This study investigates the adherence of sport players to the principles of Yama and Niyama, as outlined in classical yoga philosophy. Yama (restraints) and Niyama (observances) form the ethical foundation of yoga and have implications for discipline, mental clarity, and overall well-being. A survey was conducted among 378 sport players across different disciplines to evaluate their awareness and application of these principles. This was a long-term study which consist of different sports tournament conducted at Shree Hanuman Vyayam Prasarak Mandal's Degree College of Physical Education, Amravati. Sports tournaments includes only team games as Basketball (56), Football (91), Kho-Kho (70), Kabaddi (49), Hockey (56) and Handball (56). Results indicate that while awareness of Yama and Niyama is relatively high, consistent practice is limited due to competitive schedules and lack of formal yoga education. The findings underscore the potential benefits of integrating these principles into sports training programs.

The pursuit of physical resilience requires a harmonious balance between strength and flexibility, two critical attributes that underpin overall fitness and health. Mallakhamb, an ancient Indian sport, and Yoga, a millennia-old practice, both excel in cultivating these qualities through distinct yet complementary methodologies. Mallakhamb builds strength, agility, and endurance through dynamic, acrobatic manoeuvres performed on poles or ropes, demanding immense focus and discipline. Yoga, on the other hand, enhances flexibility, balance, and mental clarity through mindful asanas (postures) and pranayama (breathing techniques). This paper delves into the synergistic roles of Mallakhamb and Yoga, presenting a comprehensive analysis of their combined impact on physical resilience. By integrating the strength-oriented practices of Mallakhamb with the flexibility-enhancing principles of Yoga, individuals can achieve a well-rounded and sustainable fitness regimen. Drawing on historical insights, contemporary research, and practical applications, this study underscores the transformative potential of blending these time-honoured disciplines to foster holistic physical and mental well-being. This research paper recommends the significance of health related physical fitness components to be developed by the integration of Yoga and Mallakhamb as the training regimen.

Concurring to the World Health Organization (WHO), "About 422 million people worldwide have diabetes, the majority living in low-and middle-income countries, and 1.5 million deaths are directly attributed to diabetes each year. Over the past few decades, there has been a steady increase in both the prevalence and the number of cases of diabetes." Accordingly, the researcher's goal is to determine how yoga and walking effect patients with diabetes. The researcher expressed a hypothesis that, "The efficacy of asnas and walking on diabetic patients." The purpose was to check the impact of yoga and walking on diabetic patients. For the study 75 diabetic patients was chosen with the offer assistance of purposive sampling due to consent. The study was delimited to type-2 diabetic patients only. The age of the subject ranges from 25-65 Yr. The patients with maximum 05 years of diabetic history were chosen. The 75 patients were distributed similarly in 3 equal groups, The Yoga Group, the walking group and the control group. The blood glucose test was utilized to get the data. The pre-data were taken before the training. Each group trained for 6 weeks as per their group. Post-data were taken just after the training. The level of significance was set at 0.05. The dependent t-test was employed to check the difference within the group. Having significant difference in dependent t-test, the Analysis of Variance test was used which advance appears the significant difference between the groups. The post-hoc test was employed between the yoga and walking (0.0229), Walking and Control (0.4370) and yoga and control group (0.0033) in which yoga a control group shows the significant difference.

Yoga for special needs children is adapted from traditional yoga to enhance their abilities like physical, mental, or emotional wellbeing. Yoga techniques are flexible and from an inclusive approach, ensuring children with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy and ADHD (Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder) can also do them. Adding on modifications to pose, breathing exercises, or adding mindfulness activities will allow yoga to be tailored to individual needs, enhancing a sense of empowerment and accomplishment. Research reveals that yoga for special needs helps motor skill development, helps the child focus and pay attention, reduces the child's anxiety, and aids the child in making social interaction. Because of these benefits, yoga is an effective therapeutic tool for both physical and psychological challenges. Besides, props, visual aids and one on one guidance eliminate the risk of injury and provide an engagement opportunity for kids, in a nurturing atmosphere where children are supported.

The current study sought to evaluate and contrast the basal metabolic rate among individuals who regularly practice yoga and a control group. A total of 30 ladies were selected at random. Among a group of 30 women, half of them (15) regularly practiced yoga while the other half served as control subjects. The individuals' ages ranged from 30 to 45 years. Information was collected via a body composition analyzer machine. The data was analyzed using Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA). The findings demonstrated a notable impact of Yoga on the basal metabolic rate. Ultimately, the present investigation determined that Yoga yielded positive result.

Mental health disorders, including depression, anxiety, and schizophrenia, have a huge impact on global health. Medications are often prescribed, but they are not always effective and can be harmful. Exercise has become a potential non-pharmacological intervention to improve mental health. This paper discusses the effects of exercise on different mental health disorders, the physiological and psychological mechanisms involved, and its potential as a complementary treatment approach. Improved mood, reduced stress, and enhanced cognitive functions result from regular physical activity. Exercise promotes neuroplasticity, regulates the levels of hormones released under stress, and encourages social interaction, all leading to better outcomes in mental health. Various forms of exercise, such as aerobic activity, resistance training, and mind-body exercises, have shown efficacy in reducing symptoms of mental health conditions. Despite challenges related to motivation and accessibility, structured and personalized exercise programs are a promising avenue for mental health management. Future research should focus on optimizing exercise protocols tailored to specific disorders and integrating them into standard treatment regimens.

Until the 18th century, Europeans knew very little about ancient India. They obtained this information from the travelogues of people who had traveled to the Orient (the eastern part of the Asian continent). These travelers mainly include Nicolo Conti, Nikitan, Lugovico-de-Verschema, Duret Barbosa, Travernis. However, with the exception of William Finch, none of them seems to have traced the ancient Indian culture from their writings. Not only that,Ralph Finch and Travanier, who wrote about Bijapur, and Tom Coryott, who covered Delhi and the surrounding area, did not see any traces of ancient India in their travels.
