 Abstract

One of the most famous authors in Bengali literature is Sudhanshu Kumar Chakraborty. He was a Bihar cadre Indian administrative officer. In Bihar, several river dam projects were created in Santal Pargana and Chhota Nagpur. To remove and return to the project region, the indigenous people had to perform intricate and challenging labour in order to construct an industrial metropolis. The pursuit of literature has a consequence at the bottom of both public and private working life. "Aronya Konya" tells the terrible tale of the departure from the dwelling for reasons of excuse and the development of the indigenous ethnic groups. The rural Mahajan, Sudkhor, and British imperialism were the targets of the Santal uprising in India. However, despite India's freedom, its indigenous ethnic groups continued to face persecution. They still have their land from the 20th century. The Indian government has expelled the Tapashili ethnic group members in the name of a recent project and evicted the Bhavi sons in the name of development. The society and culture of the Santal ethnic group are depicted in the book. Tribal communities have lost their customary access to forest resources and are frequently displaced as a result of development projects. It was a novel about unmet expectations and crushed hopes called The Story of a Broken Dream. I'll attempt to talk about Sudhangshu Kumar Chakraborty's novel "Aranya Kanya" in this article, where he describes the lives of indigenous women's communities.

 Abstract

This paper presents a comprehensive exploration of the evolution of numeral systems across various civilizations and investigates a series of unsolved problems in number theory. By tracing the roots of numerical representation--from rudimentary tally marks to sophisticated symbolic formations such as the Hindu-Arabic numeral system--we illustrate how these systems not only reflect cultural and historical developments but also establish the groundwork for modern mathematical inquiry. Further, we discuss several unresolved conjectures in the theory of numbers, such as questions regarding the distribution of primes and problems of additive number theory, emphasizing their enduring allure for mathematicians and their deep ties to humanity's evolving conceptualization of numbers. This study is an invitation to appreciate both the rich historical trajectory of numeral systems and the philosophical challenges that persist at the heart of number theory.

 Abstract

The process of how children acquire a language has been a complex one to uncover. Recently, several studies have been examining the role of mothers in this process. Mothers are viewed to function as a vital part of the children's language input and nurturing their interest in language learning. This study examines the maternal perspectives in support of raising learners' awareness towards the importance of daily exposure to the English language while using various methods, which contribute to learning a second language. The research used multiple regression analysis to determine whether exposure from learning activities, beliefs, motivation, and learning resources to the English language predicts language acquisition. Using G power, the recommended sample size of the study was 129. Using convenient sampling, the researcher gathered data from one hundred twenty-nine (n = 129) respondents through a survey questionnaire. In this study, it was revealed that mothers' perceptions of the exposure of learning resources, beliefs, learning activities, and motivation to English language acquisition show high positive correlations. Also, it was found out in the multiple regression analysis that the exposure to learning resources, activities, and motivation was a significant predictor of English language acquisition.

 Abstract

In this work, we offer a conceptual investigation into the nature of strong electron correlations by employing the ideas behind the Hubbard model and interpreting experimental insights from x-ray spectroscopy. By focusing on electron localization and local interaction effects in complex materials, we demonstrate how x-ray spectroscopic techniques (such as x-ray absorption and emission) can reveal the underlying physics that govern metal-insulator transitions and other many-body phenomena. Our analysis is qualitative, providing detailed narrative insight without recourse to mathematical equations, and it discusses applications to systems like Mott insulators and doped high-temperature superconductors.

 Abstract

Mental disorders are prevalent worldwide. Hundreds of millions of people worldwide are affected by mental disorders. Mental disorders impose a substantial burden if left untreated. In India, the prevalence of major mental and behavioral disorders is estimated to be 65 per 1000 population, which translates to 70 million patients. India's ability to treat, care for and rehabilitate mentally ill patients leaves much to be desired. Mentally ill people are almost never taken seriously; they are treated with little or no dignity and are often locked away. Most (75%) mentally ill patients live in villages, where access even to basic health care is difficult. A study aimed to assess the knowledge of GNM Diploma Nursing Students visited for clinical experience regarding prevention and management of mental illness. The study adopted descriptive design with survey approach. The study was conducted in Central Institute of Psychiatry. 150 Diploma Nursing Students were randomly selected by convenient sampling method and were assessed with hunter institute of mental health questionnaire for knowledge regarding prevention and management of mental illness. Diploma Nursing Students showed that the maximum number of subjects 90% were in the age group of 21-25 years, 06% were in the age group of 26-30 years, 04% were distributed in 31-35 years Among the total respondents under study, it is evident that 82% were identified as females and 18% males. Majority 52.7% were Hindus, 41.7% were Christians, 06% were Muslims and only 07% found as others. Results indicate 16.7% of the respondents were married, 83.3% were unmarried. Majority 76% of the respondents were residing in rural area and only 24% were residing in urban area. Regarding source of information gained on prevention and management of mental illness, the majority 82% of participants gained knowledge from book, 12% from workshop, 04% from seminar and only 2% from special training. The study revealed that Knowledge scores showed that 78% were having inadequate knowledge, 22% were having moderate knowledge and none of them having adequate knowledge towards prevention and management of mental illness. As a whole findings of the study revealed that majority of village health nurses had inadequate knowledge and practice. It shows that there is a great need to educate and motivate village health nurses about prevention and management of mental illness in order to reduce the mortality and morbidity related to mental illness.

 Abstract

This paper presents a conceptual study that explores how the Hubbard model can be used to understand x-ray spectroscopic observations in strongly correlated materials. We discuss how on-site electron-electron repulsion, as envisioned by the Hubbard model, influences the electronic structure in materials that defy explanation by conventional density functional theory. By integrating ideas from real-space theoretical approaches with spectroscopic probes such as x-ray absorption and emission techniques, we demonstrate that including local correlation effects leads to a richer understanding of the experimental spectra. Applications to Mott insulators and doped high-temperature superconductors are discussed, along with insights into the limitations and potential future improvements of the method.

 Abstract

Fashion Week, a global spectacle, transcends its visual beauty to shape cultural norms, societal values, and economic systems. Annually, events like Paris, Milan and New York Fashion Weeks collectively generate billions in economic activity. New York Fashion Week alone contributes approximately $887 million to the local economy. Sociologically, Fashion Week acts as a barometer of social change, reflecting and shaping trends in sustainability, inclusivity, and identity. The rising prominence of sustainable fashion addresses the staggering 92 million tons of textile waste produced annually, with brands increasingly adopting eco-conscious practices. Additionally, the industry's pivot towards diversity and inclusion reflects broader societal shifts, as evident in the representation of various ethnicities, genders, and body types on the runway. Fashion Week also democratizes cultural production, amplified by digital platforms that engage millions globally. Social media, live-streamed shows, and virtual runways enable broader participation, disrupting traditional hierarchies of exclusivity. Gen Z, accounting for nearly 60% of the fashion consumer base, prioritizes ethical practices and self -expression, further driving these transformations. This research explores Fashion Week as a social institution, analyzing its cultural and economic significance, its role in shaping identity and values, and its potential as a catalyst for progressive societal change.
