Sleep apnoea syndrome is one of the most common sleep disorders which affects around one out of every 100 people. There is some evidence that sleep apnoea may be linked to hypertension, strokes and heart attacks. The aim of this work is to develop a wearable biomedical system for the continuous and real-time monitoring of the sleep apnoea disease at home. Embedded in a comfortable glove, the proposed wearable device acquires the photople thysmographic (PPG) signal coming from a standard SpO wrapped sensor placed in one of the fingers. Real-time heart rate variability analysis is performed from NN intervals measured in the PPG signal in order to activate an alarm if the number of sleep apnoea events cross a guard level. Through a radio frequency link in the ISM band, the glove communicates with an Internet gateway connected with a remote station for continuous data analysis, monitoring and alarm catch.

posterior ankle impingement syndrome is a common cause of posterior ankle pain that is known to be associated with sports which require the athletes to repetitively plantarflex the ankle such as ballet dancers, fast bowler's, football players, swimmers and cyclist. Pais can limit the athletes' ability to perform at the optimal level. Objective: to find the prevalence of posterior ankle impingement syndrome in fast bowler's. Method: 30 male athletes / bowler's; their age ranging from 18 to 30 years old practicing bowling for at least one year or more than that, diadnosis of pais was made based on history taking and assessment using faam[foot and ankle ability measure] , faam-activities of daily living and faam- sport's subscale. Result: the prevalence of pais in the selected sample was- 1. In faam- 56.433%, 2. Faam adl - 75.667% and faam sport-68.4%. Conclusion: fast bowling must be with precautions to avoid pais injury; routine extensor tendon stretching before practicing and protective ankle dorsiflexion taping are recommended to prevent posterior ankle impingement syndrome.

Background: Infection at the surgical site can result from sutures acting as a reservoir for bacteria. Due to wicking activity, this mostly happens with braided sutures. One of the options for reducing the microbial load is the use of triclosan coated suture (TCS). The objective of this study was to compare noncoated sutures (NCSs) and TCS in terms of their ability to fight bacteria and their impact on periodontal flap surgery healing. Materials and Methods: The following two groups of 40 patients with chronic periodontitis who met the inclusion criteria for periodontal flap surgery were randomly assigned: first, TCS polyglactin 910 sutures, second, NCS polyglactin 910 sutures, and Every patient was assessed for healing index (HI), postoperative pain (POP), visible plaque index (VPI), and healing at day 0 (baseline), day 7, day 15, and day 30. On day 7, a visual analogue scale (VAS) was also used to evaluate the patients. Each suture's bacterial growth, both aerobic and anaerobic, was assessed after 7 days. Results: Although intragroup evaluation revealed statistically significant improvement, intergroup HI and POP were not statistically significant (P > 0.05). Compared to TCS, VPI was higher in NCS. Compared to aerobic bacteria, anaerobic bacteria were substantially less abundant (P 0.05). To lessen the number of microorganisms at the surgical sites, TCS sutures can be used in periodontal procedures.

Domestic work is one of the most important avenues for semi literate and literate people in India . In-fact, it is the primary source of income and employment for man and women working in un-organized sectors. Increase in per- capita income due to India s economic growth leads to more families falling under middle / high income households. In last few decades there has been a tremendous growth in the demand for domestic workers which has led to the trafficking and other forms of exploitation of millions of men, women and children of the both sexes and to meet this growing demand there has been a spurt of thousands of placement agencies providing domestic workers in metro-towns of many states, who are exploited in various ways as well as trafficked and remain outside the purview of any legislative control .The issue of exploitation of men, women and children domestic workers is frequent and regularly reported. With no rights and rules to fall back on, most of the domestic helps have become contemporary slaves. It is also a known fact that many women and children are trafficked and exploited by the placement agencies, which operate openly without any form of restrictions and regulations. Absence of any legal protection and any special law which led to severe exploitation men, women and children .which include depriving domestic workers from their entire salary average more than 16-18 hours of work per day, absence of proper food and living/sleeping condition, forced and total cut off from their family members, bounded labour , sexual exploitation by agent during transit, at the office of agency and at the work place In houses of employers, The list of exploitation is endless and frequently reported upon by the media .This article aims to examine the status of domestic workers in the country and the legal framework for decent work for domestic worker in India.

Firefighting is traditionally the most dangerous job which has been resulted in loss of many innocent lives. No matter the techniques used now days the well trained people can make mistakes. The use of robots is a trend that is used in recent techniques has attracted many attentions. This is because they can be used in most hazardous as well as very dangerous places which are exposed to fire or no human can help to minimize the fire or can get involved in. A fire can start or ignite in a factory or in any remote areas for a variety of non-predictable reasons. Electrical short circuits or leaks can cause serious damage to various industries, for example, petroleum industries. Robots or rovers are key to minimize loss and a viable option for protection of human life as well as the environments. The goal is to create a FIRE FIGHTING ROBOT using various embedded systems. It will be created for battling simulated home fires. This robot creates interest and creativity in domains of robotic field working towards an attainable result of saving lives and minimizing property danger.

Hypertension and heart attack is the leading risk factor of cardiovascular disease and has profound effects on both the structure and function of the microvasculature. Abnormalities of the retinal vasculature may reflect the degree of microvascular damage due to hypertension and heart attack, and these changes can be detected with fundus photographs. This project aimed to use deep learning and AI technique that can detect subclinical features appearing below the threshold of a human observer to explore the effect of hypertension and heart attack on morphological features of retinal microvasculature. retinal photographs are collected from data science domain with a diagnosis of hypertension and heart attack. By method of vessel segmentation, we removed interference information other than retinal vasculature and contained only morphological information about blood vessels. Using these segmented images, we trained a small convolutional neural networks (CNN) classification model and used a deep learning technique to generate heat maps for the class "hypertension" and "Heart attack". The main features are red patchy areas were mainly distributed on or around arterial/venous bifurcations. This indicated that the model has identified these regions as being the most important for predicting hypertension and little similar for heart attack.

Background The term Spinal Stenosis is defined as the 'narrowing of the Spinal canal with Encroachment on the neural structures by surrounding bone and soft tissue. Number of treatment approaches is effective in LSS. An intervention physiotherapy protocol has been employed in this case. Case Description A 20-year-old male presenting with a complaint of pain in the lower back region which was radiating to both lower limbs. he also had difficulty to perform household work like bending, sitting and standing. DIAGNOSIS TREATMENT PROTOCOL physiotherapy management with phases wise gave to the patient from day 1 to day 28. CONCLUSION Lumbar spinal stenosis is a crucial cause of painful and immobilizing radiculitis that has been treated habitually with the rising population, although spinal imaging inspections are available. Herein, we documented the case of a 20-year-old male with Lumbar spinal stenosis along with hypertension and hypothyroidism. There for in LSS the pt management in phases is wise is effective in pain relief and in mobility it is highly recommended for the patients with LSS to go through initial proper medication than to be undergoing surgical treatment.
