 Abstract

Infertility is a multidimensional problem with social, economic and cultural implications affecting approximately 8-10% of couples. In the present study a total of 635 infertile females from three infertile centers who are taking medical counseling were screened. A validated questionnaire has been administered to collect the data pertaining to the causes of infertility, period of infertility, education, occupation and life styles besides anthropometric measurements.. Both overweight (41.3%) and obesity (36%) has shown positive association with infertility in 5-9 yrs and >15yrs groups. Our results show a strong association of infertility with body mass index. A majority of educated and higher income groups sought medical counseling to resolve the infertility related problems. When the infertility cases were rated based on the issues around 30% females needed medical aid, 65% were normal and only 5% are refractory in nature. In conclusion it is stated that female infertility can be treated and managed with medication, minor surgical operations, laparoscopic procedures, hormonal therapy and prevention of preconception failure and maintenance of healthy life style

 Abstract

Nature and Literature have always shared an intimate bond as is apparent in the works of all poets and authors down the eras. Currently, this inseparable association between the natural and social world is being accentuated and interpreted in all fields of knowledge and growth. At present, environmental degradation has arisen as a major global concern for humankind. Jnanpith award winner Amitabh Ghosh in his novel The Hungry Tide writes about nature, people and environmental problems along with the climate change in the tidal area of the Sundarbans. That's why I have selected The Hungry Tide as my case study to explore the bond between man and nature. In this paper, I propose to address this conflict of rights and find a way to settle the issue of preference, focusing on the very pertinent question raised by Fokir who is the outsider in the ecosystem of the tidal land, and how much more responsible the "native" fishermen are for destroying the natural ecosystem than the forces of industrialization, urbanization, and forms of government and self-government interference.

 Abstract

The Indian economy is mostly driven by the automobile industry. By 2026, India is anticipated to be the third-largest automotive market in the world in terms of volume. Because they are specifically designed to meet the needs of low- and middle-income populations, the nation's vehicle industry stands out among those of other auto-producing nations. The government has released the Automotive Mission Plan (AMP) 2016-26, which will support the expansion of the Indian automotive industry and the national economy. The transportation sector is finding new opportunities as a result of the world's fast globalization, particularly as it transitions to more efficient, secure, and dependable modes of transportation like electric, electronic, and hybrid vehicles. In light of the foregoing, this article provides an outline of the Indian automobile industry's production, sales, and export trends across time.

 Abstract

This exploration paper features the absurdity that can be seen in Samuel Beckett's work Waiting for Godot (1952). Beckett raises various questions in his plays, which are left unanswered. Thus, there is an overall ambiguity in his works. Everything is redundant and going on in a cyclic manner. Life is useless as an air pocket. Presence of individual and God is being referred to and left upon the audience's imagination to draw their own conclusion. In this paper we also explore Beckett's way of bringing uncertainty of identity; self and other and the way his world of the absurd is constructed in the play. All the critics of existentialist way of thinking have proposed that person ought to recognize his own singularity and quit looking towards a saviour or a heavenly ability to handle issues of men's hostility. This research paper will also explore the themes of memory, waiting and hope. It is evident that the 'Theatre of the Absurd' can be seen here as the reflection of what seems to be the attitude representative of modern time. In fact, Waiting for Godot is one of the most important play of Samuel Beckett's of .This classic tragicomedy is known for its lack of plot--"Nothing happens, nobody comes, nobody goes, it's awful!" Two old tramps beneath a single tree make jokes to pass the time and reflect on the state of human existence while they wait for Godot--who never comes. A classic play of the absurd.

 Abstract

The consumption of the same is crucial to regulating and reducing its usage because used cooking oil is recycled from a variety of sources. Waste cooking oil is a good option for soap making because it is less expensive than other materials. This study was conducted with its primary purpose being to salvage waste cooking oil and processing into soap within the acceptable saponification values using caustic soda at different temperatures in different batches. The method adopted resulted in a favorable outcome, and reduced cure time was observed in subsequent trials. The soap is suitable for cleaning and washing

 Abstract

This paper investigates the study of compressive strength and workability of concrete is done when its fine aggregate is replaced by waste glass powder as an artificial sand. 150 * 150 * 150 mm cube are casted of M25,M30 and M35 grade of concrete for compressive strength. This project aimed to determine the level of glass replacement resulting in optimal compressive, tensile and flexural strength. Three concrete samples were tested at 7, 14 days and 28 days, for glass replacement proportions of 0%, 10%, 20% and 30% for each concrete mix proportion. The optimum percentage replacement of sand with fine glass aggregate was determined to be 20%. By using low-cost and environmental friendly building materials from industrial waste, a sustainable concrete can be produced.

The financial statements of a company can be used to determine its financial performance. Financial statements are official records of a companies, firms, or other unit's financial actions over time that provide a general idea of a company's financial situation in both the short and long term. They provide an accurate representation of a company's state and working results. Financial statements are occasionally used as a monitoring tool, primarily by company executives and investors, to assess the overall situation and working results of the company. This study made an effort to analyse Petroleum Company's financial performance and sustainability development that also affect the EVA. This study reports on the company's value, whether it is increasing or decreasing year after year. This is assessed using an Economic Value-Added analysis.
