India has long had a commitment to combating climate change; it did not come about as a result of the UNFCCC or the Paris Agreement. In its 2014 Emission Gap Report, the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) identified India as one of the nations that is making excellent progress toward fulfilling its voluntary commitments to reduce climate change. Three percent of the total emissions between 1750 and the present are attributable to India. India is responsible for almost 13% of the total emissions. India was hesitant to accede to the Agreement's stipulation in 2015 that all nations establish national targets because of this. As of right now, India is the only significant economy whose NDC has been assessed at 2 degrees Celsius. In order to ascertain the impact of climate change on macroeconomic indicators over the study period, this study examines the dynamics of climate change based on greenhouse gas emissions. The country's changing climate is reflected in the temperature. As a result, the research uses the climate change model and makes calculations based on it. An analysis of the economic growth performance and climate changes from 2011-2012 to 2021-2022 was conducted using a multiple regression model. The model attempts to investigate the relationship between macroeconomic indicators and GHG emissions, temperature and GHG emissions, and indicators of climate change.

ABSTRACT The prospect of cyber terrorism is increasing in the present day due to increased utilization of internet services by terrorist groups that utilize the platforms to plan, publicize and even fund their activities. As can be deduced from this study, there are several features of cyber terrorism and how it works with emphasis on the ways to track down cyber terrorist organisations, rise of cyber currencies as sources of funding, and the techniques where different kinds of cyber technologies are used to undertake acts of terror or other related cybercrimes. As for the terrorists' objectives, they establish connections, propagandise, and organise on the internet, in the dark web, via encrypted messengers and social media. The means employed by these groups include encryption and decentralised communication, they make it challenging to observe and disrupt their activities. There has been a further erosion of traditional financial intelligence systems thanks to cyber terrorists who deal in Monero, Bitcoin and other decentralised currencies. These virtual currencies facilitate cross border transfer of money, anonymous transactions and financial regulation management hence making it possible to sponsor a terror activity without being detected. This work also discusses ransomware, malware, distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks, and targeted strikes on critical infrastructure as types of cyberterrorism. These technologies allow terrorists to terrorize the society and without physically confronting each other they can paralyze essential services and steal information. Even more, this report highlights the imperative call for enhanced cooperation between nations, stiffer legal measures, and development of new generation security technologies in the battle against cyber terrorism threat. Hence, combating cyber-terrorism is difficult because of its global and transnational nature, thus requiring cooperation and coordination among nations in the monitoring of terrorist activities on cyberspace while at the same time minimizing on the risks associated with terrorism financing through cryptocurrencies. In this work, the challenges and novelties of combating cyberterrorism in the context of a digital war are discussed in detail.

As security is the most important aspect of day to day life, this paper presents a secured data transmission technology by using a half-duplex HC-12 transceiver module. This technology was used to generate and transmit text message. The advantage of this proposed technology is its long distance communication range. Also, unlike the mobile network which requires "pay as you go", this technology can be used for personal communication system in which information can be sent without any cost. More so, the message (data) is secured as it is encrypted at the transmitter side. In order to decrypt the message at the receiving side, standard algorithm such as Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) was employed. AES is a symmetric algorithm that requires only one encryption and decryption key. The implemented technology is a two-way communication system in which the user can transmit and also receive text information. Based on the result obtained, it was observed that the text message (data) was transmitted securely within a short time. By comparing the transmitting and receiving time for 8-bit and 16-bit messages for different distances, the proposed AES algorithm took 2 seconds to transmit 8-bit and 16-bit messages for 100m and 200m distances while 5 seconds was taken to transmit 16-bit messages over a distance of 400m.

In the present time where the importance of Computer Technology and Artifical Intelligence has increased, by that, the modern system of the present world is in the hands of people. Yet there are some people who are deprived of modern facilities. Those who do not have the means to eat two meals a day. If we observe, we will see that there are about 75 tribes in India who are socially and economically backward. They are called Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups. In West Bengal only three communities are regarded as a Vulnerable Tribal Groups viz. Bihor, Lodha and Toto. They don't know much about modern technology. The minimum they need is food, clothing, shelter and education. Some hostels have been created for their educational development. One such hostel is Lodha Samaj Sevak Sangha Ashram Hostel, Debra. The study investigated the facilities and the educational services provide for school going students in the Lodha Samaj Sevak Sangha Ashram Hostel. The study was qualitative in nature. A case study design was used on this study. The study concluded that: (1) As per the present educational structure the hostel needs to be technologically modernized, (2) Per head Government grant of students is very low, (3) For staying at hostel specially girls class limit should be increased (from class IV to onwards).

Abstract Keywords: Material culture, flood, Mishing community, indigenous knowledge. Floods have ravaged portions of India from times immemorial. Though floods are one of the very few well recorded natural phenomena, the catastrophic damages caused by them attracted focused attention in recent decades. With increasing population pressure and accelerated economic development, the adverse effects of floods are being increasingly felt now. Flood cause great distress whenever they damage material objects and endanger lives. Assam is one of the highly flood prone state in India. In Assam vast stretches of land are submerged under water and other adverse effects are caused, such as destruction or damage to houses, cultivated land, property, bridges, roads and other means of communications, lives lost etc. year and year. Flood damages are the combined result of the natural phenomenon of floods coupled with the human activity in the flood plains. The fertile river silt has promoted large-scale settlements and cultivation of lands near the river banks and the adjacent areas or even the river bed region. While these activities are increasing on hand, on the other river continue to experience varying magnitudes and intensities of floods which cause damages, sometimes in the disastrous proportions. In the present study the focus was placed on studying the impact of flood on material culture of Mishing community living in a flood prone area and understanding the way members of the community are adapting to flood using their indigenous knowledge. A field work was conducted among the Mishing people of Archi Majorbari village inhabiting on the bank of river Dimow under Sissiborgaon Development Block of Dhemaji district. *Dr. Dipa Patir, Assistant Professor, Silapathar Science College, dipapatir1@gmail.com
