Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in India has undergone a significant transformation in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, reflecting a shift from traditional philanthropic practices to more strategic, responsive, and impact-driven approaches. Prior to the pandemic, CSR activities in India were largely guided by statutory obligations under the Companies Act, 2013, with a primary focus on sectors such as education, rural development, and environmental sustainability. However, the unprecedented socio-economic and public health crisis caused by COVID-19 reshaped corporate priorities, compelling businesses to realign their CSR strategies toward immediate societal needs. In the post-pandemic phase, CSR in India is gradually transitioning toward a more strategic and sustainable model, emphasizing long-term impact, digital inclusion, mental health, and environmental resilience. This paper also identifies key challenges such as lack of uniform implementation, transparency issues, and the tendency toward short-term philanthropic responses during crises. This study critically examines the changing landscape of CSR in India by comparing pre- and post-pandemic trends, analysing policy shifts, and evaluating the emerging role of corporations as key agents of social transformation. COVID-19 has acted as a catalyst in redefining Corporate Social Responsibility from a compliance-driven obligation to a core component of corporate strategy and sustainable development.

Sri Aurobindo, one of the most influential philosophers-seers of modern India, is widely recognized for his contributions to spiritual thought and nationalist movements. However, beyond his political and yogic legacy lies a profound and transformative philosophy of education that remains highly relevant in contemporary times. For Sri Aurobindo, education was not limited to intellectual training or preparation for livelihood; rather, it was a dynamic and evolutionary process aimed at the integral development of the human personality. This study explores Sri Aurobindo's educational philosophy with particular emphasis on the concept of Integral Education, which seeks to harmoniously develop the physical, vital, mental, psychic, and spiritual dimensions of the individual. The study develops a conceptual understanding of integral education based on Aurobindo's ideas of self-discovery, inner awakening, value orientation, and holistic personality development. According to Aurobindo, true education should facilitate the unfolding of the learner's inner potential and guide individuals toward moral refinement, self-realization, and spiritual awareness. The paper further examines the relevance of Aurobindo's educational vision in the context of contemporary educational reforms, particularly the National Education Policy 2020, which emphasizes holistic, learner-centered, and value-based education. While several principles of the NEP resonate with Aurobindo's philosophy such as experiential learning, flexibility, and multidisciplinary education certain dimensions of integral education, especially psychic and spiritual development, remain less explicitly addressed. In addition, the study analyses the potential benefits and challenges of implementing integral education in diverse educational contexts. The findings suggest that integral education can promote holistic development, ethical consciousness, experiential learning, and personalized education. However, practical challenges such as rigid curricular structures, assessment-oriented systems, limited resources, and inadequate teacher preparation may hinder its effective implementation. Based on these insights, the study proposes strategies for integrating integral education into modern curricula through holistic curriculum design, experiential pedagogy, interdisciplinary learning, mindfulness practices, and enhanced teacher facilitation. By revisiting Sri Aurobindo's educational philosophy, the paper argues that integral education offers a transformative framework for developing balanced, conscious, and socially responsible individuals, thereby contributing to a more humane and future-oriented education system.

Cart abandonment remains a persistent challenge in e-commerce, constraining both conversion performance and the promotion of sustainable consumption. While digital platforms increasingly incorporate sustainability messaging, limited conceptual work has examined how environmentally framed interventions shape consumer decision-making, specifically at the checkout stage. This paper develops a conceptual framework to explain how green nudges embedded within e-commerce checkout environments can reduce cart abandonment while encouraging environmentally responsible purchasing behaviour. Drawing on Nudge Theory, the Theory of Planned Behavior, and Cognitive Load Theory, the framework identifies key psychological mechanisms through which sustainability messaging influences checkout decisions--including environmental concern, perceived behavioural control, and guilt-related affect. Contextual conditions such as time pressure, cognitive load, and the intention-behaviour gap are also incorporated, as they characterise checkout environments and shape how consumers respond to nudging interventions. The study advances the literature by positioning the checkout stage as a critical intervention point for sustainable consumption in digital commerce. The proposed framework provides theoretical foundations for future empirical investigation. It offers practical guidance for e-commerce platforms seeking to design checkout environments that simultaneously support conversion outcomes and pro-environmental behaviour.

Global maritime trade has grown at a remarkable pace over the last two decades, and with that growth comes a level of operational complexity that many traditional port facilities were simply not built to handle. Most ports today still rely on systems that were designed in an era when cargo volumes were a fraction of what they are now. These older setups tend to work in silos -- one system handles berthing, another manages cargo, and yet another tracks equipment -- but they rarely communicate with each other in a meaningful way. The result is a chain of inefficiencies: vessels waiting longer than they should, containers stacked in the wrong place, and expensive machinery sitting idle when it could be productive. This paper introduces Smart PortX, a port management system designed from the ground up to tackle these problems through an integrated, optimization-driven approach. Rather than patching together existing tools, Smart PortX is built on a clean four-layer architecture -- a Presentation Layer, an Application Layer, an Optimization Engine, and a Database Layer -- that lets each component do its job while staying tightly connected to the rest. At the heart of the system are mathematical models for berth allocation, yard management, and equipment scheduling, all aimed at cutting down waiting time and pushing throughput higher. A review of more than twenty recent research papers on smart port technology shows that most existing work tends to focus on just one piece of the puzzle -- whether that's artificial intelligence, IoT sensing, blockchain, or sustainability metrics -- without stepping back to ask how all these pieces fit together operationally. Smart PortX takes a different approach by providing a single, unified framework that can serve as practical infrastructure for the intelligent ports of the next generation.

The rapid growth of financial data has created a strong demand for scalable and efficient systems for data storage, processing, and analysis. Traditional data processing approaches often rely on complex infrastructure, leading to high operational costs and limited scalability. To address these challenges, this paper proposes a serverless data lake architecture for real-time financial analytics using cloud-based services. The proposed system leverages Amazon S3 for scalable data storage, AWS Glue for automated schema discovery and data cataloging, Amazon Athena for serverless querying, and Amazon QuickSight for interactive data visualization. By eliminating the need for infrastructure management, the architecture simplifies deployment while ensuring high scalability, flexibility, and cost efficiency. A financial dataset is utilized to evaluate the system's performance and analytical capabilities, including trend analysis, volume analysis, and price comparison. The results demonstrate that serverless data lake architectures provide an effective and practical solution for modern financial analytics, enabling faster insights with reduced operational overhead. The architecture also supports dynamic scaling based on workload demands, making it suitable for varying data volumes.
