The Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC) performance depends on the operating and design parameters like operating pressure, temperature, stoichiometric ratio of hydrogen and oxygen, relative humidity and rib width to channel width (R:C), the shape of the flow channel and the number of passes on the flow channel. In this work, interdigitated flow channel of 16 cm2 (4cm x 4cm) active area model has been created using Creo software and it has been analyzed using CFD fluent software. The power density has been calculated for R:C 1:1 with the effect of various operating temperature (313, 323,333 and 343K), constant pressure of 2 bar and constant inlet reactant mass flow rate of the PEMFC has been considered. The maximum numerical power density of interdigitated flow channel with R:C -1:1 were found to be 0. 301 W/cm2 at temperature of 313 K.

To lead a successful life, we have to be smart and for becoming smart, we have to do our work intelligently and efficiently. The busy life style of people has made them not have enough time to talk, relax, cook or eat with others. Today people have begun to take more western type foods than our traditional foods. They have started consuming the fast foods like pizza, burger, sandwich, noodles etc. These foods do not contain enough nutritive value and they are not suitable to our body health as well. India is the only country which has more human resources than any other country. The focus of this paper will be highlight on the dietary habits of college students.

In this article an immigration context is discussed and reviewed with reference to Uma Parameswarans writings. Acculturation is the process of social, psychological, and cultural change that stems from the balancing of two cultures while adapting to the prevailing culture of the society. Individuals of a differing culture try to incorporate themselves into the new more prevalent culture by participating in aspects of the more prevalent culture, such as their traditions, but still hold onto their original cultural values and traditions. The effects of acculturation can be seen at multiple levels in both the devotee of the prevailing culture and those who are assimilating into the culture. At this group level, acculturation often results in changes to culture, religious practices, healthcare, and other social institutions.

Vehicle license plate recognition is the most interesting and challenging topic for past few years. It is shown that the license plates are of different shape and size and also have different color in different countries but in existing system it can only detect for fixed size and fixed shape license plates. They have achieved the detection of license plates using various techniques and methods. In the traffic control and security management framework, license plate recognition methodology plays a important role, which manages more responsibility for high security. Identifying the moving vehicles license plate is a complex task, because of the existence of noise and differing illumination and angles. So they executed the system with enhanced techniques and methods for accurate and reliable detection of license plate numbers. This paper briefs about the challenges and advantages of various methods in vehicle license plate estimation.

Smart automation system is an evolution of human kind to a new era. These systems do all the jobs quickly and efficiently which saves time in our daily life, and in order to make these smart systems work more efficiently, faster and accurately we have used an FPGA Board (Field- Programmable Gate Array) in our thesis project. FPGA is an integrated circuit (IC) that allows programmer to create their own design in the field after manufacture and the core is able to operate different modules simultaneously. The main goal of our thesis is to implement four features that will save us from various accidents and wastage like home on fire or over flow of water and a little bit of smart security where we used PIR motion sensor, fire sensor and water sensor. In order to complete our desired project we had to work in three portions compilation of module, synthesis and hardware implementation. FPGA board works digitally that lead us to converting all the sensor data or outputs to digital. We designed different modules for compiling different sensors on the FPGA board, then synthesis and hardware implementation were carried out accordingly. In spite of facing many challenges up to the hardware implementation we were successfully able to reach our desired goal.

Water is essential for all living things survival. In this circumstance, the ever depleting water resources and their protection as well as sustainable consumption and supply of clean and potable water for increasing population is biggest challenge of 21st century. Increasing population is increasing pressure on water. Water supply is an important contextual theme in planned economic development. The state is endowed with limited water resource that is stressed and depleting. Different sector demands are growing rapidly. Increase in population, urbanization, rapid industrialization and rising incomes are putting this resource under stress. Unless water resources are properly developed and managed, the state will face acute crisis within the next two decades. Serious destabilization of water sector affecting the hydrology, economy and ecology of state. Sustainable development requires wise policies and effective strategies that conserve, protect, manage fresh water to meet needs of human and other creatures. This paper focus on problems needs, sources, key issues of water resources challenges of water resources management in Karnataka with reference to Dharawad district, the paper ultimately aims at recommending solution to the problem.

Old age is a period when people need physical, emotional, and psychological support. Depression is a major mental health problem, which is yet to be recognized as an important public health challenge. About 322 million people affected with depression worldwide. Depression is the single largest contributor to global disability (7.5%, 2015) and a major contributor to suicides (800,000 annually. The study was conducted in Ashra old age of Bhopal. The population comprised of all elderly people both male and female who are residing in old age home and having sign of symptoms of depression. The study findings concludes that the, pretest mean depression score was 18.64 and with a standard deviation of 3.41 and in posttest mean depression score was 9.32 with a standard deviation of 2.67. This proves that Mindfulness Therapy was effective in reducing depression level of elderly people. Mindfulness meditation is a nurse-initiated intervention that has the advantages of being cost-effective, therapeutic, social and recreational for the institutionalized older adult. As a communicative psychosocial process, Mindfulness meditation has proven to be a valuable intervention for the depressed elderly client

An automatic tree planting robot should be suitable for all kinds of tree plantation work and it should also be reliable and efficient, which is the basic requirement for our project. The main motto of our project is to reduce the man power needed to plant trees. Nowadays humans are too busy with their work that they do not have time to plant trees, in such case we would see a lot of reduction in trees in the near future. So, we thought of implementing a tree planting robot which would reduce the reduction of trees to a great extent. From this we can plant different types of saplings. We have tried to make it cheap by using different process method so that it becomes affordable to one and all. We have made its control very easy so that it does not get difficult for the users.

Abstract: There are a number of conformist skill based forms extensively prevalent in instantaneous circumstances clearly visible for ordinary human beings. As a matter of fact, these innovative forms are part of an average power of human survival and performances of these social mechanisms are unavoidable for its existence. Many mechanisms are invented for reducing difficulties of employment and with use of them strains evacuated to negligible. Apart from useful aspects common man like them to contain a shape enhances aesthetic sensibilities of its beholder. On anticipation of this specific utility these mechanisms well planned before creation. There are several of activities come into ones purview when seriously look at it for its significance. In this study several venues of craft production are elaborately explained and pointed its social relevance on materialistic and Aesthetic utility. The craft productions found in Kerala has two phases, the first one is with excess of labor content in it and other is with more aesthetic or philosophic content. Necessity of further studies in this area is exposed and confirmed.

Increasing research interest has been focused on controlled drug delivery using natural and biocompatible polymers as drug carriers in recent years. In the present study transdermal patch of Vildagliptin was developed using Aloe Vera gel powder as a polymer and Almond oil as penetration enhancer. Patches were prepared by solvent evaporation technique. Optimization was carried out by response surface methodology using central composite design with polymer concentration(X1), plasticizer concentration(X2), and concentration of permeation enhancer(X3) as independent variables. Hydrophilic nature of polymer as well as plasticizer and Interaction with intercellular protein to disrupt the structure of stratum corneum were responsible for increase in drug release with increase in their concentrations. Optimized formulation F9 exhibited high drug release, folding endurance Thus, It can be concluded that transdermal patch of Vildagliptin using aloe vera gel powder will be more efficacious and gives synergistic effect to drug
