Drug delivery technology advancements have changed the pharmaceutical sector in recent years. One such invention is the self-emulsifying drug delivery system (SMEDDS), which offers decreased toxicity, increased therapeutic efficacy, and improved bioavailability. SMEDDS are especially helpful for medications classified as Class 2 in the Biopharmaceutical Classification System (BCS), which has low bioavailability and poor water solubility. We shall examine SMEDDS and their potential for BCS Class 2 medication delivery in more detail in this blog article. We will also discuss how SMEDDS technology is expected to develop in the future and how this could alter the landscape of medication delivery.

Caste remains an important social, political, economic, cultural and psychological phenomenon in various spheres of Indian social life. The Indian caste system is seen as a hierarchical system where at the lower level are groups such as Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes and Other Backward Castes who experience caste-based discrimination in almost all spheres of their lives. Social adjustment refers to the balanced performance of various social roles by an individual to achieve his or her real goals. The main objective of this study was to find out the effect of caste on social adjustment in adolescents. Keeping in mind the objective of this study, three hypotheses were formulated which are as follows: (i) Social adjustment of Scheduled Castes will be better than Scheduled Tribes, (ii) Social adjustment of Other Backward Castes will be better than Scheduled Castes, and (iii) Social adjustment of General Castes will be better than Other Backward Castes. For this, a total of 100 adolescents aged between 17 to 21 years were selected as samples from A N S College Barh (Patna) using the purposive sampling method. Data collection was done using the Mohshin-Shamsahd Adaptation of Bell Adjustment Inventory (1987). The data obtained was analyzed using various statistical tools like mean, SD, ANOVA, and p-value to get meaningful results. The result showed that on the level of social adjustment Scheduled Castes were better than Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Castes were better than Scheduled Castes while General Castes were better than Other Backward Castes.

Herbal nail lacquer is a type of nail polish formulated with natural, plant-based ingredients. the utilization of herbal extracts, essential oils, or other natural compounds. Onychomycosis is an infection of the nail due to fungi that include dermatophytes, non-dermatophyte molds, and yeast (Candida species). More than 90% of cases have this dermatophyte infection, which is mostly brought on by trichophyton rubrum and Candida species. Herbal nail lacquer has been designed and developed in this study for the treatment of onychomycosis. An oleuropein compound found in olive leaves has shown potential as an antifungal agent. Incorporating it into herbal nail lacquer could aim to achieve effective treatment against onychomycosis. It was anticipated that this would increase patient preference as well as potency. The nail lacquer preparation was designed by maceration for extraction and simple mixing and analyzed for thin layer chromatography, gloss, smoothness to flow, viscosity, water resistance test, drying time, and determination of antifungal studies. In this study, the formulation was prepared by using Eudragit RL-100, ethyl acetate, ethyl cellulose, dibutyl phthalate, salicylic acid, acetone, Clitoria ternatea (a coloring agent), and alpha-santalol (a smelling agent). The prepared medicated nail lacquer was evaluated for various parameters such as organoleptic characters, drying time, smoothness of flow, gloss, and water resistance that showed satisfactory results. Among all formulations, the F4 formulation was highly effective due to its good water resistance (0.05 g), quick drying time (60 s), good film thickness (0.14 mm), good viscosity (147 cp), and best zone of inhibition. From the above studies, it can be concluded that medicated nail lacquers proved to be a better tool as a drug delivery system for the transungual drug delivery of an antifungal in the treatment of onychomycosis. It can also be used for the beautification of nails with ease of application.

The status of any social group is often assessed based on indicators such as literacy levels, education, health, and overall standard of living. Tribal women, like women in many other social groups, generally exhibit lower literacy rates compared to men. This disparity is evident in their reduced levels of educational attainment, lower enrollment rates in schools, and less frequent presence in educational institutions.

Study of water quality tells about present status of unstable water for domestic use. Indiscriminate and wasteful water consumption and improper waste disposal practice have led to deterioration of both, surface water and subsurface water. Due to the pressure of human activity, urbanization and industrialization, the ground water sources are degraded gradually. Therefore pure, safe, healthy and odorless drinking water is matter of deep concern. There are many pollutants in ground water due to sewage viz, organic and inorganic pollutants, heavy metals, pesticides, fluoride etc. The purpose was to ascertain the quality of water from these sources. These were analyzed for Acidity, Alkalinity, Chloride, Hardness, pH, Fluoride and Nitrate using standard techniques in laboratory.

This article explores a morally urgent question--"is there any human right not to suffer from severe poverty, and if yes, then does it entail any corresponding duties, either positive or negative to minimise the suffering of global poor?" It does not deny the contributions of Western moral cosmopolitans' right-based approach in addressing global poverty rather it humbly attempts to highlights some of its moral insufficiencies in addressing acute global poverty, especially in the Global South. It explores why right-based approach is a "noble lie or hollow promise" to the global poor in the absence of any plausible framework of duty. In the 'institutional approach', my primary focus will be on Thomas Pogge for the reason that he is the leading global justice theorist of our time and have done significant work in this area Having discussed problems and limitations of Thomas Pogge's institutional cosmopolitan right-based approach in addressing global poverty, I will be exploring Indian conception of human rights and how Gandhi's understanding of the relationships between rights and duties helps us in addressing global poverty in a better way.
