Tribal communities of Arunachal Pradesh are rich in oral tradition; each has their own way of preserving their cultures and traditions; which is orally transmitted over generations. The Apatani tribe is one of the major tribal communities domiciled in the Lower Subansiri region and ginger plays a symbolic role in their traditional ritual observations and healing practices. Several ritual practices, oral narratives and taboos are also associated with Ginger. Therefore, this paper attempts to understand the socio-cultural significance of Ginger among the Apatani tribe, focusing on the Murung ritual. The primary data for this paper was collected through fieldwork in the natural socio-cultural context using anthropological research tools and methods.

Background: Work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs) are significant health concerns for various professions, including healthcare. Dentists are particularly susceptible due to the repetitive, demanding motions and fixed postures required in their work. This study focuses on assessing the prevalence and intensity of neck pain among female dental surgeons, a group known to be at high risk for musculoskeletal complications. Methodology: This cross-sectional observational study was conducted over six months, surveying female dental surgeons aged 25-50. A purposive sampling technique was used, with 60 participants included in the study. Data collection involved visiting private dental clinics and administering two questionnaires: the Numerical Pain Rating Scale (NPRS) for neck pain intensity and the Neck Disability Index (NDI) for neck pain-related disability. Results: Out of the 50 female dental surgeons assessed, 18 (36%) reported experiencing neck pain. The prevalence of neck pain was highest among those aged 36-40 (61.54%). Pain intensity, as measured by the NPRS, showed that 8 dentists reported mild pain, 9 reported moderate pain, and 1 reported severe pain. The NDI results indicated that 10 dentists experienced no disability, 6 had mild disability, and 2 had moderate disability due to neck pain. Conclusion: The study concluded that neck pain is prevalent among female dental surgeons, with significant variation in pain intensity and functional disability. The findings highlight the need for targeted ergonomic interventions and preventive measures to reduce the risk and impact of neck pain in this professional group.

Green financing plays a remarkable role in achieving comprehensive, inclusive, and sustainable economic and social development by fostering a more growing environment for all living beings on Earth. This study underlines the impressiveness of green finance in advancing Sustainable Development Goals. In today's era of advancing technology, the global economy faces four major challenges: environmental change, energy constraints, financial crises, and health issues. Sustainable finance acts as a crucial mediator in reconciling the global economy with nature. Green finance can be likened to the kidneys of the human body, purifying the Earth and eliminating waste. It forms the basis for ecological development, facilitating grasp over GHGs, reduction of ozone-depleting substances, and mitigation of air and water pollution. This study emphasizes encouraging indications that embracing green financial practices can significantly influence economic growth and overall welfare. In 2017, global investments in renewable energy saw a decrease of 3%, amid ongoing concerns about potential further declines due to the continued dominance of non renewable investments in the energy sector. This trend jeopardizes the expansion of green energy necessary for energy security and meeting climate and air quality goals. Many developed and developing economies still pursue coal-friendly energy policies, potentially offsetting emissions reductions achieved elsewhere.Finance serves as the engine driving infrastructure projects, including energy initiatives. Financial institutions often favor fossil fuel ventures over green projects due to perceived risks and lower returns on green technologies. To achieve sustainable development goals, there's a pressing need to incentivize green projects and enhance investments in environmentally beneficial initiatives. This can be facilitated through new financial instruments and policies which compiles green banks, carbon market mechanisms, green bonds, fiscal policies, green central banking, green technologies, community-based green funds, collectively known as green finance.

This paper examines the intersection of Alexander Pope's Enlightenment ideals and contemporary efforts for skill development in higher education. Pope's advocacy for intellectual development, critical thinking, and accessible knowledge, the study draws parallels with current initiatives aimed at enhancing skills in higher education. Through a qualitative approach, this study synthesizes insights from Pope's works, current educational literature, case studies, and policy analysis. The integration of intellectual and practical skills, the role of technology in enhancing learning, and the challenges faced in skill development initiatives. Pope's advocacy for deep, reflective learning aligns with contemporary methods such as Project-Based Learning (PBL) and adaptive learning technologies, which personalize education to meet individual needs. The paper discusses the relevance of Pope's philosophy in modern educational contexts, emphasizing the importance of fostering both intellectual and practical skills in students to prepare them for the demands of the 21st century.

This article delves into the critical imperative of safeguarding the rich tapestry of indigenous people's local traditions, encompassing their cherished customary practices, values, and ethics, and it's intrinsic connection to their cultural identity. In an era characterized by rapid globalization and technological advancement, preserving these time-honored traditions has become an increasingly vital undertaking. Geographical indications (GIs) emerge as a compelling solution, heralding a paradigm shift in the realm of cultural preservation. By bestowing legal protection upon products that bear a unique geographic origin and possess qualities or characteristics intrinsic to that locale, GIs stand as a formidable fortress against the encroaching tide of homogenization. Illustrating the profound impact of GIs, the article draws upon emblematic exemplars like Pisa silk, renowned for its intricate craftsmanship, Swiss watches, a pinnacle of precision engineering, and Florida oranges, synonymous with lush, sun kissed groves. These hallmark instances underscore the role GIs play in shielding traditions and elevating them to the global stage. A compelling case study, the Roquefort cheese, is explored in detail. Its distinctive sharp, tangy, and salty flavors, combined with a sumptuous creamy texture, owe their uniqueness to the bacterium 'Penicillium roqueforti,' thriving exclusively within the caves of southern France's Toulouse region. The confluence of the humid atmosphere, the indigenous bacterium, and the use of rich sheep's milk encapsulates the essence of GI protection. This safeguards not just a product but an entire ecosystem of cultural practices, ensuring that future generations can relish the historical continuity embedded within each delectable bite.

Orthopaedic infection is a global problem that affects both developed and developing nations. It has alarming consequences in environments with limited resources, including increased medical costs, drug resistance to commonly prescribed antibiotics, and difficulty in infection management that leads to high mortality. Therefore, even one surgical site infection is critical in orthopaedic operating rooms. Orthopaedic infection associated with SSI was seen in India with a variable epidemiology of 4.4%-12%. Orthopaedic infections affect the supporting tissues around the bones and joints.
