 Abstract

In the contemporary era of digital connectivity, social networking sites like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter have achieved widespread presence, and Generation Z (Gen Z) has emerged as heavy users. While social media offers many benefits, there have been concerns about its potential adverse effects on the mental health of Gen Z. This report presents a synthesis of the challenges of excessive use of social media and examines its impact on the psychological well-being of Generation Z .The phenomenon of social comparison, fueled by curated online personas and idealized representations, has emerged as a significant factor influencing negative mental health outcomes among Gen Z. Constant exposure to complex images and lifestyles on platforms like Instagram can create feelings of inadequacy and promote feelings of social isolation. Isolation Cyberbullying is another major problem, as the anonymity and accessibility of social media platforms makes it easy to bully and intimidate online. The experience of cyberbullying can exacerbate Gen Z's stress and anxiety, weakening their mental resilience and well-being.In addition, the fear of missing out (FOMO) caused by social media, which shows the seemingly exciting experiences of peers, increases anxiety and dissatisfaction. Gen Z individuals may feel excessive pressure to participate in social activities and maintain an online presence, which increases stress and lowers self-esteem. While social media undoubtedly offers opportunities for connection and self-expression, its pervasive influence requires a nuanced understanding of its impact on mental health. By promoting digital literacy and promoting informed interactions with social media, stakeholders can empower Gen Z to navigate online spaces in ways that promote their well-being.This summary emphasizes the importance of continued research and dialogue at the intersection of social media use and mental health. The aim is to inform interventions and support mechanisms adapted to the needs of Generation Z in the digital age..

 Abstract

Nepal located in the seismically active region due to its geographical positions. Its ranks 11th in the terms of vulnerability of earthquake. In order to visualize the response of building during earthquake, it is important to do analysis of buildings for earthquake resistant also to withstand earthquake effect without the losses of life and property. This report on "Seismic Analysis of Public Building" has been conducted by incorporating all the stages of structural analysis and designing the elements. It consists of preliminary design, determination of lateral loads, structural analysis and detail design of structural elements. Preliminary design consists of assessment of tentative dimension of structural members such as beams, columns and slab. Loads on building have been determined using IS Codes. As Nepal lies on earthquake prone zone, structural analysis is conducted using ETABS. Seismic Coefficient (static) and Response spectrum (dynamic) analysis has been incorporated for analyzing the building. Sizing various members of the structures to resist the forces to which they might be subjected during their effective life span was done. This report portrays the work needed for the analysis and design of earthquake-resistant building systematically.

 Abstract

Consumer behavior is influenced by many different factors. With reference to purchase of generic Vs branded drugs in the market the major factors influence the buyer behaviour are price/cost of medicine, preference of doctor/ medical practitioner, quality/trust of the medicine, discounts/incentives given, media/advertisement, availability of medicine and influence of peer groups. Thus, the main objective of this article is to explore the consumer choice and factors influencing buying behaviour in purchasing of generic vs branded drugs. In this purpose data was collected from 50 generic medicines buyers and 50 branded medicine buyers with the help of a questionnaire. Hence, the data revealed that the purchase behavior of buyer in generic medicines most influenced by price/cost of the drug, discounts/incentives given on drug and media/advertisement given by the government, whereas the purchase behavior of buyer in branded drugs influenced by quality/trust of medicine, preference of doctor/medical practitioner and availability of medicine in the market. Thus, there is a significant difference in the influenced factors on purchasing behavior of buyer towards generic Vs branded drugs.

 Abstract

Background:Type 2 diabetes mellitus is a significant worldwide health issue characterized by high blood sugar levels, known as hyperglycemia. It is the most prevalent form of diabetes among affected individuals. In managing Type 2 diabetes mellitus, one effective approach is to inhibit ?-amylase, an enzyme involved in breaking down starch, which helps regulate blood sugar levels. Aim and objective:This study aimed to assess the ?-amylase inhibitory property of seenthil chooranam (SC), a siddha formulation used by siddha physicians in the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus, as it is considered a potential strategy for controlling blood sugar levels. Method: The spectrophotometric assay method was used to find alpha amylase inhibitory activity. Result: SC showed presence of ?-amylase inhibitiory activity (IC 50=332.3 ?g /ml) .Conclusion: This in-vitro study revealed the presence of the ?-amylase activity in the siddha formulation seenthil chooranam.

 Abstract

Water recycling projects are critical in alleviating the water scarcity difficulties that farmers in Karnataka. The purpose of this study is to throw light on the diverse impact of such activities on the agricultural sector and farmer livelihoods in the region. Karnataka, like many other Indian states, is dealing with irregular rainfall patterns, overexploitation of groundwater resources, and the unpredictability of climate change. In response to these issues, the state government has established water recycling initiatives in conjunction with many stakeholders, with the goal of alleviating water stress and promoting sustainable farming practices. Present study focusing on the following major points such as Water Availability and Reliability, Projects to recycle water, which entail treating and reusing wastewater, have greatly increased farmers' access to water. The risk of crop failure has decreased and farmers have been able to use more effective irrigation techniques, even during dry spells and droughts. Also Increased Crop Yields and Income of Farmers have been reported higher crop yields and revenues as a result of improved access to water resources.

 Abstract

This research aimed to compare the standard deviation of gravitational acceleration measured by various methods. The acceleration due to gravity (g) was measured using four methods: free fall, simple pendulum, physical pendulum, and Atwood's machine. The experiments were designed for students to determine the accuracy of the results by comparing the standard deviation of experimental result to the acceleration due to gravity. The data was analyzed and the result was interpreted

 Abstract

An upcoming cloud service called "secure cloud storage" is meant to safeguard the privacy of data that is outsourced while also giving cloud users who have data that is not under their physical control flexible access. Policy Attribute-Based Encryption (CP-ABE) with cipher text is considered one of the most promising methods that may be used to ensure service guarantee security. However, because of CP-ABE's inherent "all-or-nothing" decryption characteristic, using it may inevitably result in a security compromise known as the misuse of access credentials (i.e., decryption privileges). This project looks into two primary scenarios of access credential misuse in this paper: one involves a semi-trusted authority and the other involves a cloud user. Our proposal, called Crypt Cloud, is the first responsible authority and revocable cloud storage solution based on CP-ABE with white-box traceability and auditing to reduce misuse. Additionally, it provides the security analysis and use experiments to show off our system's usefulness

 Abstract

Everyone at home can learn online more easily with the advent of technology. Here, some of the problems and difficulties associated with online learning were encountered by both teachers and students. The purpose of this research is to investigate inspite of various difficulties that students have faced while learning online courses, how satisfied they are with the process. For the purpose of the study data were collected from 100 respondents through well structured questionnaire. The tools such as percentage analysis, weighted average score, chi square analysis and ANOVA were used for analysis.Based to the findings, the government should implement corrective steps to address the numerous issues. Additionally, since some students are unaware of the learning platforms that are accessible, platform operators could market through a variety of media. This makes it easier for the students to sign up for many courses on different platforms. According to the study's findings, students had problems with live sessions, time management, audio clarity, course fees, and other things.
