 Abstract

Abstract: Shear wall is a vertical element of a system that is designed to resist in-plane lateral forces, typically wind and seismic loads. Shear walls are more effective in terms of seismic performance because they have high strength and stiffness, which can withstand significant lateral stresses as well as gravity loads. Shear walls behave like vertical cantilevers when they are independent planar walls or when they are non-planar connecting walls around elevators and stairwells. When employed inside a building, shear walls can add strength and stiffness. Where the building's exterior walls are unable to give it the necessary strength and stiffness. Knowing the correct location for a shear wall in a building is crucial for it to serve its intended purpose. The objective of the current study is to establish the best position for shear walls and their impact on the seismic performance of buildings. A comparison of the various analytical techniques has also been carried out. This piece of work analyses a high rise structure with various shear wall locations and shapes. [13] For the asymmetric buildings of heights G+9 and G+11, equivalent static analysis, time history analysis, and response spectrum analysis as per IS 1893 (Part 1): 2002 are performed in this paper. Additionally, an effort is made to study the effect of seismic loads on them in order to determine torsional moments, base shear, displacement, and time period. Finally, using ETABS 9.7.4 version, their capacity and demand are evaluated.[12].  Abstract

Agriculture requires modern assistance, and farmers need online solutions. A PHP and MySQL-based web application was developed to enable farmers to enter lab results and receive suggestions for soil conditions. With the help of advancing information technology, farmers can contact experts and get weather forecasts to make better decisions and achieve maximum yields.

 Abstract

This research paper aims to investigate the factors that influence tourists to choose Rajasthan as a healthcare destination. Rajasthan, the largest state in India, is renowned for its cultural heritage and vibrant tourism industry. In recent years, the state has emerged as a popular destination for medical tourism due to the availability of high-quality healthcare facilities, experienced medical professionals, and affordable treatment options. Understanding the factors that drive tourists to select Rajasthan for medical purposes can help policymakers and healthcare providers in the region develop targeted strategies to enhance the medical tourism sector further. This study utilizes both primary and secondary research methods to identify and analyze the key factors influencing tourists' decision to choose Rajasthan for healthcare services.

 Abstract

This paper deals with college students in general to study the use of social media in education. The study implemented methods of questionnaire, interview and meant to examine positions of school students and the use and access of smart devices, social websites in progress, the use of the internet, views of the impact of social media on education. From the basic characteristics, it seems that the smart phones are the best possible tool to enhance the use of social media in education, almost 80% of students own it, and almost 95% of the students have internet access at their house. The main tool in the social media applications is Whatsapp and it is used almost 90% of college students. The teachers and the students are together willing to use social media in education. To examine the positions of college students on social media the study implemented questionnaire, interview and observation methods.

 Abstract

The present study was conducted with the objective of studying the effect of different board (CBSE Board, CG Board) and different gender (boys, girls) on various dimensions of Examination Stress (Frustration, Conflict, Pressure and Anxiety). CBSE Board follows Grading System and CG Board follows Numerical System of evaluation. The sample of the study comprised of 120 students (60 boys, 60 girls) of class X selected from three schools of each board. Random Sampling (Lottery Method) was used for selection of a sample. For data analysis, mean, S.D. and Two-way ANOVA were computed. The results of the study showed that board and gender individually have no effect on dimensions of Examination Stress - Frustration, Conflict, Pressure and Anxiety but interaction effect of both variables is seen on Frustration and Conflict. No significant interaction effect of these variables is seen on Pressure and Anxiety.

 Abstract

Abstract: Before Indian independence the country was largest according to its population and area. Disunity and inter-communality,wealth inequality, inextensibility of education and communal divisions divided the population of India.imposing superstition, illiteracy was the intention of the people of particular community. Large parts of India were held back by caste, injustice ,exploitation and deception. Arjya has came from foreign country Indonesia, Taimur Lang has came from Uzbekistan , Mughal had came from Uzbekistan On one side of the struggle in India was the strategy of securing the interests of the foreign rulers and on the other side was the exploitation of the feudal lords. The two rulers were indifferent to social customs, superstitions, and civil rights.

 Abstract

Abstract: The present study Aims to Reflect on Social work intervention for Mental Health, in today's Busy Schedule of life, most of the peoples knowingly or unknowingly fall prey to some or the other mental illness. It's unfortunate to say that most of them are not aware of their mental illness and the severness increases. Peoples visits physicians for their physical illness, but are shy to visit a psychiatrist although they might be having some kind of mental disturbances. There may be various reasons for mental illness. Some Sociologist has classified Sociological Explanation of mental illness as a) Social Isolation Theory b) Role Theory and c) Labelling Theory. What so ever the reasons for mental illness may be, Eminent Psychologist and Psychiatrist has suggested some therapies as; 1) Preventive Psychiatrist: Timely crisis intervention can often prevent mental health even under stressful conditions. 2) The community Mental Health Movements: Public mental hospitals should operate within the form work of the local community mental health Programme. 3) Therapy: Individual counselling (Psychoanalysis, Behaviour Modification) Group Therapies: In this the patient becomes a member of an in-group and he gains a sense of belonging Community. Therapy Emphasis is placed on the treatment of mental patients within community, in facilities ranging from office and outpatient treatment to "half way home" and recreation centres day hospitals and night hospitals. The most important part of the medical social worker is to use direct methods. i.e. case work, group work and community organization in prevention and curative efforts of mentally ill persons. A social work should create awareness about mental illness in the community and try to eliminate the myths and stigma attachments, discrimination etc. as a case worker he should work with the patient as a counsellor and with his family, to provide support to the client for his betterment and give Emotional and Psychological strength. As a Group worker the social worker should support the Group and individuals in the group to gain a sense of belonging, how to respond to others and how others likely to perceive and react to him toward healthy interpersonal relation with society at large. As a Community organiser the psychiatric social worker should create awareness about mental disturbance, eliminate myths and stigma attachments and create a supportive movement of the community for prevention and cure of such mental illness.

 Abstract

Medical sociology is a branch of sociology that studies and analyzes the functioning of medical organizations and institutions and how social and cultural variables influence the fields of health and medicine. It is also called sociology of health. It helps to generate information about different approaches, actions and interactions of medical professionals and the socio-cultural implications of medicine. Health is sometimes seen as only or mostly a biological or individual problem with little effect on other people or society. That view is that the primary determinants of health are either entirely biological or entirely dependent on the individual. Most diseases can have completely biological roots, sociologists believe that the picture is more complex. Illness can be classified not only as a medical problem, but also as a social or psychological problem. Diseases can also be caused by existing social structures, an individual's lifestyle, social identity, experiences etc.
