This study compares mutual funds and real estate in terms of returns and risk. Mutual funds offer higher liquidity and diversification with potentially higher returns, but they come with more volatility. Real estate tends to provide stable, long-term returns, though it requires more capital and active management. The study concludes that the best choice depends on the investor's goals, risk tolerance, and investment horizon, with diversification across both being a practical strategy to reduce risk.

Workplace learning and internships have become integral mechanisms for bridging the gap between academic knowledge and industry needs. While traditional education is foundational, it often fails to equip students with job-ready skills. Internships and workplace learning provide crucial real-world exposure, enhance employability, and align talent with labor market demands. This paper explores the importance, impact, challenges, and future directions of internships and workplace learning, supported by both global and Indian data. Specifically, it highlights the role of employability skills in achieving career success and addresses the critical skill gaps that management students face in India's growing economy.

The need of education in creating sustainable futures has never been greater as the world deals with unparalleled biodiversity loss and environmental degradation. Through the prism of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), namely SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and SDG 15 (Life on Land), this article examines the relationship between education, biodiversity, and industry. This study, titled "Green Skills for a Blue Planet," highlights the pressing need to provide young people with ecological literacy and green skills that meet the needs of sectors that care about biodiversity. The study highlights the disconnects between classroom instruction and actual environmental issues by critically analyzing present educational frameworks. It suggests an integrated approach in which sustainability ideas are woven across academic fields, empowering students to behave as future innovators, entrepreneurs, and policymakers dedicated to ecological balance in addition to understanding biodiversity. This article outlines effective solutions that strengthen national competitiveness while bridging education and employability, drawing on lessons from industry collaborations, curricular changes, and worldwide case studies. By taking this approach, the study hopes to rethink how innovation in education and governance might raise a generation that can promote biodiversity-friendly practices in a variety of industries. In the end, it makes the case that fostering "green minds" now is essential to creating a resilient, biodiverse, and financially viable future.

Accounting graduates have a special requirement of skills to come into working in real manufacturing. The present study, based entirely on secondary data, examines the challenges faced by accounting graduates in the manufacturing sector, specifically with respect to Tata Steel, one of the major players in India's manufacturing industry. This study reviews the competency gaps, as exposed in a thorough review of journals, government reports, and industry analyses, published information from Tata Steel but also includes limited exposure to cost accounting applications, a skewed unfamiliarity with ERP systems like SAP, and very little knowledge of compliance requirements associated with manufacturing' management of inventories, allocation of labor cost, and indirect taxation. Furthermore, the literature suggests that there has been an increasing emphasis on digital finance, sustainability accounting, and cross-functional collaboration, which are not yet adequately covered in the accounting education. The study stresses that changing industry standards require graduates to have, besides technical ability, critical thinking, openness to change, and business acumen in communication. The findings therefore suggest that there continues to be a disconnection between what is taught in the academy as opposed to what the industry requires, especially in capital-intensive areas such as steel production. The better alignment will ensure a ready class of graduates for meaningful work engagements with firms such as Tata Steel and greatly reduce its learning curve in the actual workplace.

Scientific research has emerged as a powerful catalyst for innovation within the financial services industry, reshaping traditional models and enabling the rise of advanced technologies and data-driven solutions. This paper explores how disciplines such as data science, behavioral economics, artificial intelligence, and computer science contribute to transformative changes in finance. Through a comprehensive review of academic literature and real-world case studies, the study highlights how scientific advancements have led to innovations in areas like algorithmic trading, robo -advisory platforms, fraud detection systems, and credit scoring methodologies. The research further examines the integration of behavioral science into financial decision-making tools, improving user engagement and financial outcomes. While the benefits of science-driven innovation are significant--offering enhanced efficiency, customer personalization, and risk management--challenges remain, including ethical concerns, regulatory constraints, and the complexity of implementation. The findings underscore the need for continued interdisciplinary collaboration between researchers, practitioners, and regulators to foster responsible innovation and ensure the long-term sustainability of the financial ecosystem. Findings reflects that India's financial services sector has made remarkable strides through the application of scientific research, further investments in research, talent, and regulatory support are essential for sustaining long-term innovation. The future of finance will undoubtedly rely on continuous scientific inquiry, exploration of new technologies, and a forward-thinking approach to solving financial challenges in a rapidly changing global economy.

The fashion industry, propelled by the digital revolution, is transitioning from traditional craftsmanship to immersive technological innovation. In India, where the apparel sector significantly contributes to GDP and employment, this transition demands an urgent realignment of fashion education. This paper explores how institutions can cultivate a new generation of tech- savvy fashion designers and prepare graduates for these emerging digital economies. Drawing on global trends and local challenges, we propose a roadmap integrating 3D design tools, industry partnerships, and policy reforms. Reimagining the fashion graduate is essential not only for sustaining cultural heritage but also for elevating national competitiveness in the global fashion-tech economy.

The integration of e-commerce into traditional retail has positively advanced sales growth. Retailers can access more customers, provide a wider variety of goods, and make shopping easier by using online platforms, all leading to sales growth. E-commerce enables retailers to overcome geographical boundaries effortlessly, accessing customers in new regions and even globally. Retailers are better able to meet the diverse needs of consumers because online platforms allow them to stock more items than those offered in their physical stores. Shopping online is open any time, day or night, with delivery straight to the customer's address, making it much easier for consumers compared to in-person shopping. To boost overall satisfaction with the shopping experience, many e-commerce sites offer tailored shopping functions, friendly websites, and easy payment options, which all improve customer satisfaction and increase sales. Unlike physical shops, e-commerce businesses do not incur expenses such as rent, utilities and staffing. This cost reduces the business's operational expenses, allowing investment in other business areas like advertising or customer service.

Entrepreneurship education has become an essential route through which young people can be given the knowledge, skills, and attitude needed to thrive in an increasingly dynamic world economy. For India, a country where there are strong societal gender roles and socio-cultural constraints that limit the participation of women in entrepreneurial work, focused entrepreneurship education can act as a driving force for constructive change. This study seeks to investigate the role of entrepreneurship education in Indian colleges towards empowering young women, as well as determine the main challenges they encounter in accessing and benefiting from these programs. The research employs a mixed-method design, integrating surveys and interviews with female undergraduate students, faculty, and entrepreneurship development cell coordinators from chosen institutions. The results indicate that although entrepreneurship education promotes critical thinking, creativity, and self-esteem among young women, a number of obstacles still discourage them from pursuing entrepreneurship. These include restricted access to mentorship, absence of seed funding, societal pressures, and insufficient exposure to actual entrepreneurial experiences. In addition, the research points out effective institutional practices and government programs that have facilitated entrepreneurship education to become more accessible and inclusive for women. In light of these findings, the paper suggests a range of strategic recommendations for bolstering the ecosystem for women entrepreneurs in academic institutions. These are gender-sensitive curricula, experiential learning experiences, networking forums, and specialized support mechanisms. In solving these issues and encouraging inclusive education policies, Indian universities can be at the center of developing India's next generation of women entrepreneurs and innovators.
