In most societies, there are strong norms and pressures for them to find a partner and have children. Therefore, a generation of males born without an equally large number of women means that many males cannot adhere to these social norms. It may also affect their long-term economic prospect. Gender differences within the workplace are an important topic of discussion in todays society. While many cultures and countries are striving for gender equality, there are still differences that exist in the workplace.Gender differences can be seen in the different roles that men and women take on, the types of jobs they choose, their career paths, and their salaries. Men often take on leadership roles and are more likely to work in STEM-related fields. Women, on the other hand, often take on roles in the social sciences, healthcare, and education. Additionally, women are disproportionately represented in lower-paying jobs and tend to earn less than men for comparable positions.

Sericulture is the process of cultivating silkworms and extracting silk from them. The caterpillars of the domestic silk moth (also called 'Bombyx mori') are the most commonly used silkworm species in sericulture. Approximately 80% of silk fiber is made up of fibroin, which is concentrated at the core. This core is surrounded by a layer of sericin (which makes up the remaining 20% of silk). The presence of pigments (such as xanthophyll) in the sericin layer of the fiber imparts colour to the silk. Finally, the silk filaments are woven together to form a thread. These threads are often implied together to form a yarn . The silk industry of Assam also witnessed a serious downfall during the lockdown.COVID-19 Lockdown has put strict restrictions by completely shutting all shops, institutes, organizations and vehicular movement except emergency services. The paper aims to study the impact of sericulture on the socio-economic conditions in Sualkuchi along with the impact of Covid-19 on the production of Muga Silkworm in Sualkuchi.

This study examines investor sentiment and market response in the health care industry, focusing on a case study of Global Health's initial public offering (IPO). The health care sector is known for its dynamic nature, and IPOs in this industry often attract significant attention from investors. Understanding investor sentiment during such events is crucial for gauging market expectations and potential implications for the company and the broader industry. The research analyses the investor response to Global Health's IPO by examining stock market trends, trading volumes, and price movements before and after the offering. Additionally, sentiment analysis is conducted using social media data and financial news articles to gauge public perception and investor sentiment leading up to and following the IPO. The findings reveal the overall sentiment of investors and how it influenced market behaviour during the IPO. By understanding investor sentiment and market response, this study provides insights into the health care industry's dynamics and the factors that drive investor interest and confidence in health care companies' IPOs. The study's results can be valuable for investors, industry analysts, and policymakers seeking to better comprehend the health care sector's investment landscape and market expectations during IPOs.

India is one of the largest flower producing countries in the world. According to the estimates of the national horticulture board, in 2021-2022 the production is 341.63 million tonnes across the country and according to the statistics, floral waste is one of India's biggest pollution, accounting for nearly a third of all solid waste in the country. Floral waste degradation is an extremely slow process compare to degradation of kitchen waste, thus no suitable modes for disposal of this significant organic solid waste. In nature microorganisms do not live isolated, they co-exist with microorganisms establishing relationship that makes the highly complex organic compounds into simpler forms. The present study was taken to develop efficient microbial consortium to degrade the flower waste. Soil samples were collected from different places in which the flower waste were dumped. The isolation and screening of microbes that are capable of degrading the flower waste is performed with the help of flower extract media. A flower-based media was used to develop a microbial consortium for degrading flower waste instead of conventional microbial media. The different enzymatic test was performed to find out the enzymes produced by the organisms to degrade the flower waste. One chamber was created with inoculation of the microbial consortium along with flower waste and another chamber with flower waste without the microbes. Degradation was checked at different time intervals and it showed that the microbial consortium helped in degrading a large amount of flower waste faster.

Anaemia in pregnancy exists worldwide. Anaemia in pregnancy is a public health problem in developing countries like India. This cross-sectional study was conducted in the rural areas of Purba Medinipur district, West Bengal, India from July 2020 to June 2022. A total of 358 pregnant women were included in this case study. We used the Odds Ratio (OR) with 95% Confidence Interval (CI) to examine the strength of the association between anaemia and exposure variables and the association between maternal anaemia and adverse pregnancy outcomes. The study found 68.16% of pregnant women to be anaemic in the district under study whereas the percentage of anaemic pregnant women in West Bengal is 62.3%. The study found that 63.93%, 31.15% and 4.92% of pregnant women suffer from mild, moderate and severe anaemia respectively in Purba Medinipur district. The logistic regression analysis revealed that maternal age, educational status, occupation, monthly family income, socio-economic status, gravida, interpregnancy interval, pica habits, antenatal care visits, meals frequency/ day during pregnancy, and history of food insecurity within the past 12 months were significantly associated with anaemia among the pregnant women at p value <= 0.05. Maternal anaemia is significantly associated with poor pregnancy outcomes like preterm and LBW. It is highly recommended that awareness and education programs regarding the regular intake of iron-folate supplements, nutritious diet and iron-rich foods, regular antenatal care visits, hygienic practices and birth spacing in pregnancy should be started at grass-root levels to prevent anaemia in pregnant women.

Although the benefts of current anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury prevention programmes have been demonstrated in efficacy studies, they, unfortunately, have had limited public health impact to date. For example, the incidence of ACL injuries continues to rise in adolescent athletes. Raising awareness and educating coaches and athletes is not enough to facilitate the widespread, sustained use of these programmes in the real-world setting. Considering the profound burden of ACL injuries, it is necessary to continue to improve the current ACL injury prevention programmes through co-creation. First, the uptake of the programmes should be optimized by a better appreciation and understanding of the individual, socio-cultural and environmental context (i.e., community). Second, the content of the programmes should be optimized to better reflect the demands of the sport by creating more ownership and increasing motivation (incorporating challenging, sport-specific and fun elements) with the end-users. In addition, implicit motor learning, random practice and differential learning are concepts that should be integrated when practicing to obtain the most optimal results when learning or fine tuning skills. Considering the profound burden of ACL injuries, it is necessary to continue to improve the current ACL injury prevention programs through co-creation with the end users. The context of the player and the demands of the sport (content) should be included when designing ACL injury prevention programs.

UCC is the most widely debatable topic throughout India. India is a secular State in the sense that it has no state religion and every religion is equal in the eyes of state. India allows its citizen the Right to Freedom of religion as fundamental rights under part- III of Indian constitution. The concept of secularism is not static, definite or fixed. It changes with the change of practice of the religion, views and socio-political landscape of the country. The personal laws related to marriage, divorce, succession and inheritance, maintenance, custody of the children and adoption. By tradition the personal law is treated as religious though religion has nothing to do with it. Therefore the language of Art 44 needs correction to mean that the direction is to secure a uniform personal laws6 .
