Digital agriculture uses next-generation technologies to change the face of modern farming through AI, IoT, big data analytics, and remote sensing. This enables farmers to base their decisions on data to take resource optimization steps, improve yield, and achieve sustainability. This paper discusses the role of digital devices in precision agriculture, smart irrigation, automated machinery, and predictive analytics with a nod towards their efficiencies enabling an environmental sustainability scale. Even though digital agriculture began gathering steam, its massive adoption faces infrastructure limitations in developing regions, data privacy issues, and the digital divide that could exist between developed and developing regions. Other than case studies and updates on recent developments, the present study probes the landscape of digital agriculture, possible barriers, and the directions it is likely to take from now on and sets them against the backdrop of ensuring global food security and sustainable agriculture

Pune is currently experiencing acute water scarcity, primarily due to the over-extraction of groundwater, which has resulted in significant aquifer depletion and borewell depths extending to nearly 450 feet in several areas. The construction industry, being one of the largest consumers of potable water, further exacerbates this challenge. Although treated wastewater from Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) is available, its application remains limited and underutilized. This study investigates the feasibility of restoring the historic Peshwa-era aqueducts--an 18th-century water supply system that once extended over 20 kilometers and served more than 200 locations across the city--as a sustainable supplement to current water resources. Through a multidisciplinary approach involving technical assessment, historical analysis, and stakeholder engagement, the research also includes monthly water sampling from key sites such as Bagul Udyan and Tapowan Society in Parvati Paytha to evaluate water quality for potential use in drinking (with minimal treatment), gardening, and construction. The objective is to propose a sustainable water management framework that reduces dependence on groundwater while integrating heritage infrastructure into modern urban planning.

This study examines the level of employee engagement in a housing finance company, with a focus on factors such as job satisfaction, salary, benefits, work environment, career growth, recognition, and communication. A survey was conducted with 156 employees from various departments within the company to understand how these factors impact employee motivation and retention. The results reveal that while employees are generally satisfied with peer relationships and the office environment, there are significant areas for improvement, particularly in compensation, career development, and communication. Based on these findings, the study offers recommendations for the HR department, including the implementation of tailored policies considering employees' age and marital status, infrastructure upgrades, and the integration of modern technology to enhance the work environment. Additionally, it suggests introducing employee recognition programs, regular feedback systems, training opportunities, and promoting open communication to foster a positive workplace culture, improve employee morale, and strengthen retention.

This study aims to explore the perceptions and satisfaction levels of clients regarding the infrastructure facilities and services provided in Special Economic Zones (SEZs) in Chennai. SEZs play a critical role in promoting industrial growth, attracting foreign investment, and generating employment. However, their success is heavily dependent on the quality of infrastructure and services offered to businesses operating within them. The research focuses on identifying the key infrastructure elements--such as transportation, utilities, communication networks, and security--and service-related aspects like administrative support, ease of doing business, and responsiveness of SEZ authorities. Primary data was collected through structured questionnaires distributed among clients operating in various SEZs across Chennai. The study uses both descriptive and inferential statistics to analyze the data. Findings indicate that while clients appreciate the location advantages and basic infrastructure, there is a growing demand for improvements in service efficiency, maintenance, and digital facilities. The study concludes with recommendations for SEZ developers and policymakers to enhance infrastructure standards and service delivery mechanisms to improve client satisfaction and long-term sustainability of SEZs in Chennai.

In this Paper we present an approach for conditioned and composed image retrieval based on CLIP features. In this extension of content-based image retrieval (CBIR) an image is combined with a text that provides information regarding user intentions, and is relevant for application domains like e-commerce. The proposed method is based on an initial training stage where a simple combination of visual and textual features is used, to fine-tune the CLIP text encoder. Then in a second training stage we learn a more complex combiner network that merges visual and textual features. Contrastive learning is used in both stages. The proposed approach obtains state-of-the-art performance for conditioned CBIR on the Fashion-IQ dataset and for composed CBIR on the more recent CIRR dataset..

This study explores the marketing challenges encountered by maize producers in the taluks of Pollachi and Mettupalayam in Coimbatore district, Tamil Nadu. Maize, a significant cereal crop in India's agricultural economy, faces various marketing hurdles that affect producers' profitability and sustainability. The research investigates key issues such as price fluctuations, inadequate storage infrastructure, high transportation costs, limited direct market access, and the dependence on middlemen. A descriptive research design was employed, and data were collected from 125 maize farmers through structured questionnaires. Statistical tools like percentage analysis, Likert scale, chisquare test, and ranking methods were used to interpret the data. The findings reveal a general lack of awareness among farmers regarding government schemes, market trends, and digital marketing platforms. The study underscores the need for improved policy awareness, enhanced storage and transportation facilities, promotion of Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), and the use of digital tools to empower farmers. Recommendations are proposed to address these marketing constraints and foster a more sustainable and profitable maize production ecosystem in the region

The socks were produced using yarns with a 30s Ne count, consisting of two different compositions: 100% cotton and a blend of 60% cotton with 40% bamboo. The 30s Ne refers to the yarn's thickness, indicating a finer yarn suitable for creating comfortable and durable socks. The use of 100% cotton yarn ensures softness, breathability, and moisture-wicking properties, while the cotton-bamboo blend combines the natural qualities of cotton with the added benefits of bamboo, such as enhanced moisture management, anti-bacterial properties, and sustainability. This combination of yarns contributes to the overall comfort and functionality of the socks.
