The gap between the needs of the industry and aspirations of the academic community is very large and it is widely held that knowledge, skills, and resourcefulness of people are critical to sustain economic development and social activity in a knowledge-driven society. Given the current high-paced growth and dynamic investment climate in India, the demand for knowledge workers with high levels of technical and soft skills is increasing day by day. Institutions of the 21 century resemble a corporate organization. Universities are miniature industries generating human resources. Human resources with positive attitude towards life and work and germane skills for advanced knowledge economy are becoming important in today's high momentum, globalised society. Life skills, also termed as psycho- social skills, empower individuals to flourish and prosper in the competitive world and adapt to the environment in which they live ir. It is important that we need to mobilize skills such as personal management and people management which help us to steer our life towards more positive behavior and well-being. This paper is designed to throw light on various aspects of Life Skills Training, which is an emerging concept in the higher education sector.

The focus of this research lies in a thorough examination of the Classification Methods employed in Machine Learning, with special attention given to their practical applications and accompanying difficulties. Classification, being a fraction of supervised learning, involves feeding input data into predetermined goals. It has wide-ranging significance across multiple fields such as credit decision-making, medical diagnosis, and targeted marketing [1]. Different algorithms have been customized to carry out time series classification, each demonstrating varying levels of precision based on the dataset under consideration. As a result, it becomes crucial to take into account a broad range of algorithms whenever faced with a time series classification problem. To streamline this procedure, the adoption of an automated platform capable of methodically exploring algorithmic possibilities and hyperparameters is suggested, potentially leading to significant time gains, particularly during initial exploration stages [2]. Potential future development includes platforms equipped with time series classification abilities projected to emerge in the future

More than half of the world's population today lives in cities, and this figure is expected to rise in the future. In the next years, it is expected that 70% of the world's population will live in towns and cities, with one in every three urban dwellers living in slums. As a result, urban challenges are taking center stage in development discussions. The inner city and the health of its residents in particular have been a source of concern, as managing the inner city has always been a difficult issue for planners worldwide. Individuals' feelings of well-being, security, and productivity are strongly influenced by their health and their expectations of a healthy environment for their families and communities. The research seeks to untangle the intricate interaction of factors affecting urban health, with a specific focus on Amritsar's walled city. The goal is to assess the quality of life within the fortified city in order to evaluate the level of health and well-being. The findings presented indicate a rather low quality of life within the walled city, which is harmful to people's health. The case study highlights concerns and behaviors inside the city while also providing a clue to urban management in order to reorient efforts to create inclusive and healthy urban settings.

Even as the mindscapes of many strategic analysts are deciphering the just-concluded, top-class diplomatic blitzkrieg of PM Modi at "Howdy Modi" with Trump in tow and "the full Jaishankar" in the US, the countdown to another high voltage, high stakes diplomatic encounter has already begun. The world will now be witnessing a grand, media spectacle- the second "informal" summit between Modi and China"s supreme leader Xi Jinping on October 11-12 in Mammallapuram, near Chennai, also a site symbolizing their civilization and historic linkages. Similar to the first summit held in Wuhan, China on April 27-28 last year, this summit too will be enmeshed with deep, long personal conversations between the two without any pre-scripted agenda and outcomes. That these two leaders are meeting again in this format-an original, innovative contribution to global diplomatic practice by the two- signals most importantly that both see this informal summitry based purely on personal chemistry as the best diplomatic track to "manage" the bilateral relationship. In Indian eyes, both leaders saw Wuhan as an "opportunity for direct, free and candid exchange of views offered by the Informal Summit and agreed on the utility of holding more such dialogues in the future" as "the forward-looking dialogue raised the level of strategic communication about the perspective, priorities and vision that guide their respective policy choices domestically, regionally and globally. The Wuhan summit constituted "strategic

The basic principle of co-operation is voluntary association of people to serve their common interests. The International Labour Organisation (ILO) gave a comprehensive definition in the following terms; 'A co-operative organisation is an association of persons, usually of limited means, who have voluntarily joined together to achieve a common economic end through the formation of a democratically controlled organisation.' Self help groups (SHGs) form the basic constituent unit of the micro finance movement in India. SHG is a group of five or more than five members, who pool their savings in to a fund from which they can borrow as and when necessary. The SHG members are usually poor and often women. The membership of a SHG shall not exceed 20 members. The SHG is linked with a rural co-operative or commercial bank, where they maintain a group account. Over time the bank begins to lend to the group funded out of the savings generated by the group members themselves called inter loans. It builds financial discipline and credit history that encourages banks to lend to them in certain multiples of their own savings and without any demand for collateral security. SHGs play crucial role in economic empowerment of poor people in the rural areas. In addition to the financial help, SHGs provides enough opportunities for the overall development of women in the rural areas. In this context an attempt has been made to analyse how co-operative sponsored SHGs involved in the empowerment of women

Avifaunal Diversity is one of the most important ecological indicators to evaluate the status of habitats. Birds are the crucial animal group of an ecosystem which maintains a trophic level. Therefore, detail study on avifauna and their ecology is important to protect them. They are one of the biological control tools to control pests in gardens, on farms, and other places. They encourage pollination of plants. Birds are also good seed dispersal. The study is performed in four areas of Bareilly city during October 2016. Bareilly covers the 123.46 km2 area and provides breeding grounds to multiple populations of flora and fauna. Surveys were carried out and observations were made along line transects with the aid of binoculars and camera. Habitat wise classification reveals that many of birds were dependent on aquatic habitat and some depend on the terrestrial habitat, which shows that the Bareilly is an important abode of many birds. Food preference of birds showed that maximum species were insectivorous. Frequently disturbed areas like streets, highways etc., were not so rich in avifauna. Birds observed during night hours or nocturnal birds needed a critical eye to detect, and the usually included owl, crane, night hawk, night heron etc. Vultures were observed rarely near butcher shops of Azamnagar near Kumar theatre. Distribution of birds were found frequent and good near natural habitats
