The Job Portal is a web-based application developed to streamline the job search process for candidates and the recruitment workflow for employers. In the contemporary digital era, online portals serve as a critical bridge between talent and opportunity. This project focuses on the design and implementation of a user-friendly platform that allows job seekers to explore listings, search using keywords, and filter opportunities across various categories. Developed using a Java Full Stack approach, the system utilizes HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript for a responsive frontend interface, ensuring accessibility across desktops, tablets, and smartphones. The backend architecture, supported by technologies such as Java and Spring Boot, manages server-side logic and data processing, while a relational MySQL database handles secure data storage for users, job postings, and applications. The final implementation demonstrates how modern web technologies can be integrated into a three-tier architecture to create an efficient, scalable, and interactive recruitment system.

Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) plays an important role in modern construction due to its superior quality, consistency, and faster construction process compared to conventional site-mixed concrete. Quality control in RMC plants is essential to ensure the strength, durability, workability, and reliability of concrete used in infrastructure projects. This paper presents an experimental study on quality control practices adopted in Ready Mix Concrete plants. The study focuses on testing of raw materials, batching operations, workability assessment, compressive strength evaluation, and quality assurance procedures. Laboratory and field tests such as slump test, compressive strength test, sieve analysis, water absorption test, and specific gravity test were conducted to evaluate concrete performance. The study also highlights the importance of automation, mix proportioning, and quality monitoring systems in maintaining consistency in concrete production. The results indicate that systematic quality control procedures significantly improve the performance and durability of concrete while reducing material wastage and construction defects.

The integration of sophisticated software applications has fundamentally transformed structural design, allowing engineers to model complex geometries and perform high-speed simulations. However, the increasing reliance on "black-box" software introduces risks related to user error, over-reliance on automated outputs, and potential discrepancies between different software algorithms. This project provides a comprehensive evaluation of widely used structural design software (such as ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, and Revit) to assess their reliability, ease of use, and precision..

Setting-out and foundation works are the fundamental precursors to any successful building project, yet they are often prone to errors that can compromise long-term structural integrity. Setting-out involves transferring architectural and structural designs from paper onto the physical ground with high precision. This study investigates the methodologies, tools, and challenges associated with these processes in the context of residential construction.

This study evaluates the structural performance and construction aspects of the Sewri-Worli Elevated Corridor (SWEC), a vital component of Mumbai's urban transport infrastructure. Implemented by Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority, the project comprises a 4-lane, 4.5 km elevated corridor that establishes a seamless connection between the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL), the Bandra-Worli Sea Link, and the Coastal Road network. The structural system primarily utilizes M45 grade concrete for critical components such as piles, pile caps, and piers, ensuring high compressive strength, durability, and long-term performance under heavy traffic loads and environmental exposure. Experimental investigations, including workability and compressive strength tests, confirm the suitability of M45 concrete for elevated infrastructure applications

This research investigates the synergistic effect of incorporating two natural fibers - human hair (HH) and jute fiber (JF) - as reinforcing agents in concrete, with the dual objective of enhancing mechanical performance and promoting sustainable waste management practices. In recent years, the growing emphasis on eco-friendly construction materials has led to increased interest in utilizing waste and natural fibers as alternatives to conventional reinforcement. Human hair, a non-biodegradable waste material with high tensile strength comparable to that of copper wire, is explored for its potential to improve crack resistance and bonding within the concrete matrix. Similarly, jute fiber, an abundant, biodegradable, and low-cost natural material, is incorporated to enhance ductility, reduce shrinkage, and improve post-cracking behavior.

The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) is one of the major housing initiatives launched by the Government of India to provide affordable housing for economically weaker sections and low-income groups. This paper presents the construction management practices, execution methodology, quality control measures, and innovative construction technologies adopted in the PMAY housing project at Dudulgaon, Pune. The project consists of 1190 residential tenements developed under the PMAY scheme using reinforced concrete construction and modern formwork systems. The study focuses on site execution activities such as excavation, raft foundation construction, shear wall execution, Mivan formwork technology, reinforcement detailing, curing methods, and quality assurance procedures. Various laboratory and field tests conducted on concrete, cement, and aggregates are also discussed. The implementation of aluminium formwork technology significantly improved construction speed, dimensional accuracy, and project efficiency. The paper highlights practical challenges encountered during execution and demonstrates the importance of planning, supervision, and quality management in large-scale affordable housing projects.
