The equal participation of men and women in decision making bodies and vital policy makings is an indicator of the maturity and efficacy of democracy in any country. India is considered as the largest democracy in the world and the constitution of India attempts to remove gender inequalities by banning discrimination based on sex and class. An analysis of the womens voting pattern in India reveals that there has been an increasing female turnout in recent years. However they continue to be under-represented in legislative bodies. This paper analysis the socio-cultural and economic factors responsible for meager political participation of women in India. And the paper concludes Quota for women as only means through which women can secure a rightful place in society.

Discourse analysis can be characterised as the study of relationship between language and the contexts in which it is used. The focus of discourse is on context and on the behavioural patterns that structure the social functions of a language, above and beyond the construction of structural models. For discourse analysts, context is of primary importance. Michel Foucault described discourse as a whole field or domain within which language is used in particular ways. This field or domain is produced in and through social practices, institutions, and actions. Language learning cannot be divorces from social context and the environment in which the learning takes place. The present study seeks to understand the various discourses at play in an English as second language classroom teaching. For this purpose, students of Class IX of a government school and their teacher has been selected to evaluate and unravel the interaction in the classroom and the dialogue of individual discourses with the larger social discourse of the classroom. The main focus of the study was to explore if and how gender and socio-economic status of the students impacts the learning in an ESL classroom.

India is the 3rd largest garbage generator in the world and by 2050 waste is expected to rise to 436 million tons up. Around 64 million tons of solid waste is produced in our country every year, of which less than 20% or only 12 million tons are treated, remaining 52 million tons of waste are remain untreated and contaminate land or make it is way into rivers, lakes, and wetlands. Effective waste management is to ensure proper segregation of waste and ensure that the waste goes through the recycling and resource recovery process. Sanitary landfills are the means of disposal for unutilized municipal solid waste from waste processing facilities and other types of inorganic waste that cannot be reused or recycled. Here the problem is solved, by designing an embedded system that will monitor each dumpster automatically by detecting the amount of waste deposited using a robotic arm. Here moisture sensors can be used for segregating wet and dry waste. For detecting the presence of any waste IR sensor is used and for detecting wet or dry waste a moister sensor can be used. In this process, if moisture sensor output is HIGH then the robotic arm moves towards WET dumpster else it moves towards the DRY dumpster. Both the dumpster are embedded with infrared sensors at the top, to measure the level of waste in the dumpsters. If the dumpsters reach their maximum level then an alert message using the GSM module along with buzzer sound is generated

There are many geological faults which were created during evolution of Deccan peninsula. Through these faults geothermal fluid flows. Here in SONATA (Son-Narmada-Tapti river) region near Jalgaon nearly 7 geothermal hot springs were detected in 1991 study [1]. In this paper, particularly the study of Unabdeo is conducted. This study focuses on the amount of energy which can be effectively utilized or can be extracted for the beneficial of local Adiwasi people. The study conducted shows that the available discharge on the surface is naturally17280-69120 LPD at an average temperature of 500C, this study also focuses on the temperature variation with day hours, and also to check viability of this heat energy utilization for commercial use.

As population is increasing at high pace, so does our energy demand. Non-renewable energy possess a high risk for the population and the surrounding with their emissions and being one of the biggest reason for the surge towards global warming and pollution. Each and every one of us is energy consumer. We consume energy in nearly every day-to-day activities. Our dependence on energy has increased steeply with our ease of living. We are in the midst of unprecedented changes, where meeting energy demands sustainably is not an option, but an only way to get through the societal and environmental concerns. Its high time to shift from conventional to clean energy sources. One of the source is Wind Energy. Wind energy can be harnessed by converting the Kinetic energy of wind to Mechanical energy via wind turbines, which can be converted to the electrical energy by means of generator. It is a consistent source of renewable energy with less variability. The limitation of wind turbine is its height, average height of wind turbine is around 100-120 meters. Wind energy is available most vastly on the upper atmosphere. Speed of wind increases with height, and we are restricted to limited height when we can harness more energy at the same place in same time limit just by increasing height. Increasing the wind turbine height additionally will incur an addition to capital cost, as wind turbines are primarily made of steel and are supported on base. To improve this constraint, Air-Borne wind turbine are find suitable, as they are clean, there height can be varied with tether cable, and they do not require high setup cost and expensive materials. Designing an AB-Wind turbine after assessing the wind speeds at various locations can generate more electricity, more cheaply and more cleanly. Clean energy follows the rule of 3Rs- Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle . AB-Wind Turbine reduces emissions, it can be reused in various cycles, and Wind Energy is a form of inexhaustible recyclable energy

The aim of the study was designed to determine the effect of Iron yoga and Meditation on Vital Capacity among the College level football Players. To attain the purpose, Forty five (N=45) inter collegiate football players who have participated in the Calicut University , Kerala football tournaments during the year 2018-2019 were selected randomly as subjects. Their age ranged from 18 to 25 years. The subjects were assigned at random into three groups of fifteen each (n=15). Group-I underwent Yogasana Practice (n=15), Group-II underwent Meditation Practice (n=15) and Group-III acted as Control. The dependent variable selected for this study was Vital Capacity and it was assessed by Spirometer. All the subjects were tested prior to and immediately after the training for the selected variable. Data were collected and statistically analyzed using ANCOVA. Scheffes post hoc test was applied to determine the significant difference between the paired means. In all the cases 0.05 level of significance was fixed. The results of the study showed that there was a significant difference among all the Experimental groups namely Yogasana Practices and Meditation Practices. Further the results showed Meditation group was found to have greater impact on the group concerned than the Yogasana group and Control group in enhancing the performance of Vital Capacity.

While women and men share many similar health challenges, the differences are such that the health of women deserves particular attention. Women generally live longer than men because of both biological and behavioural advantages. But in some settings, notably in parts of Asia, these advantages are overridden by gender-based discrimination so that female life expectancy at birth is lower than or equal to that of males. Moreover, womens longer lives are not necessarily healthy lives. There are conditions that only women experience and whose potentially negative impact only they suffer. Some of these such as pregnancy and childbirth are not diseases, but biological and social processes that carry health risks and require health care. Some health challenges affect both women and men, but have a greater or different impact on women and so require responses that are tailored specifically to womens needs. Other conditions affect women and men more or less equally, but women face greater difficulties in getting the health care they need. Furthermore, gender based inequalities for example in education, income and employment limit the ability of girls and women to protect their health.
