 Abstract

This research focuses on creating and validating a HPLC method to concurrently measure Tamsulosin HCL and Fexofenadine in pharmaceutical products. The method development involved optimizing chromatographic conditions using a Symmetry C18 column and a mobile phase composed of Buffer, Methanol, and Acetonitrile (BMA, 50:10:40, pH 5 adjusted with OPA). These conditions resulted in well-defined peaks with satisfactory separation and symmetry for both substances. Validation of the method included assessing linearity over a concentration range of 4+1800 to 12+5400?g/ml for each compound, demonstrating strong correlation coefficients (R^2 > 0.999). Specificity testing confirmed that there were no interferences from excipients, ensuring precise quantification of the drugs. Accuracy studies showed recovery rates between 95-103%, indicating the method's reliability in determining drug concentrations. Precision studies revealed low %RSD values (<2%) for both intra-day and inter-day variability, indicating excellent repeatability and reproducibility. The method's sensitivity was assessed with LODs of 0.36?g/ml for Tamsulosin HCL and 163.75?g/ml for Fexofenadine, and LOQs of 1.08?g/ml and 496.20?g/ml, respectively. The developed RP-HPLC method was successfully applied to analyze a synthetic mixture containing Tamsulosin HCL and Fexofenadine, confirming its suitability for routine quality control analysis in pharmaceutical formulations. Overall, this method provides a reliable approach for accurate and precise quantification of Tamsulosin HCL and Fexofenadine in complex matrices.

 Abstract

Tourism Entrepreneurship: It's Role in Socio-economic Development of Western Assam. Dr. Phatik Chandra Kalita associate Professor HOD. Department of Commerce Bongaigaon College, Bongaigaon. Assam. Email: reachphatikkalita@gmail.com Tourism industry is considered as one of the oldest and is the largest and fastest growing industry in the world. Tourism is a multi dimensional industry which is characterized by the sectors like transportation, communication, tourist guide, hotel and restaurant etc. There are number of segments in the tourism entrepreneurship, like eco-tourism, green tourism, techno-tourism, agri-tourism, home based tourism (HBT), health tourism, religious tourism, educational tourism, cultural tourism, adventured tourism etc. The tourism and travel industry in the world has been dominating by the Europe and United State of America (USA). In a study it is found that almost half of the world tourists every year come from these two countries. The Tourism entrepreneurship has got higher priority in the development agenda of India after the inclusion of it in the General Agreement on Trade in 1994 (World Trade Organization, 2002). In India, this industry's direct contribution to the GDP is expected to record an annual growth rate of 10.35% between 2019 and 2028.The transformation process of the Indian economy has already been started from public sector to the private sector and further pro-poor (PPT Participation) to Public Private Participation. As a result of globalization and liberalization of the Indian economy it has been observed that there are radical changes in the service sector particularly in the tourism sector during the last two decades. The state of Assam is the gate way of the entire north eastern states and the South East Asian Countries. Geographically the state is divided in to three segments like, Upper Assam, Lower Assam and Uttar Assam or north bank of Brahmaputra River.. The Lower Assam or Western Assam is well connected with the other parts of the country as well as the other states of the North Eastern Region. The entire Lower Assam or the Western Assam is full of natural beauty and tourist attraction spots. The present study is trying to highlight the probable prospects and opportunities for tourism entrepreneurship and its contribution to the economic development of the region.

 Abstract

This proposal describes the arrangement based on the Einstein de-Haas experiment. An externally applied magnetic field magnetized the ferrite core by giving microwave power frequency to the coil around the ferrite core. Ferromagnetic resonance is achieved due to the effect of the interaction of spin precession magnetic moments due to Zeeman splitting on the macroscopic magnetization of the material. The core attains negative permeability at ferromagnetic resonance. Due to negative permeability, the ferrite counteracts the magnetizationdue to the applied DC electric field given to one end of the ferrite core. In certain scenarios, negative permeability can lead to the expulsion of the magnetic field resulting in B equal to zero inside the material. This induced phenomenon is somewhat analogous to the Meissner effect observed in superconductors. In the case of negative permeability, the negative magnetic response effectively shields the material's interior from external magnetic fields. The curl of the magnetic field is zero resulting in a net force equal to zero on the moving charge carriers.

 Abstract

Background & Introduction-Ageing is an irreversible process; the effects of a sedentary lifestyle are very evident in most people due to inactivity. When physical capacity falls below the ability required for the performance of daily tasks, functional limitations and a loss of independence may occur. Hence aim of the study is to see the Effect of functional exercises versus conservative treatment on pain, function and hand grip strength in elderly Subjects. METHODOLOGY-This experimental study was conducted on 30 male and female subjects (aged above 60 years) without any severe illness. 30 subjects were divided into 2 groups, Group A was taught functional tasks exercise and Group B was taught conservative exercise for dominant hands, three days per week for total of 4 weeks. For the outcome measures, Hand functions was evaluated through Michigan hand outcome questionnaire and grip strength was measured using handheld dynamometer. Statistical analysis & Result - The data collected was tabulated and data analysis was done by using the IBM SPSS software version 26 and Microsoft excel was used for graphs .The mean and standard deviation of all the variables were analyzed. Non parametric test were used since the data was not normally distributed and the result were considered significant if p<=0.05. There was significant effect in pre and post mean values of functional tasks exercise group and conservative exercise groups on grip strength ,functions in dominant hand (p<=0.05) . But on comparing the mean difference values of hand grip strength and Michigan Hand Outcome measure score between both the functional tasks exercise (Group A) and conservative exercises (Group B), functional tasks exercise shows more significant effect in improving the grip strength and hand functions in elderly subjects. Conclusion- Both functional tasks exercise group (Group A) and conservative exercise group (Group B) have significant effect on improvement on hand function and grip strength in elderly subjects. But statistically, functional tasks exercise shows more significant effect in improving the grip strength and hand functions in elderly subjects.

 Abstract

Introduction: Ankylosing spondylitis (AS) is an inflammatory condition of uncertain etiology that primarily affects the axial skeleton, but peripheral joints and extra-articular structures are frequently associated. According to the Siddha Classical Literature on Disorders of the Body and Mind, Yuhi Vaidya Chinthamani 800, the disease Thandaga Vatham, which is characterized by symptoms of pain, bodily stiffness, profuse perspiration, yellowing of the urine and feces, pallor, curving of the spine, diarrhea, and chest congestion, is closely related to AS. Case Presentation: A 23-year-old female, diagnosed with HLA-B27 positive AS, visited the Outpatient Block, Government Siddha Medical College Hospital, Chennai, with concerns of pain while walking, trouble bending forward, and restricted hip joint movement for the past six months. Discussion: The Bath Ankylosing Spondylitis Disease Activity Index (BASDAI), the Bath Ankylosing Spondylitis Functional Index (BASFI), and the Bath Ankylosing Spondylitis Metrology Index (BASMI) have been used as standard techniques to assess the disease activity and quality of life of the patients. Thandaga Vatham (AS) was diagnosed, and Siddha treatment was provided for 48 days (1 Mandalam), which included Chitramutti Matakkut Tailam Peechu, Venn Kungiliya Ottradam, Thazhuthazhai Ilai Vedhu (external medication), Vatha Ratchasan Mattirai, Maha Vallathi Ilakam, and Agni Churanam (internal medication). Conclusion: Following the intervention, the patient's signs and symptoms were greatly reduced, and her quality of life improved. The combination of external and internal intervention with Siddha medications appears to be effective in treating AS patients. This study serves as a basis for further research projects on AS.
