 Abstract

Seed is the fundamental and vital determinant for a successful agricultural production and productivity in different agro-climatic regions. Therefore it is highly essential to maintain its purity and quality through various stages of seed production i.e. Breeder, foundation, registered and certified seed. Seed quality attains higher importance in view of emerging biotic and abiotic stresses, issues related to quality, phytosanitary measures and competition in domestic and international markets and emerging food needs. Different legislations are framed by the Government of India to protect the quality of seeds and planting materials and also provide adequate safeguards for quality assurance in the seed multiplication chain to maintain the purity of variety as it flows from the breeders to the farmers.

 Abstract

The aim of this paper is to study the concept of RMA with reference to India and its neighbour and the way RMA is contributing to National Security of India. This paper will examine the motives for India to adopt new practices associated with the latest RMA and its current situation.  Abstract

Utilization of alternate cementation materials leads to several possible improvements in the concrete composites also as well as in the overall economy of construction projects. This requirement is drawn the attention of investigators to explore new replacements of ingredients of concrete. Cement with GGBS replacement has emerged as a major alternative to conventional concrete and has rapidly drawn the concrete industry attention due to its cement savings, energy savings, cost savings, environmental and socio-economic benefits. The present paper is an effort to quantify the strength of ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS) at various replacement levels and evaluate its efficiencies with respect to concrete. This research evaluates the strength and strength efficiency factors of hardened concrete, by partially replacing cement by various percentages of ground granulated blast furnace slag for M25 grade of concrete at various ages. From the study, it can be concluded that, since the grain size of GGBS is less than that of ordinary Portland cement, its strength at early ages is low & will continue to gain strength up to 20% more than cement over a period of 28 days curing and also the workability of concrete is effective up to an addition of 40 % replacement of GGBS with concrete. The optimum GGBS replacement as cementation material is characterized by high compressive strength, low heat of hydration, resistance to chemical attack, better workability, good durability and cost-effectiveness.

 Abstract

Computer based evaluation of students’ performance is playing a vital role in world wide for all kinds of examinations. This method is somewhat faster than our manual evaluating process. In this study a new method is proposed to evaluate the students’ brief answers such as descriptive answers using Artificial Neural Networks [ANN]algorithm and Natural Language Processing [NLP] algorithms. In this system staff member creates answer sheet and keyword dataset for the examination process. These dataset are stored in data storage and student enters their answers in the examination page. This system automatically calculates result using two algorithms of NLP and ANN. Before this evaluation process the pre-processing technique in applied on the answers entered by the students. In this study, we used an Artificial Neural Networks algorithm for the normal answer comparison and stores marks for this in database and also evaluate the same answer using Natural language processing [NLP] algorithm to check grammar mistakes and stores the marks in database and finally compares both marks and provides final result. By these methods we can get an efficient result. The results given by the system is compared with the evaluation done by the faculty member.

 Abstract

Based on Intelligent Transport System (ITS), establish vehicle to vehicle communication for platoon system is aim of this work. Platoon is known for road train where lead vehicle (LV) is human driven and many following vehicles (FV) follow the lead vehicle automatically. Platoon system does not require any changes in existing road infrastructure. Controller area network (CAN Bus) standard protocol is used to communicate within the vehicle environment. PIC 18F2480 microcontroller with in-built CAN trance receiver is used. Zigbee module is used for wireless communication in overall platoon system. CAN Bus provide high speed wired communication, increased in flexibility and error free communication. The software design considers hardware initialization, CAN initialization, message sending and receiving unit etc.

 Abstract

The aim of this paper is to discuss and analyze a new and innovative research challenge on opinion mining. In this paper we are meant to develop a system that can identify and analyze opinion as represented in the electronic text.
