 Abstract

India faces a significant challenge of balancing its rapid economic growth with an urgent need to address the issue of climate change. India's economy is majorly associate to its natural resource, with climate-sensitive sectors like agriculture playing a crucial role. Climate change impacts on India's natural resources could be far-reaching, disrupting the distribution and quality of these assets and adversely affecting people's livelihoods. India's diverse agricultural landscape, comprising 15 Agro-climatic zones, supports various seasons, crops, and farming systems. For many Indians, agriculture is the primary source of livelihood, making it highly vulnerable to climate change. The sector's sensitivity to climate variability means any climate change will significantly impact Indian agriculture directly and indirectly.Central government has taken steps to support farmers, providing facilities like a dedicated television channel and call centres to educate and inform them about weather conditions, soil health, and the use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers. The Ministry of Agriculture and the National Action Plan for Climate Change play pivotal role in agricultural governance, ensuring gradual but steady growth in agricultural production. Sustainable agriculture holds great potential for meeting food security requirements while improving farmers' livelihoods by enhancing their net incomes and resource productivity. This paper highlights the potential for agricultural growth and adaptation to climate change and the process of agricultural governance in India.

 Abstract

In Andhra Pradesh, the economic implications of acquiring land for local farmers are extensive and diverse, frequently upsetting customary livelihoods and increasing social vulnerability. Farmers are mostly displaced out of their farming regions via acquiring land, which is an important source of revenue and food safety for them. Because it is difficult for numerous farmers to locate another job after being forced to relocate, particularly in areas where farming is the main industry, this relocation causes a loss of income. Since these connections are essential for supplying social and financial support, the breakdown of social media networks and community connections increases the negative impacts even more.

 Abstract

This study examines the geological features of the Lansdowne area in the Garhwal Lesser Himalaya. Age of the rocks are Precambrian to Paleozoic. The Lansdowne region showcases intricate geological features, encompassing various stages of deformation, and notable compositional changes from granite-to-granite gneiss and augen gneiss. Detailed field analyses of the rock formations and geological structures suggest significant tectonic movements which are marked by the presence of fault, joint sets, and fault gouge zones. The lithological variation in the rocks to understand the different tectonic activities and metamorphism in the area. The central part of Lansdowne, which is characterized by porphyritic granite, shows less intense deformation. This study highlights the importance of geological structure of the thrust area. The shear sense indicators determine NW-SE direction of the rocks and transportation of the area along SE direction along the Lansdowne thrust.

 Abstract

ABSTRACT In the evolving landscape of financial services, agility, scalability, and robustness are paramount. Microservices architecture, combined with Spring Boot, offers a powerful solution for addressing these needs. This paper examines the integration of microservices architecture with Spring Boot for financial services, highlighting its advantages, implementation strategies, and potential challenges.Which is crucial for financial services that demand high availability and responsiveness. Spring Boot, a framework designed to simplify Java-based application development, enhances microservices by providing out-of-the-box support for building production-ready applications with minimal configuration. A service handling real-time transaction processing can be scaled independently of other services, such as customer account management or fraud detection, thus maintaining system efficiency. Spring Boot's integration with various technologies and tools further complements the microservices approach. With built-in support for RESTful APIs, security, and data access, Spring Boot streamlines the development process, enabling financial services to build and deploy services rapidly. Additionally, Spring Boot's.This paper explores these challenges and proposes strategies for mitigating them, such as employing service discovery mechanisms, implementing centralized logging, and adopting eventual consistency patterns.

 Abstract

Chronic heavy alcohol consumption disrupts normal organ function and causes structural damage in almost all body tissues. Thus, it is predicted that alcohol has a significant effect on red blood cells and other biochemical components of the blood stream. Studies assessing oxidative damage to erythrocyte membranes in alcoholic diabetics are closely related to associated biochemical and biophysical changes. The overwhelming body of evidence from human and animal studies clearly shows that chronic and heavy alcohol consumption causes structural damage and/or disrupts normal organ function in nearly all body tissues.

 Abstract

The youth of today will either be the father or the citizens of tomorrow. Although there was a global outcry against this phrase, children everywhere were denied access to several resources. The abrupt removal of a kid from the breast is not weaning. Comparative research design was used for the study. The study was conducted in the rural area i.e. village Bassian and urban area i.e. Jagraon. The sample is of 100 mothers (50 rural and 50 urban mothers). Convenient sampling technique was used for selecting sample. The level of knowledge was assessed by self structured knowledge questionnaire comprised of 30 items. The study found that 36% of rural mothers and 94% of urban mothers had a positive attitude towards the importance of weaning diet for their under-five children. This aligns with a similar study by Maheswary Ekambaram in 2012 which reported 84% positive attitude among rural mothers.

 Abstract

Access to healthcare is a critical determinant of societal well-being, especially in populous and economically diverse countries like India. This study investigates the beneficiary experiences of the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) in Punjab, focusing on awareness levels, usage trends, and sources of information. With India surpassing China as the world's most populous country, healthcare challenges, particularly among the economically disadvantaged, have become more pressing. Utilizing a cross-sectional survey conducted among 576 beneficiaries in Ludhiana and Mansa districts, the research employs random sampling and structured questionnaires to evaluate awareness, enrolment, and service utilization under AB-PMJAY. The findings reveal that 37% of beneficiaries have low awareness, 43% moderate, and 19% high awareness, with information predominantly obtained from government campaigns, healthcare providers, and word-of-mouth. Enrolment in the scheme stands at 41%, with 12% of enrolled beneficiaries utilizing services, primarily for hospitalization. Key barriers to utilization include cost concerns and insufficient awareness. Statistical analysis identifies significant correlations between demographic factors, such as education and income, and levels of awareness and utilization. The study underscores the necessity for targeted awareness campaigns and enhanced accessibility to optimize the scheme's impact. Policy recommendations highlight the importance of community-based platforms and tailored communication strategies to bridge existing gaps, ensuring equitable healthcare access for all vulnerable populations.
