Virtual machine incorporation increases the strength of cloud environment. Flexibility of user depends on easy availability of infrastructure at any instance during the service. This easiness brings many challenges that need to overcome and monitor continuously for the smoothness of cloud service. Out of different cloud issue this paper has resolved on malicious machine detection issue. Trust of virtual machines were evaluated by second order markov model, as per behavior noticed by the centralized datacenter. Trust value of each VM either old or new in cloud were evaluate after a fix time frame. This work dynamically adopt the sequential behavior among the machines as per assign job completion. Proposed model was robust against gray and distributed attacks. Experiment was done in these attacked environment and comparison of proposed model was done with existing techniques. Results shows that proposed second order markov model trust (SOMMT) has higher detection efficiency of malicious VM.

The COVID-19 pandemic is impacting the global population in radical ways. In many countries, elderly people are facing the most threats and challenges at this time. The corona virus pandemic has strained all of us to stay study and work at home. The elderly are more prone to the viral infection, complication and mortality due to the virus which restricted them to be within their houses. Nevertheless, with nothing to do older people are likely to feel more stressed, lonely and affect their health as well. This study focuses on the impact of preventive measures taken by Government like lockdown, curfew and social isolation on elderly population the specific objectives of the study are to find out the effect of lockdown/Social isolation on the physical aspects of elderly during COVID-19, to find out the effect of lockdown/Social isolation on the Psychological health of elderly during COVID-19, to examine the effect of lockdown/Social isolation on the Social relationship of elderly during COVID-19 and to find out the impact of lockdown/Social isolation on the family relations of elderly during COVID-19. Descriptive research design is used in this study. The universe of this study consists of senior citizens of Kochi city. From the source list of elderly collected from Kochi Corporation, representatives of sample of 100 respondents were taken at random and thus simple random sampling is used in the study. Data was collected through online using Google form.

The subject of Work Life Balance and Work Life Boundaries has received much attention in the last 15 years. Though concept of Work Life Balance is not so much popular in India yet as it is in the West. India remained unaffected earlier due to the social support system available so far in our country. But now in India, there is also change in family structures like the advent of nuclear family system and structure of work force. The literature identifies its effect on various quality life conditions i.e., Job Satisfaction, Work Stress, Career Growth, Turnover, Absenteeism, Appreciation and competitive environment in context with Work-life Balance and its practices/policies. Convenience sampling method is adopted in which a questionnaire is used to collect the data. The questionnaire circulated through Google form received 130 responses. Percentage analysis and chi-square were used to analyze the given data. The findings indicate that all the dimension of the work from home influence the different perspectives of work life balance and job satisfaction.

Abstract: In the age of massive smartphones, gaming apps have become an undeniable part of our normal little times. And when it comes to the real-life experience of Gaming, Augmented Reality has shown tremendous progress in elevating itself from just a fun idea to one of the foremost runners in today's gaming industry. In this activity, we propose the Augmented Reality (MAR) Smartphone app based on Smart, i.e. "AR Basketball" to make the Flexible changes needed to design a realistic Gaming UI. Augmented Reality (AR) is an emerging form of experience in which Real World (RW) is developed with computer-generated content linked to specific areas and / or activities. In the last few years, AR programs have become portable and widely available on mobile devices. AR is beginning to appear in our visual media sources (e.g., news, entertainment, sports) and is beginning to incorporate other aspects of our lives (e.g., e-commerce, tourism, marketing) in tangible and exciting ways. To make it easier to learn everywhere, AR will give students quick access to specific local information that has been compiled and provided with multiple sources. AR Games give teachers the opportunity to use a new and attractive learning style of learning.

Focusing on the deficiencies of conventional intrusion detection model, several researchers propose the intrusion detection system based on data mining technology. It solves the problem that self-adaptability of the system is poor, and the conditions of misreport or omission are also further improved. However, as far as mass data are concerned, more and more resources need to be consumed in the intrusion detection system based on data mining technology, and the detection speed gets slower and slower. One more thing arises when we think of the above approach when we create the clusters of same thing for easy generation of patterns in future we not always find the good result. Because each time the support is different and according to the support pruning value is also changed. So we need to process the rule generation dynamic, which solves the above problem and based on that we achieve different results on different conditions.

The fascination of contemporary world for materialism has opened up plethora of opportunities for the modern day critics to explore our love for material things and its representation in literature. The name of the author Bill Brown stands tall in this respect. His seminal essay “Thing Theory” in the special issue of Critical Inquiry (2001) has spurred a new fascination to examine things themselves “before ideas, before theory, before the word” (2001).His further fascinating study in “A Sense Of Things” explores the roots of modern America’s preoccupation with things and the problems that objects posed for American literature especially at the end of the last century. This was the time when the production and consumption of things took the shape of defining national culture itself. Bill Brown’s study emphasized the role of objects, shaped by human beings, in shaping the human subjects .It studies, how things, instead of being a solution to the problems, became problems in their own right. In a way, Bill Brown’s Thing Theory tries to prove that the present generation not only possesses the material things but also is possessed by them. This sounds so true when we notice that how all our obsessive efforts to possess accumulate and keep things throws flood of light on the strange fact that things play a great role in shaping our self-worth. In a way Bill Brown’s study offers a new way to think about the concept of materialism and has paved the way to the development of the Thing Theory. Today it has become important part in the ever growing corpus on objects and things.

This paper attempts to capture the social status, domination of women by men faced by Offred, the protagonist of the sixth best seller novel by the Canadian author Margaret Atwood. The famous fantasy fiction The Handmaid’s Tale is written in the dystopian tradition. Through this novel, she has penned powerfully her social concern regarding the social status, domination, the mental turmoil and the identity crises of women in a male – dominated society and their consequent struggle to overcome this domination, repression and subjugation through many modes of escape strategies. This kind of struggle gives them power to speak against their situation and change their self to enable them to lead a dignified life in the same society. Six years before the publication of this novel, Margaret Atwood had commented on the writing of fiction in a way that seems to anticipate the novel. She comments “What kind of world shall you describe for your readers? The one you can see around you or the better one you can imagine? If only the latter, you’ll be unrealistic. If only the former, despairing, But It is by the better world we can imagine, that we judge the world we have”.

Online video streaming services like Amazon Prime and Netflix have redefined the thought of movie watching and entertainment. They encompass develop into enormously popular worldwide. Their subscribers are increasing day by day. There is also intense rivalry between the two for getting viewer attention. In this context, the study aims at accepting the viewer perception about the two online service providers through viewer opinions collected from different social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, blogs, discussion forums, etc. Viewer opinions expressed online becomes electronic word-of-mouth for potential viewers who often assess the two platforms using the reviews of their peers.
