresh perspective on Aurobindo's work and the enduring significance of Savitri as a spiritual and philosophical classic. Aurobindo's philosophy and spirituality has always been a source of motivation and upliftment and the story of Savitri has been a fascinating one. The combination of the religious and philosophical aspect of the story described in a poetic style is something which is found in Aurobindo's version of the same. Inspired by this beautiful work of literature this paper is an effort to comprehend the understanding of the epic.  Abstract

This study critically examines the independence of the judiciary in the context of Article 21 of the Indian Constitution, which guarantees the right to life and personal liberty. The study highlights the inefficacy of in-house mechanisms for maintaining judicial conduct, which often undermine individual and internal judicial independence. It emphasizes the necessity of both judicial independence and accountability for an effective judiciary. The Indian judiciary system, comprising the Supreme Court, constitutional courts, and subordinate courts, faces significant challenges such as corruption, misconduct, and delays in delivering justice, leading to a backlog of over 40 million pending cases as of 2023. Article 21 has evolved through landmark Supreme Court judgments, expanding its interpretation to include the right to privacy and personal choices. Judicial independence is essential for ensuring impartiality, free from external pressures from the executive or legislative branches. The paper critiques the regulatory mechanisms for judicial conduct, which are found to be opaque, slow, and ineffective. For instance, a 2018 study found that over 30% of judicial corruption cases in subordinate courts remain unresolved due to ambiguous regulatory frameworks. Despite these challenges, the Supreme Court has made significant contributions to upholding constitutional values and protecting human rights, evidenced by the introduction of over 500 Public Interest Litigations (PILs) since 1980, which have played a crucial role in social change. The study concludes by calling for structural, organizational, and functional reforms to strengthen judicial independence and accountability, aiming to reduce the average case resolution time from 6 years to 3 years. Addressing these issues is crucial for enhancing the judiciary effectiveness and maintaining public trust.
