Background: birth of a healthy newborn baby is one of the greatest gifts of nature. After birth, the newborns undergo many changes. Majority of the newborns handle the transition well, between 5%-10% of all babies born need some degree of resuscitation. Approximately 3%-6% require basic neonatal resuscitation, consisting simple initial steps and assisted ventilation. As newborn resuscitation is a key component of effort to reduce neonatal mortality occurring due to birth asphyxia, the nursing students as future nurses should possess knowledge and skills to overcome the barriers of providing newborn resuscitation. Objective: to evaluate the effectiveness of demonstration on skills regarding bag and mask ventilation in neonates among gnm nursing students. Methodology: an observation checklist regarding bag and mask ventilation given by who was used for data collection with the help of demonstration method. A pre- experimental study one group pretest post test design was used. Pre and post-test data was collected conveniently selected 40 nursing students of gnm nursing 3rd year from index nursing college, indore (mp). Results: findings of the study revealed that majority of the nursing students (70.8%) were females and majority of nursing students (90.2%) had previous knowledge regarding bag and mask ventilation in neonates but majority of nursing students(79.16%) had not performed bag and mask ventilation during their clinical experience. The mean post-test skill score (12.7) was higher than the mean pre-test skill score (2.2). And the computed paired t test value (t 39 21 p> 0.05) is more than the tabulated value ( t39= 4.78, p < 0.05) shows that there was a significant difference between pre-test and post-test skill score.it was therefore dismissed the null hypothesis and accept the research hypothesis. Study was effective.the skills of nursing students were significantly associated with previous knowledge ( = 8.35) and Number of ventilations performed previously ( =9.53). Conclusion: the study concludes that demonstration regarding bag and mask ventilation was effectiveness. Very effective in improving the skills of nursing students regarding bag and mask ventilation in neonates.

Folk songs are a natural creative musical expression of the folks, composed by them to depict their lives and emotions. Thus, folk songs generally reflect the life, experiences and sentiment of the people of a society. The folk songs of the Mech society of the northern part of the state of West Bengal are no different as they too are bound to the lives, experiences and philosophy of the folks of the Mech tribe residing in this region. Among the Meches singing and dancing is an activity that accompanies many of the rituals and on special occasions guests are also welcomed with songs and dances. But of late this community is facing a gradual cultural loss due to modernization, competition and external influences. So the practices that once involved the singing and performing of 'Demshi methai' has now been lost and forgotten by the people. This paper thus, attempts to relook at this forgotten practice particularly through the study of 'Demshi methai' and tries to study the reflection of the life and humour of the Mech people and their society in these songs.

Disaster is such a word which is cannot be acceptable and welcomed for any age and any race. It is always lead to an unpredictable situation. There are so many causes which may lead to disaster. It is a harmful act of nature caused by living being or it may happen by non-living object. There are evidences where discussions are made by the ancient seers on some of the disasters with its management system which has been recognized at the time of Vedic people. But it was not technical based as well as systematic at that time. Later on at the time of Kautilya the discussion on disaster and its management becomes more organized than the time of Vedic India. In this present paper a modest attempt has been made to highlight the causes and solutions found in Vedic literature with special reference to Kautilya's Arthashastra.

Agriculture is a primary occupation in India, and it loses 35% of its productivity due to plant diseases. Plants play a crucial role in the agriculture sector, exerting a profound influence on a nation's economy and environmental equilibrium. Similar to human health, plants can be affected by diseases caused by pathogens like viruses and bacteria. Effective plant care necessitates diligent observation, accurate disease identification, and appropriate management strategies. Early detection and prevention techniques for plant diseases are highly beneficial to recover plants quickly and maintain their productivity. Currently, the methods employed for identifying plant diseases involve either human-based or lab-based techniques. This research paper presents an artificial intelligence (AI) model that identifies plant diseases, provides an explanation of the detected disease, and suggests appropriate recommendations. The project "AI-based Plant Disease Detection and Recommendation using Deep Learning" is to improve agricultural output by offering an effective method for detecting plant diseases and actionable recommendations. This platform offers two main modules aimed at enhancing productivity and sustainability. Plant Disease Detection Module: Diseases in crops often go unnoticed until they cause significant damage, leading to reduced yields and financial losses. The "AI-based Plant Disease Detection and Recommendation using Deep Learning" platform introduced a plant disease prediction tool that addresses this issue. Farmers can upload images of their crops to the platform, which uses advanced machine learning algorithms to analyze the images and detect potential diseases. Recommendation Module: The Recommendation engine will take the input from the Plant Disease Detection Module, analyze the class of the disease, and suggest the practical, actionable recommendations for prevention and treatment, helping farmers protect their crops and avoid further losses. This platform is developed using Python for backend processing, Flask as the web framework, and HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the frontend. This system leverages state-of-the-art deep learning techniques to detect and classify plant diseases with high accuracy using plant leaves. InceptionV3 and MobileNetV2 are two distinct deep learning architectures employed for image classification and object detection tasks. InceptionV3 is for its high accuracy, while MobileNetV2 is for its efficiency and suitability for resource-constrained environments like mobile devices. InceptionV3 achieved a training accuracy of 93.88% and validation accuracy of 90.05%, while MobileNetV2 outperformed with a training accuracy of 98.30% and validation accuracy of 94.38%. The dataset includes 70,000 images covering 14 plants, including apple, blueberry, cherry, corn (maize), grape, orange, peach, pepper, potato, raspberry, soybean, squash, strawberry, and tomato, and classified into 38 distinct classes, including both healthy and diseased categories. This project is a highly valuable contribution to farmers and agricultural users for an efficient, user-friendly, and comprehensive tool for plant disease management, thereby encouraging sustainable farming practices.

The ability to reconstruct fingerprints is an important element in biometric security systems, as well as forensic investigations. The purpose of this research is to study whether a convolutional autoencoder, modelled off a U-net architecture, could be used to reconstruct fingerprints from quality degraded or incomplete fingerprints. The model was also trained with pre-processing of a publicly available fingerprint dataset to convert the data to greyscale, resize them to uniform dimensions and normalize them. The model implemented a hybrid loss of Mean Squared Error (MSE) and Structural Similarity Index Measure (SSIM) loss to promote an accurate pixel match as well as structural similarity. Reconstruction results showed some promise in reconstructing core ridge structures of a fingerprint and highlighted the potential for digitized images of convolutional autoencoders to reconstruct and apply to fingerprint image reconstruction tasks.

End-stage renal disease (ESRD) is the terminal stage of chronic kidney disease, requiring dialysis or kidney transplantation for survival. In India, rising rates of diabetes and hypertension, along with limited access to care, have made ESRD a growing public health challenge. While modern medicine remains the primary treatment approach through renal replacement therapies and supportive care, alternative systems like homeopathy are gaining interest. Homeopathy, with its individualized, symptom-focused approach, aims to relieve ESRD symptoms such as fatigue, edema, and nausea, and support overall well-being. Emerging evidence and case reports suggest homeopathy may complement conventional care, particularly in improving quality of life and symptom management.
