 Abstract

The present descriptive study was conducted with the aim of studying the effect of emotional intelligence and gender on academic achievement of higher secondary students. A sample of 540 Class 11th students (270 males, 270 females) was selected using Unproportionate Stratified Random Sampling Method from 12 Co-education, Hindi Medium Higher Secondary Schools (randomly selected using lottery method) of Durg-Urban area. Emotional Intelligence of selected respondents was measured using Emotional Intelligence Inventory (EII-MM) by Mangal & Mangal (2018) and for academic achievement their Class 10th Board marks were collected from school records. For descriptive statistics - mean and SD and for inferential statistics - 't' values were computed using SPSS Version 23. The study results reveal significant main effects of emotional intelligence and gender on academic achievement of higher secondary students.

 Abstract

Bakuchiol is a naturally occurring chemical that is extracted from Psoralea corylifolia seeds. It has gained a lot of attention lately because of its possible use as a retinol substitute in beauty products. The objective of this research was to create a hydrating gel that contains bakuchiol and assess its stability, physicochemical characteristics, and ability to provide anti-aging and moisturizing benefits. Various excipients including gelling agents, humectants, emollients, and stabilizers were selected and their concentrations were adjusted to achieve desired rheological properties and skin feel. Physicochemical characterization of the formulated gel was performed using techniques such as rheology, viscosity measurements, pH determination, and spreadability test to ensure its suitability for topical application. In summary, this study's outcomes show that a moisturizing gel encapsulated with bakuchiol can be successfully formulated with the desired stability and physicochemical qualities. Furthermore, the effectiveness research suggests that it could be a good skincare solution for moisturizing and anti-aging needs.

 Abstract

Education is an instrument for balanced development of an individual in relation to the community / society one belongs to. Personality of an individual is shaped by the culture in which he/she born in and raised. Hence, education is associated to culture and value system of the society. Further, it comprehends from general process of enculturation to that of a process of schooling. In light of the significance of education the ITDA serving the educational needs of the Tribal children in Bhadrachalam district of Telangana state. In this context the investigator made an attempt to know the Perception of Students towards Implementation of ITDA Educational Initiatives. The sample for the study were collected from the12 identified ITDA schools and 360 tribal students studying in ITDA schools by using simple random technique. The collected data was analyzed by using appropriate statistical technique like frequencies, and Percentages. The study revealed that the ITDA schools are providing Infrastructural facilities and meeting educational needs of the Tribal children.

 Abstract

Viruses, small intracellular parasites composed of RNA or DNA within a protein capsid, necessitate innovative antiviral strategies. Antiviral agents are classified into nonretroviral and retroviral categories, with nonretroviral inhibitors targeting non-HIV infections and antiretroviral drugs focusing on HIV. The Baltimore classification system organizes viruses by genome type and replication method. Viral DNA, once inside the host nucleus, transcribes into mRNA, producing proteins essential for replication, while viral RNA self-translates into necessary enzymes and structural proteins. Famciclovir, an acyclic guanine derivative, converts into the potent antiviral penciclovir upon oral administration. Effective against varicella zoster virus (VZV) and herpes simplex virus (HSV), famciclovir inhibits viral replication by targeting viral DNA polymerase. Clinical trials demonstrate its efficacy in reducing acute symptoms and postherpetic neuralgia, especially in older patients. Famciclovir also shortens genital herpes recurrence intervals, decreases viral shedding, and accelerates lesion healing. With a favorable tolerance profile and simplified dosing, famciclovir offers significant therapeutic advantages over acyclovir. It enhances patient compliance and serves as a crucial option in managing herpesvirus infections, underscoring its role in antiviral therapy and clinical practice.

 Abstract

Background: Badminton is a sport that requires a lot of overhead shoulder motion. Abduction, internal and external rotation of the shoulder joint during shots, lobbing, stroking and smashing were the cause of the injury. Shoulder pain and impingement of the rotator cuff caused by anterior instability of the shoulder joint are frequent problems for the athletes engaged in overhead motion. Painful shoulder conditions have been studied in tennis, baseball and swimming. Materials and Methods: In this study, subjects were randomly assigned to two intervention groups. The Study Design was Experimental in nature. The participants were requrited on the basis of inclusion and exclusion criteria using the purposive sampling. The sample of the study comprised 20 students. Each group consist 10 subjects. The experimental group (A) - 10 by using sleeper stretch and strengthening exercise. Control group (B) - 10 by using general warm up exercise who fulfilled the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results: The result depict that values of pre-test post- test VAS scores reduced significantly thus concluding experimental Group was significant than control group. The experimental group A is highly significant than control group B. Conclusion: This study concluded that group A intervention ie. modified sleeper stretch with strengthening exercise is effective in reducing pain of shoulder joint among Badminton players during overhead movement after six weeks of intervention.

 Abstract

In order to minimize detrimental effects on ecosystems and public health, environmental clearance is a crucial regulatory process for the construction of buildings. It guarantees that proposed projects adhere to environmental requirements. This thorough overview looks at all the different facets of environmental clearance, from implementation in practice to legal frameworks. First, it describes the legal prerequisites and regulatory agencies that are involved in environmental clearing, emphasizing national laws, municipal ordinances, and international conventions. Usually, the procedure include filing thorough Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) that assess potential environmental consequences, putting out mitigation strategies, and holding public meetings. The process steps, such as preliminary screening, scoping, impact analysis, and decision- making, are covered in detail in the overview. It also tackles everyday issues including public opposition, a lack of technical expertise, and bureaucratic delays. It also looks at the advantages of getting environmental clearance, like better community connections, lower liability risks, and increased sustainability. It is also covered how technology may improve the precision and effectiveness of environmental assessments by using remote sensing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to streamline the clearance process. Best practices and useful insights can be gained from case studies of effective environmental clearance procedures. The aforementioned instances highlight the significance of openness, involvement of stakeholders, and flexible administration in attaining desired results. To sum up, environmental clearance is a critical safety measure in building construction that strikes a balance between the demands of development and environmental preservation. The building sector can support sustainable development objectives and reduce its environmental impact by upholding strict environmental regulations and encouraging cooperative methods.

 Abstract

Employee engagement is an unavoidable function in an organisation to which employees are especially sensitive. So having the correct system in place is unavoidable for any organisation. For employees, the proper engagement system is one that they view as neutral and a true metric for measuring their performance, as well as one that rewards them fairly and without unfairness. The purpose of the study is to determine employees' opinions and perceptions of the existing engagement system. This study seeks to examine the acceptability of the existing system by which they are monitored. The study is conducted by collecting responses from industry employees. The response is obtained via a structured questionnaire. The results were validated using statistical methods
